Excellent stay!

There is only valet parking here. No self parking, much like most of the downtown Seattle hotels. Good location, easy to find. Excellent staff and service.

Great location and amenities

We disembarked at 8 am and went straight to the hotel to drop off luggages before going sightseeing in Seattle. It was too early to check but they let us have an early checkin at 9 am!
Amazing staff! At checkout Eugene even called a taxi for us! No hassle, location is great! We would stay again at Hyatt Olive 8 if we ever go back.

Room is very spacious and has been updated. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were all very low. Wish there are a few different options. The bathroom is also huge, but the door doesn't really seal because it's a barn door. A vent in the bathroom would be so much better. Overall, a decent stay in a convenient location.

Nice staff, great pool and fitness. Centrally located

Room was clean, great bedding, quiet and convenient for our activities. Only complaint was stale stuffy odor in room that could use a refreshing spray of some kind.

We had a great time. The hotel is super clean and the staff is very friendly.

Great location. Parking garage was a bit mystifying because the exit sign is centered over the entrance/exit and the valet area. Had to circle the block when realized I missed entrance thinking it exit…because of the prominent exit sign. Just FYSA.

Location was perfect. Tidal was nice to have on premises, but there was no shortage of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Close to the monorail and Pike's Place. Room was clean and had adequate amenities. Pool was extremely nice. Giving this a just OK rating because for the price, this hotel did not have a business centre or even just a computer and printer for guest use, and at times, no one would answer at the front desk or operator. As in, the phone would literally ring and ring with no answer, and this happened multiple times during daytime hours (e.g. 2 pm). I travel a lot for work and for leisure and I certainly expect more for a hotel of this caliber and cost by way of service.

This hotel was in a PERFECT location for us to explore the city of Seattle; we walked absolutely everywhere. It’s just a few blocks from the light rail station at Westlake Center, so it was super easy and direct to get there from the airport. The same building also has a monorail that goes to the Seattle Center where the Space Needle is (we walked there in about 20 min one way, then took the monorail back). Pike’s Place is about twice as far as the Westlake station, and other waterfront POIs like the aquarium, ferry terminal, and Ferris wheel are just beyond that. We even walked back from T-Mobile Park after the postgame light rail was too crowded to get on! Capitol Hill is a walkable distance too.
The hotel itself was nice, modern, and clean, as you’d expect from a Hyatt. Bed was comfy and TV had chromecast. It was one of my fastest check-in experiences, and the indoor lap pool was great, and it has one of the better and more fully featured hotel gyms I’ve seen. There’s also a convenient cafe with good coffee and bagels downstairs for a convenient breakfast, plus a full service restaurant which we didn’t try. There’s also a pizza vending machine but sadly it was out of service during our stay.
My only complaint is the bathroom door is one of those sliding ones that doesn’t quite give you full privacy.

This was a family visit celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary prior to an Alaska cruise. We had a great dinner in your fine dining room and the staff was very helpful coordinating the activities to include the receipt and serving of a giant cake baked by a local bakery. The staff was very helpful in helping us store, cut and serve the cake. We had a great experience.
4.6
Difficult check in process (computer was down, which caused a half hour delay after a long and tiring journey to get there). Bar would not open until their normal opening time despite multiple staff being available there with nothing else to do, and 10 thirsty people standing around waiting for check in to be ready. Staff seemed unhappy and not concerned about being accommodating. For such an expensive hotel, not a great experience.

Will not stay here again. Proximity to the rail system was great but did not enjoy our stay otherwise.

Hyatt at olive 8 had all the amenities you could want in a hotel, check in and out was seamless and expedient. Our room was clean and comfortable and was well appointed. Will definitely stay again with Hyatt either here or at another property

1st parking is not including
2nd they charge you $15 for pool, wifi, gym and other essential
3rd no breakfast included
That stuff should be included while staying
The Marriott rite around the Conner is the same price or less and includes all that with stay
This hotel is overpriced for no reason
