We love this hotel. Foreigner friendly, especially Charles Hao, the General Manager. He is very attentive, helpful, gave us a lot of good advice on your trips and it’s memorable. Hotel staffs are very accommodating, always smiling and eager to please. We r very happy throughout our trip. Breakfast spread is excellent! Room is very clean esp the toilet. Enjoyed our stay! Will choose this hotel again. Location is very good, you can get anything from Deji Plaza. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.

The hotel locates in the center of the city. There are a lots of shopping options around, and the hotel is very close to the metro station. The breakfast is super good, many options to both chinese and eastern styles. My kid likes it very much.

We stayed here years ago and this place was pretty average. So this year (2024) we were not expecting much but were surprised at how it has changed and really increased its level. Everything was so dramatically better. Everything in the room was newer and clean. The bathroom fixtures were newer and spotless. And with it being an unusual 105 degrees outside every day, the AC had no trouble keeping up with it. Even with construction going on outside, our room was completely quiet. It was like a completely different new hotel. The staff was professional and polite and if we had any issue it was addressed quickly. The location is convenient and only a few minutes walk to the subway at Xinjiekou. Lots of restaurants and shopping available close by too. The breakfast buffet was also a treat and provided many options. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend it. At this price it is quite a bargain.

Got free upgrade to family room, since we stayed there for 9days. Awesome service! Free parking! The hotel is located at downtown Nanjing, which is one of the oldest hotel in the city. Although interior is outdated, but it’s very clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient also.

The location is convenient. Just a few mins walk to the metro station. The staff is excellent. Although the hotel looks dated from the outside, the interior is well maintained and clean. Nothing that we did not like.

The pool was under maintenance and not available. Maybe the management should list that information earlier so that I can book a hotel with a functioning swimming pool. The beds are twin-size beds. The rooms are in two rows, one facing the main streets, and the other facing inside. Obviously the inside ones are quieter. I hope this information helps people who will book them in the future.

Fantastic location. Restaurants , supermarket Very close by and major shopping centre just across the road.We stayed for six nights. Very attentitive friendly helpful staff who really care about their customers. Would very much recommend.

The staff are very friendly. It is located well. I lost my wedding ring and the Manager Tian found it and kept in the safe for me. They contacted me and returned to me. I am returning to this hotel in 1 week and stayed for another 4 nights.

Certainly! Here's a refined version of your review: I would give Nanjing Central Hotel a five-star rating. During our stay, an emergency arose with my family, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in promptly calling for an ambulance. Within 5-10 minutes, the ambulance arrived and swiftly transported my family to the nearby hospital, which was only 1-2 kilometers away from the hotel. The room was impeccably clean, with a modern and new ambiance. The housekeeping staff on level 10 were exceptionally helpful and polite. We opted for the hotel breakfast buffet during check-in, paying RMB 50 per person. It was not only delicious but also thoroughly enjoyed by my kid. Overall, if I ever find myself flying to Nanjing again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel. As for drawbacks, the gym facility was unfortunately under maintenance for over four months, which was disappointing as we were unable to utilize it.

The hotel looks very nice when first seen. however, the design is not practical, there is no privacy at all for showering, because there is no door at the dressing area. As soon as stepping out of the shower, the naked body is seen by your roommate (well, husband/wife is okay, but will be embarrassed if friends or other family members) . also, there is only one hook over the counter, but the space is not long enough to hang changing clothes. it seems the focus was not at the user but the look.

Very well located hotel with fine staff. But you can see right away that the hotel is very Chinese made. Everything looks good on a surface, but when you start looking closely, there are many problems: something doesn’t work, needs maintenance etc. In the shower we had some bugs and flies, Gym is a total disaster! The equipments are very old and not functioning. Pool seems to be dirty. Breakfast is very fine.

Sort of old by Chinese standards, and the breakfast was sub-par. The staff was friendly, but almost too friendly, as everyone keeps on asking, "Are you satisfied with your room?" (Not sure if they would do this in English however -- we both speak Chinese.)

Excellent service. They’ve proactively upgraded us to a better room. They have a specific person helping us to bring our luggages & led us to our room. On our 1st night, we went out for a walk right after check in, came back to our room, found a surprise waiting for us, which was a folded towel animal with a hand written welcome note with 2 free drinks. On our 2nd & 4th night, another 2 folded towel animals waiting for us in the room again which put a smile on your faces. On our way to check out, we saw the house keeper, she proactively thanked us and asked us if we have enough water bottles, if not, she’ll bring us a couple. At the check out counter, the girl proactively asked us if everything was ok. And gave us another surprise, 2 bags of Nanjing stones for good luck. Excellent service, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Free upgrade the room. And the staffs are really helpful and nice. They provide useful information for us to visit different sightseeing spots. When my clothes got wet, the staffs help me to dry them for free!
