I travel a lot for work, but seriously, this was the WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was super rude, and they hit me with a surprise resort fee of $28.87 when I arrived. We would pay it anyway as they already had our information on file but we were soaked from the rain, exhausted from the flight, and confused about the fee, but the guy at the front desk just demanded payment with zero explanation. No empathy, no nothing. Not even offering us to sit or anything. Zero customer service experience.
To make it worse, they saw how tired we were (I had a conference talk and an early morning) but still put us in the room, right under a family with kids and dogs running around all night. Oh, and the room smelled weird too. I went to the front desk to ask for help, the front desk guy was totally clueless about what was going on, and they said, "Oh, we didn’t know you wanted to sleep" What?!!!
They moved me to another floor, which was quieter (they had that room empty the whole time but basically did not care), but the fridge in that room was broken and made this awful noise all night. It was so bad we ran to another hotel the next morning. The front desk in the morning wasn’t any better—just grumpy and totally checked out, like they hated being there.
Honestly, I’m shocked this place has good reviews because it’s basically a scam. Never never again.

Unique and fun hotel. Complimentary adult beverage when you check in. Complimentary water bottle and other amenities. Great location and friendy staff.
We'll be back!

I honestly didn’t know that it was possible to hear someone in the neighboring room click off a floor lamp, adjust their window curtain or unwind toilet paper so clearly through a wall until I stayed at this hotel. Initially, I thought that the air conditioner/ wall heating unit in the room was noisy (it sounded like a cross between an army of excited mice and a grinding of metal on metal) — but then realized around 3am that once it turned off you could hear EVERYTHING for about two rooms in each direction. I’m not exactly sure how the acoustics worked here, but it was truly something extraordinary as I’ve had better soundproofing through a curtain than we experienced through these walls.
Keep in mind that in addition to the room rate, you’ll also be charged $25 in “amenities” (I’m not sure that we actually experienced whatever these were, as I’ve never had worse coffee in Seattle, and that was about the only thing that appeared for free). You’ll also be charged $25/ night for parking, which truly was the best benefit of this entire stay, as it was secure.
Although I was initially drawn in by the cute pineapple theme and good price, it absolutely wasn’t worth the lost nights sleep.

Loved the duvet and free drinks. Especially water bottle and refills. Good location, easy parking, reasonable price. For Seattle.

Great hotel, good amenities, terrible local area. Hotel has good security measures to cover it though.

Stayed here for a night during a power outage. The staff was swamped, constantly getting tons of calls from other families, and the guy who checked me in probably helped 10 other people while he was at it. He was still super fast and attentive and friendly, and I have no ida how he did it all at once, but I was very impressed!
Rooms were great, comfortable beds, good pillows, it's a pet friendly hotel and we brought our dogs. We never once heard anything from any other room while we were in ours, the soundproofing is really solid and it helped our dogs settle and all of us sleep well.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were nice and spacious. The beds were really comfy too. If my partner and I have anymore surgery/appointments at UW we'll definitely stay here again!

A nicer stay than I expected. I dropped in here for a few days at a conference. The hotel is basic but very clean and well done with nice, thoughtful touches, such as bikes you can borrow to get around town. The staff team were really nice. I'd be happy to stay again

We have been to this hotel many times. This time we could see the wear and tear on the furniture, etc. There is one small carpet under the coffee table. This is not new but I would like a large carpet under the bed. The bed is comfortable.

Not a bad hotel, but the furniture needs replacement and updated. The area did not feel very safe to walk around at night.

Great service and dog friendly. 10 minutes walk to the university

Very good location and very clean. Front desk staff friendly. Our concern was value. We were charged huge “amenity” fees for things we either didn’t use or were the type of things other hotels include in the nightly cost - for example free internet, free coffee for the in room coffee maker, etc.

Lovely room, very clean, great location but what we enjoyed the most is the welcoming atmosphere, as a family traveling with a furry integrant, it's hard sometimes to find places to stay that will take us, this place does not only accept dogs, it goes above and beyond to made them comfortable and happy, way to go, super impressed, thank you!!

The room was really nice. Can't do much about the view, but in a nicer area it would be beautiful. Don't get food from the cafe unless you want to pay 8 dollars for a 1 dollar microwavable oatmeal cup.

This place was amazing!!! We took the light rail from the airport and walked the short walk to the hotel. Lots of places to eat around there, area was a little sketchy a few streets down but it was that way by the fish market too so its just how Seattle is now. We were SO grateful for this hotel being so amazing with the most comfortable beds EVER! pineapple cookies were so good and the staff was so nice! We ended up staying here more than sight seeing bc it was so nice and comfortable! Tv had netflix and if we cruise again we would love to stay again! Very convenient location to the light rail so you dont need a car! They were super pet friendly too!

Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful answering our questions. The room is spacious and beds were clean. Every guest got complement beverages that is very comforting. The location is great for us since we planed to visit the UW that is about 15 min. walk away. Parking in the garage is gated and safe with plenty of available spots. It was a great experience staying at Staypineapple, , Watertown, University District.

It was clean and beautiful and comfortable and smelled good!

Room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of pillows. The european style duvets were nice but i would also like to have a top sheet that isnt heavy for warm nights like when we were there.
Shampoo and conditioner smelled great but the conditioner did not soften or condition my hair well.
Appreciated the water bottle and the opportunity to purchase the stuffed dog.
10.0 / 10.0
Above average. The U-district has many mentally ill homeless, however, so be forewarned.
8.0 / 10.0
Modern decor, European style bathroom fixtures, large room, bare minimum furniture, small TV, loud in-window AC. So a relatively typical hotel without many conveniences of many other places like it: everything is extra: parking, breakfast, internet… Expect to pay at least $50 extra per day on top of what you already paid at the time of the booking.

We loved how the room was set up. It was spacious and clean. We had an end room that was quiet and had a great view. Love the cookies in the lobby! The staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

We were able to check in extra early, which was fantastic because we had our luggage from the cruise and didn’t want to go anywhere with it all. The beds were so comfortable and I love all the options like the bikes, water bar, free drink, etc.
