It was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Very close to transportation and the places we wanted to visit

Fabulous Four night family stay, the staff was so nice. Even though it was really busy, they were super helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. I couldn’t recommend it higher! Rooms were nice and comfortable. It worked out really well for our family of four.

We LOVED it! The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. Lobby was really nice, from was fantastic; loved the separate bedroom from the common/living room with a pullout couch; we were travelling with our kids, so everyone had their own space. Clean, updated bathroom, kind housekeeping staff. Will definitely stay here when we come back to DC, highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay! Very clean, accommodating, and friendly staff. Loved the complimentary happy hour upon arrival. My only complaint is the lack of options for the parking . Other than that loved my stay!

This hotel is very modernized and at a good location for restaurants and shopping.

We’ve always had excellent experiences with Embassy Suites which is why we were excited to book this stay for our much anticipated trip to visit family in DC. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. From the moment I opened the door to our room, there was debris all over the carpet along with the smell of dogs/smoke. In the bathroom, there were numerous hairs scattered all over the tile. It’s as though it was never vacuumed. The couch cushions were disgusting, where we didn’t even want to sit on them. We requested a different room but instead they said they would send someone to vacuum. When we returned to our suite, some of the debris on the carpet was gone but the hair all over the bathroom remained. The first night, the neighbor’s dog kept us up barking until almost 3 AM. The staff in the lobby was always very warm and professional. The rest of the hotel seemed very nice, I don’t know if we were just unlucky with our room or if all of the others were the same. Either way, the overall experience was very disappointing.

The overall experience of staying at Embassy Suites is great. It is in a perfect location and has good conditions for the suite room and amenities. The only complaint is that our check-in was delayed by one hour because the room was not ready even after the required check-in time.

Absolutely wonderful, but also…terrible.
We arrived on November 5th. We were greeted out front by the most friendly valets imaginable. They helped us unload our car and brought everything to our room, even unloading the luggage cart for us. Happy Hour from 5pm-7:30pm with complimentary wine and snacks. The suite was spectacularly clean, spacious, and well stocked. The complimentary breakfast was the most elaborate spread we’ve seen at any hotel. This opulence and top tier customer service was then overshadowed by the fall of democracy that took place just hours after our arrival.

Just an overall pleasure. Breakfast was good, location was good. Housekeeping was exceptional . Parking was pricy, but, duh!

The lobby was welcoming, the check-in was easy. Our carpeting and tile in our room needed vacuuming...found toenails, hair, crumbs. Otherwise it was clean. We experienced alot of noise from other rooms at night. the walls must be thin. the hotel was close to the sightseeing highlights.

Excellent stay. Great location. Comfy bed double plus!! Smelled nice

We called for extra towels 4x with no response; the bathroom configuration made it difficult for more than one person to be in there; $70 fee for parking per night!!

It’s a very good hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, water pressure and temperature at the shower is very good. Bed is very good and comfortable.

It was perfect for a 3 night visit to DC for a couple of seniors (as in old vs high schoolers) Outstanding service and a good location for places we wanted to visit. Added bonus was the Farmers’ Market in the City Center Square. We really appreciated the breakfast and happy hour and the on site restaurant.
Our suite was pet friendly and a little the worse for wear but worked fine for us. Picky we are not!

Hotel was beautiful. Very clean and staff was helpful. Breakfast was great. $60 a night for valet parking, absolutely ridiculous!!!

Stayed here for three nights as a family of four in a double suite. On the first night we arrived back to the hotel to find that someone had unfortunately defecated across the lobby floor leading to the lifts – which the kids very nearly trod in as it was only highlighted by a couple of wet floor warning signs!
On the second night there was a loud and deeply irritating cyclical humming noise in our room which kept us from sleeping. We contacted the front desk who sent up security who acknowledged the noise and said they would investigate the source and get back to us. An hour later with no update we contacted the front desk again to be told by the duty manager that they thought it was the boiler or something, the hotel was full and there is nothing we can do about it. The next morning – after little sleep, we spoke directly with the hotel manager (Elijah) who was very apologetic and offered us a refund for that night. As this was booked through a third-party (Expedia) and it was unlikely that this would be processed properly, he offered to immediately credit our Hilton members account with 60,000 points which he claimed could be exchanged for night in a Hilton hotel anywhere in the world – though I doubt this very much. Nevertheless, we are still awaiting these points, despite repeatedly contacting the hotel, and raising a case with Hilton guest services. It is such a shame our stay here was so disappointing, as the very similar Hilton suites hotel in which we had spent the

Embassy Suites is the best place to stay when you’re in Washington DC it is accessible to all the places you want to visit. I appreciate the front desk attendant who assisted us during our check-in and check out.

I stayed 5 nights and I can say that this hotel is the best hotel experience.
The room is clean and spacious; separate living room and bedroom. Breakfast is great. They provide delicious omelette every morning(but quite busy and crowded. recommend to visit before 8 am). And my son enjoyed swimming every afternoon.
Close enough to ride a bike to national mall and it had different bus and metro lines so easy to get access to everywhere.
I enjoyed travelling Washington DC and and this hotel is a big part of it. I could fully rest here.

First we arrived earlier, at 11:30 am. The lady at the check in counter advised us that our room was actually ready but that we needed to pay an extra fifty USD to access our room earlier than the check in time?!? First time ever hearing such a thing. We have 3 kids so we make sure we always book a hotel with a pool. As we get to the pool, it is closed. There was no mention of this online or at the check in. We ask the front desk again and they tell us the chemicals are « off » and it is closed for the day. We set the beds for night and we realized they have no blankets for the pull out couch. My husband go to the front desk and ask for a blanket but is told there is no extra. Then he asked for sheets instead and he is told they will send someone. We never got the extra bedding that night and we shuffle the kids so my husband slept with nothing. No one was answering the concierge phone. The next day we tell them we want to leave and get a refund since we paid ahead. They did not wanted to, were offering « points » instead. After my husband argued, they offered him a voucher at the hotel restaurant. It is not what we wanted but better than nothing and losing the whole reservation by leaving.
He asked again about the pool but now the story changed, apparently it had to be drained! Anyone who has a pool know very well that these are all excuses!!!
At check out, we check out room charges and the manager of that day tell us that there are no vouchers for our room:(

Everyone who worked at this location was incredibly kind and helpful. From the front desk, to the janitors, to the breakfast staff- really wonderful. Our room was really spacious. The cleaners had missed some food and other crumbs in corners and under the edge of the bed but otherwise it was in great condition. The pool area is clean and a great size. The breakfast was ok, the food was pretty average but there were plenty of options.

The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was very clean. It is in walking distance of the Capital One Arena as well as several museums, dining, and shopping locations.

It was frustrating to get moved to a different hotel for one night. Although all the staff were friendly, having to check in and out is a waste of time when you only have a short amount of time.
