Great place!

Tamara and Kevin are amazing hosts! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, between the clean and comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and engaging and responsive staff. I'll be back to explore more of the Blue Ridge Parkway and I'll definitely include a return stay on the Skyline Village Inn.

We will be back for sure! They literally thought of everything you could ever need or want! The game room was awesome & the views were amazing. Loved the patios & terraces too. They did a beautiful job on the renovations too. Pet friendly was a bonus too. My dog felt like he was at home lol.

very nicely maintained property with super pleasant checkin staff and nice attached convenient restaurant and bar. very clean and cozy. Someone upstairs from us was nosey with the sound of moving furniture and our in room a-c was a bit noisy but otherwise great place to stay.

While an older building, it has been nicely done by the owners and provides a great view of the mountians. There was very little shelf, or table top space in the room and none in the bathroom.

Staying at Skyline Village Inn felt like discovering a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The rooms combined classic elegance with all the modern amenities you need, and the view was absolutely stunning. The on-site restaurant was delicious for dinner and breakfast. The bottle shop offered a selection of wines and beers, perfect for enjoying on your balcony or the hotel’s cozy game room. Such a charming space, ideal for unwinding with a drink, featuring comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to kick back or play a game of pool. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Their warmth and genuine care made my stay feel incredibly personal and welcoming. They were always ready with a smile and helpful tips, making me feel right at home. For anyone looking for a getaway that combines historical charm with modern amenities, Skyline Village Inn is a wonderful choice. It’s a place where you can relax, enjoy great food and drinks, and feel right at home.

We immediately realized this is a place that has been loved and cared for for decades. We felt very comfortable in the homely, cozy atmosphere. Spectacular and beautiful view of the mountain landscape.

Inn is right off the Blue Ridge parkway. Check-in had to be done between 3 to 6 was easy. Property has a restaurant, a gift shop and a play room with pool table. We had a 2 queen bed facing the valley. It has a door to a shared balcony with Adirondack chairs. Individual air conditioning for each room. Room had wood floors and wood paneling to half way up walls. Room has dresser with 40" TV and a good size refrigerator. The sink is in the room. Shower and toilet in closet. Thick towels provided.

One of the cutest of places to stay, very clean, great view, great people, great for riders. Tamara was awesome. Absolutely loved it!

The view is fantastic. The hotel was built in the 1940's there is parking in front that is a little close to the roadway and also a parking lot behind the building. The on property managers are great. They are warm, welcoming, and over the top in customer service. There is a restaurant on the first floor for meals. The hotel was clean and the rooms were large. The bedding was soft and there was a bonus body pillow as a pleasant surprise.

We had a wonderful stay and this will be our go to place when traveling south! Tam made us feel so welcome and was so accommodating for our family. Breakfast was laid back and delicious. The view is breathtaking!

Tamara and Kevin were extremely pleasant and accommodating. She went as far as setting up a bike wash station and really understanding her customers. Everything was amazing from the views to the accommodations. Tamara really went out of her way to make sure every guest had the perfect stay.

We loved the managers, so friendly and helpful! The room was rustic with a great view. Very comfortable bed. The game room was well stocked with coffee, tea, ice, tables and games. There is a nice outdoor space as well. Since there is not an elevator, staying on the 3rd floor is the best because that is where you park, so you don’t have to carry your suitcases up or down the stairs.
Everything was super clean, the only thing that was tricky was the shower😁

The hotel was better than I had anticipated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, my room was perfect for my needs. And the view of the mountains made me wanna stay there forever

5 stars for amazing view and great staff! This is a quirky, boutique style hotel hanging off the side of the mountain. It is a bit makeshift with an unusual layout and every room layout different. We stayed in 304 and it was incredible. I wouldn't stay here during a hurricane because of chance of landslide on highway out front.

This is a great option if you are headed to this area! I was unfortunately not able to spend as much time as I was just passing through but from the guest service to the game room I was very pleased! Already looking to plan out a trip where I can come and stay for a few days and stay at Skyline!

The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, the beds luxurious, and the shower excellent. I loved the outdoor balconies with comfortable chairs to view the mountains and valley and the sunset. And the game room is a super bonus! Pool table, darts, board games, as well as a big TV and arm chairs.
One drawback: the lighting. The room is well-lit with two lovely overhead lamps, a bedside lamp, and wall lighting behind the beds. The issue is that if you flip the light switch that controls the overhead and wall lighting, the one bedside lamp looks like a camp lamp in a cave. Also, when all light are out, it is pitch black. Not great if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We ended up leaving the bathroom light on with the door mostly shut so we could find our way in the dark. Not a huge problem.
The property managers were extremely friendly, helpful, and gracious. We had great conversations both at check-in and at breakfast. They definitely made our stay at the Inn much more pleasurable.
