Facilities are tired and not confident that there wont be mistakes made with requests

Wonderful stay. We stayed here for 6 nights total. Arrived at 3am on the first night and were checked into our room asap. Rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic and there were lots of places to sit down and sunbathe or have a few drinks. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.

The property is conveniently situated within a walkable distance of Avarua. We couldn’t get a continuous booking in one room for the week as we booked at short notice. Initially we were supposed to win an ocean view room but were lead to a garden room facing the main road. Queried why and told the other rooms had been double booked! Heard of a few others that this happened to. We did get a credit etc. so the week was pretty good. Staff are generally very friendly and restaurant food at a good standard.

I had a lovely stay with club raro, staff attentive and friendly, good food. Pool area is lovely, great view and a swim up bar. The rooms are basic and a little tired, but clean and tidy.

Club Raro is a great place to stay! Close to town, excellent restaurant, beautiful view and pretty gardens. Staff very friendly. We didn’t get in the pool as we thought it could have been cleaner.
Recommend this place.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was well priced and good quality. Very relaxing to stay easy to get around the island from there.

The staff and food was amazing.

Nice quiet place to relax. A pleasant enough place to stay. Staff were helpful and thoughtful.
Unfortunately their booking system is unreliable. The room we had booked, an ocean view room, was not available for us! We were not told this when we checked in, but were lead to another room out the back facing the main road. It was not until we got there and re-checked our booking that we noticed. I immediately went to reception to ask for an explanation as the price difference was around $100/night. We were told that there were no booked rooms were available. I did get some compensation, however we also spoke to and heard that at least 5 other couples had the same experience of being taken to another room and not the reserved ‘ocean view’ room.

The staff were friendly and accomadating but the resort was tired and old.

Enjoyed the staff and the great food at the restaurant. It would be nice to have a little gift shop for small purchases and some guest activities. We had a nice vacation at Club Raro!

Great food cocktails nice staff room whales passing by will be back for sure.

Very good location and setting. Staff friendly and helpful. Local bus picks up and drops off at front of resort. WIFI not free which is disappointing as it's an essential service. Only 1 TV channel in room so cable option would be handy as well. Swimming pool temperature was very cold even on warm days so not very useful.

I didn’t like having to pay for wifi as the other places I stayed at all offered free wifi but everything else was great! Such a beautiful hotel.

Resort is fine and has all the facilities that you need. Staff are mostly very friendly and helpful. Restaurant food is good and reasonably priced. Rooms: Our room (Apartment) was spacious and well equipped. Shower was good. Housekeeping was good. On the down side, there is virtually no soundproofing between rooms and even normal conversations (or snoring) can be heard from neighbouring rooms so no chance of sleeping until they all go to bed. Location: We found that there was always a strong onshore wind on this side of the island (July) compared to the side, and a stoney beach (not sand) which was not as ideal for beach lounging or snorkeling. All in all it was still a nice stay and if you consider the pros and cons and what is important to you, then this is still ok value for money.

we stayed in the self contained garden room, situated at the back of the pool villas, good spot was much quieter than around pool area. room was ok could do with a bit of a update. Funny vibe at this hotel, staff didn't seem very happy and only did the minimum of what is needed.
Was a cheaper place to stay on Raro and fine if you wanted to spend most of your time elsewhere around the island. Its beach isn't very good and quite windy.
Food very average at best
We were overcharged on our card, which we questioned the following week when we returned from Aituutaki, management said it was an error and would refund amount.. 2 mths later haven't seen it.

Lovely place to stay, but could still do with completing the renovations
It didn't bother us too much as we where in paradise
Our daughter stayed in the ocean front rooms and they need to be deep cleaned because of mould, wash or replace the curtains

The staff is very friendly. The rooms need a huge refurbishment, they are CLEAN and COMFORTABLE, but they just don;t look well. The pool is like you are taking the ice bucket challenge! It is extremely COLD!! The tropical breakfast is packed with CAN FRUIT!! in a tropical island! The almonds are great. The breakfast for the price of a room is very poor.

Great for the price. Staff are very friendly, especially Mere in housekeeping who took extra great care of us.

Great location, clean room and really great customer service!
