Everything ample; not fancy, had one bedroom oceanfronting unit: view partially over NautiCrab bar and its activities: bar quieted and closed, like many around 9PM-ish. Happy hour(s) start early in San Pedro! Note: travel was during slower pre-season month. Beach piled with sargassum - not pleasant to sit on or adjacent to. Location In NE area of town, dedicated parking area for golf cart. Food shops, restaurants and pop-up food galore- bar entertainment close-by; theres a few options. Fantastic, easy going and accomodating staff. The pool located in an open inner courtyard was reasonably quiet (considering outside street traffic), pleasantly chlorinated: refreshing disinfection. It got our use! Hopefully you arent visiting San Pedro to watch tv/cable tv; that is/was limited. Fantastic shower pressure and if you go please love on Lucy the hotel cat-(and give hommage to the neighborhood-stray visitors. Adorable!

Such a great stay in the middle of the action in San Pedro.

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bar downstairs is fun and the food was surprisingly good. The homemade deserts were exceptional. The location is very walkable. There are many bars, restaurants, and things to do nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

I thought the property was a little dated. However, I can't say enough about the amazing staff. They were attentive and extremely helpful. Adrian is the best. The food and drinks were great, not to mention the fun activities planned on site in the evening. I felt relatively safe and the location was perfect for the activities we planned to do. I wish I could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy dining and bar facilities. Walk to everything. Adrian rocks as Hotel Mgr.

Having events of some sort planned for everyday of the week. Very friendly helpful staff.

Had a great time. Being on the beach, walking distance to town, and the staff was incredible. Highly recommend !!!

The people (owner and staff) were amazing. They also arranged activities (like bingo, karaoke and crab races) to attract fun crowds. We just loved the room and everything around!

The hotel staff and owners make you feel right at home. They’ll know your names and treat you like family. Thanks for a great New Year’s Eve!

This is not a hotel for those who like room service, room cleaning or conveniences. Staff is nice, but it is old. Appliances clean on inside, but rusty on outside. Only bedroom is air conditioned. We left bedroom door open to get some air to living room. We were told not to flush toilet paper. Needless to say, it stunk in there. No maid service so make sure to throw trash out. If you need something, you’ll need to go down to registration to get it. No elevators. Pool is old and looked dirty. We went in once. No view from there. There is no beach to swim off of the property. It wasn’t completely horrible for some, but for others it could be. I would not stay here again. We did this on a whim and went by reviews that were not really true - for us anyway. I think if they put air conditioners in the rest of the room and upgraded the look of the appliances and furniture…and fix up pool area, it would make this a much better place. It can get noisy at night from the bar. They have activities….bring ear plugs. Don’t bring children to kareoke…they could get a very disgusting earful. I’m really sorry to have to give this review, but I really think people need to know. Also, all but one of us got montezumas revenge so don’t trust water, etc. in Belize. I want to say, staff was very nice.

Lots of fun events hosted by Hotel attracting friendly people.

Good value for the price. Lots to do nearby but not loud. Plenty of options for drinks, dining, entertainment. Trivia was FUN.

Mandy, the manager gets 5+ stars. She is as sweet and as accommodating as can be! The bar at the complex has a great and friendly staff with many fun activities, especially the crab races. What lacks is although the bedroom had cold air conditioning, the rest of the areas...living and kitchen were hot even with the oceanfront breeze. Our headlights got stolen off our golf cart in the parking area across the street so I am not sure since we were the only guests, what overnight security was actually doing. The pool wasnt very clean. The stairs need some dim lighting as they are very dark. The place needs a lot of aesthetic maintenance. The wifi barely worked even when the complex was not crowded. We came in from a resort in Placencia that cost less and was so much more luxurious so it was a bit disappointing. The location is one of the best on the island and I have been going for 20+ years. Overall: great service, decent accommodations, beware of parking your cart in the parking lot across the street where we were told to park, dont expect top ammenities. It is very clean, but dingy. Our oceanfront room was old, but the bed and linens were comfortable.

We stayed in one of the rooms that has a full kitchen facing the sea. The hotel is being remodeled so some of the rooms are completely refurbished. Our was not though I chose that one because of the view and breezes. Just be aware that you might end up with one of the older rooms. The manager at thos hotel is great. She helped us get a 5 gallon water jug so we didn't have to buy individual ones, helped us with laundry services, reserved space for us at the restaurant on the day of the very popular and hilarious crab races. Can't say enough about the service. The pool is in the garden courtyard which was lovely. They also have discounts at the gym across the street. The restaurant has events many nights and the food is good, staff is really friendly. The wifi is strong most of the day, only slows down during popular events at night when the restaurant is full (only for about a couple of hours or so). This is important to us since we work from our room a lot. Would definitely stay here again.

Seven Seas is a nice place to stay in Ambergris Caye. It’s ideally located on a super quaint dirt road across from the water. There are several fun bars literally across the street on piers as well as down the street. Also there are several dive shops, little stores and fruit stands for your convenience nearby. On the downside, like many Caribbean islands, the windward side of Ambergris Caye has been hit with the sargassum seaweed blooms. As fast as the locals clean it off the beach, the wind blows more right back on the beach. As this is a seasonal issue make sure to check on this before booking your trip.

Very friendly staff and owners!! They aim to please!

The owners and staff were super friendly and accommodating. Loved having the transparent kayaks to venture out on our own in. Perfect location. Close enough to town to walk easily to everything and far enough away to avoid the noise and bar busyness.

Our unit was very clean and nice. The pool was dirty and in a courtyard that rarely got sun.The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly.

This place is in a great location and has wonderful people working here. I would recommend seven seas to everyone.

We liked that we had strong Wi-Fi as we had to work while there. Roberto was very helpful and there bikes and kayaks we could use. It was a pretty good basic 2 star place to stay. The location was great; 5-minute walk from town, just far enough for it to be relaxing but close enough to everything you could want.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Seven Seas and would stay there again. Location was outstanding as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The local area is great and we enjoyed restaurants such as Sandy Toes and Palapa's. The staff is very friendly and readily accommodated our few requests. The room was clean and kept clean for us. The kitchen pots and pans are a little lacking (older aluminum and no fry pan), many aspects of the rooms is a little "tired," water pressure and hot water is lacking and shut-off at night, BUT people need to have the right expectations when visiting countries such as Belize (it's not the US - thankfully!). Such is part of the experience! This was our first visit and we enjoyed the people, the weather, the area, the food, etc. Life is much slower and much more relaxed.

Beautiful Location!! Spotless, safe, friendly and a wonderful way to relax on the beach. I’ll be going back again.

The place needs a little update. Nothing major. Ricardo was awesome. He did everything in his power to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Over all had a wonderful time. Would recommend.

Hotel was in a good location, the staff was very accommodating. My only complaint is that 3 of our 6 nights stay the water to the entire hotel was turned off during the night.

Pros: Great location in San Pedro, easy 10 minute walk to the downtown area; plenty of restaurant/bar options within this radius. Our room easily accommodated 4 people, as there was a separate bedroom. ACs work well, though noisy. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Cons: I recommend travelers staying here to exercise caution with procuring services through the front desk. The staff is very helpful to do, of course. Perhaps too helpful. While it is normal for hotels to recommend their preferred business, guests should not have to wonder who might be gaining from those relationships. In our case, the manager arranged a golf cart from Avis. Not only are their carts in poor working condition, the staff knows this, half of them wouldnt *personally* recommend them, and there have been at least 3 incidents now where the guest has fared poorly. In our case, extortion for damage we did not do. The owner of Avis paid us a visit on our last night to demand payment. The staff assured us that he would simply bribe a police officer to extract the desired sum from us by threatening to detain us. I have no doubt the cart has a lot of damage that needs to be repaired, but I am certain we did not do it.As travelers, we trust the hotel to make good recommendations. and yet... They still give them business, which raises many questions. I suggest sticking to the guide book recommendations. Saving a few dollars isnt worth it in the scheme of things.

Very nice location, lots of restaurants in the area, very nice view of the ocean, we really enjoyed setting on the balcony it was a great place to just relax. The rooms are older but clean with all the supplies you need. The biggest issue we experienced was with the shower, the water pressure was very LOW, the water pressure was not a problem with the sinks or toilet. Also, we were without water 4 or 5 times throughout our ten day stay, one night I did go and ask about the lack of water, the manager went around the side of the building and checked something and all of a sudden we had water again, he told me the city must have just turned the water back on, who knows, the final issue with the water was that sometimes when we had water we only had cold water, after I asked about the hot water the problem was corrected.

Excellent staff. Very attentive. Clean and comfy air. No water pressure on 3rd floor. No hot water at all. We got creative and heated water on the stove. Well lit beach front area close to food, restaurants, plenty of stuff to get at property (bikes, boats, grill and pool)

We stayed at the Seven Seas in Feb 2018. Our experience was excellent. The staff and the owners were outstanding. They are very engaging and helpful. They treated us like family and we felt at home. The facilities were clean and comfortable. All the amenities where just what we needed and the staff would help with anything you needed. They are great for arranging excursions and recommending places to eat and drink. The location is perfect, right on the beach within walking distance to a large number of bars and restaurants. The real standout to Seven Seas is the staff and the owners (who live on site). They are fantastic. This is a must stay on Ambergris Caye.

Loved everything about it! We will stay there again when we go back!

We stayed for 3 days in one of the suite accommodations. We had our own kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. The place appeared to be a temporary or longer term rental. It was very clean and we had housekeeping and fresh towels everyday. There were 2 AC units-one in the living space and one in the bedroom. Hotel staff were all very nice and friendly and helpful. Wifi there was not very reliable, the connection was up and down a lot. Hotel had its own pool, SUP boards, and glass bottom kayaks. My husband and I took a trip out to the reef and it was well worth it! Hotel is located right on the beach and there are a number of bar/restaurants close by along with grocery stores where we could grab stuff for snacks or to make breakfast in the room. We were very pleased with our accommodations and we would plan to stay there again in the future!
