Amazing but stunk and reeked of cigarettes.

Was just what we needed for a two night stay

Very nice budget stay at Athens. Hotel seems to be old time glories and spa wibes. Room was very clean, good aircon and spacious bathroom. Location was good, bus stop very near to take you to nearest metro station. Nice breakfasts near Victoria station. Good value for your money.

Need some modernisation, but extremely cheap and good value for what you get. Metro a 10-15 min walk away, but bus stop conveniently a short walk away. Grocery stores and some decent restaurants in neighbouring areas too. Some noise late at night, but mainly from the fast food delivery scooters.

The property photos are VERY misleading and this was why I originally selected the place. Once you are there and see the poor condition of the room and broken door and jacuzzi knobs it is deceptive and should noty even be listed on this site. Lastly they are liars so I will back it by saying I hace photos to prove my point.

Lovely hotel
We stayed for 1 night inorder to view the Acropolis.
Plenty of places near to buy food and drink.
The jacuzzi room was great fun.
Would stay again

Nice hosts and not to far from the centre, dodgy at night.

Service extra.....

This hotel has a reputation for being a couples hotel, and the area it is located in leaves something to be desired. That said, the hotel itself wasnt too bad and it was near a bus stop to get into the center of Athens.

Good location. Air condition was very old and really noisy. Hotel in the middle of Athens with access to all of the city.

Close to syntagma and parliament building (5 min ride - Uber ~ 4-5 euro)
Helena at front desk was very nice, humble and helpful.

Hard mattress on floor. Drug deals outside door and approached as we exited. Not a good area...

A bit outdated hotel as expected, but overall it’s good for budget hotel. Location nearby a lot of black people gathering. You may feel uncomfortable especially at night, but it is still safe in Athens. Jacuzzi is not all function available, and a bit outdated. Reception is nice and warm to your request. Don’t call taxi through hotel as I think there should be some extra or waiting time charges. We make appointment on 6:15am, it arrived at 6:10 earlier than expected. We go down at around 6:15. Taxi charge us 12.5 euro at final destination which we expext d 5-6 euro. When we come back from the same bus station to hotel, we get taxi at station, and it is only 5 euro.

Good, clean, spacious, modern friendly hotel with easy access to centre. good wifi

It was a pleasant experience. Small and cosy room, with some dysfunctions. The TV cable has only 3 international channels (TV5, BBC, DW) and I think that a tourist from another country wishes to watch some different channels in english, like music channels, sport channels or documentary channels. It would be better if is a small fridge in the room, event the price for day will be more expensive.

Great staff, clean room, well priced and close to very convenient restaurants and bars, will certainly go there again

Very nice rooms for a good rate. Pretty far out of the city but in a nice area. Only issue was a mixup about smoking/nonsmoking rooms. But a great place to stay, highly recommended.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Comfort and well decorated rooms.

Rooms stank of smoke and seemed to be more of a pay by the hour type place

Only stayed one night, but staff helpful and friendly

The Exis Boutique Hotel is located in a busy multicultural neighborhood of Athens. There are lots of shops of various kinds located in the area. There are plenty of transportation options, buses, taxis, ....to get around during your stay.
The hotel is very boutique with a very comfortable room size and space. I felt welcomed by the staff everyday.
This was a great stay!

Choose a location near the city center. Metro was too far, nothing on this crowded street. Wouldn't stay here again. Only thing good was the nice desk person and housekeeper.

This hotel feels like it was sliced from a 4 star hotel. The public areas were very clean and pleasant. The room was comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They each spoke very clear English and seemed genuinely interested in being helpful.

Helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast, near everything

Excellent hotel. BIG room with everything I needed. Comfortable bed. The staff are phenomenally courteous. The only thing I didn't like was the neighborhood. Lots of immigrants around from Africa and Middle East spoiling the atmosphere. Maybe it is safe, but I wouldn't risk walking around alone at night.

The room was quite adequate for our needs, the bed was good and firm, breakfast was delivered to the room, and the people at the desk were very helpful in helping us connect with a taxi driver to take us to the airport.
The neighborhood was a bit noisy at night, but not overly so; it did not keep us from sleeping. However, we did see that a demonstration was planned for the next weekend right next to the hotel. Obviously, there is nothing the hotel can do about that.
We found a great little restaurant (Spitiko) about three blocks away that had great food and surprisingly large portions for very affordable prices.
The only negative was that, even though there were only two of us, we had signed up for a triple room that had a king size bed (that was the only room available online). When we got there, we found out there was a double room with a queen size bed available, so that is what we took. But when we checked out, they wanted to charge us for the triple room rate, saying they had to charge us according to the online reservation. Fortunately, they were understanding of the situation and gave us our breakfasts for free, which made up for the extra amount paid for the room.

Worth the money and pretty convenient location. Friendly staff but facilities need some improvement such as stronger wifi and room conditions. Overall value for money

Excellent value as far as price and cleanliness is concerned, but I had to climb over two women sitting on entry steps who neither moved, nor responded to my greetings, each time I entered or left the hotel. My husband, Ronald, made the booking which was to have been for us both, but he was unable to travel so I occupied the room alone. The taxi driver (as others have reported here) told me not to leave the hotel after dark. Probably good advice, but the area was no worse than other similar neighbourhoods worldwide; one must simply be cautious.
Although it was called a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarettes in the bedding was very strong.
The young man on duty when I arrived, Vangelis, was extremely courteous and most helpful, so I have no complaints about the staff.
Distance to the Metro was not an issue for me as I was to continue my journey by K-tel bus. The bus station is a few minutes away by taxi - very convenient.
