I cannot stress how much we absolutely loved this hotel. We had a small but comfortable room with a shared bathroom (there were 2 in the hall) and while I initially was anxious about that, not once did we ever feel like it was shared. The staff keeps the hotel and bathrooms INCREDIBLY clean; you don’t even get the feeling that there are others staying there. The location is also incredible - everything is within 15 mins walking. We will certainly be back!

Great location for sites, in city center, could walk everywhere!

Extremely good location for enjoying everything in Florence. Lovely hosts. Old building. Large comfortable room, but no air conditioning and the fan wasn’t quite adequate for the heat.

Amazingly close to the Duomo and incredibly low price. Sure, it’s no Five Star but the price and location could not be beat. It even had free parking!

I enjoyed staying in this hotel. It was as I expected given the price I paid and the location. This is a small hotel in a traditional Italian building, right in the centre of the tourist area of Florence. I stayed in Mid Oct, so heat wasnt a problem, however I can see that Florence would be a nightmare in July heat wise. The weather was great (about 25 degrees) and I would recommend visiting Florence out of season unless you love being very hot! The lift worked fine. I appreciated the fridge and kettle in the room (and access to a freezer in the communal areas) The whole place was spotless and they had 2 very clean and up to date bathrooms. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The only downside for me was that I accidentally tripped the electrics in my room late at night. however I just went to bed and got the cleaner to sort it out in the morning! However, at least I know the electrics are safe! One thing about the area that you might find helpful, the Carrefour express opposite the hotel is very expensive, however there is another about 3 minutes walk away which is much cheaper. I cant remember the name, however I found it on google easily.

Great staff and location. Its a budget based walk-up (there is an elevator but?) very close to the Duomo Square. Community bathrooms and no A/C. I would stay here again, in the cooler months.

Great place in the centre of Florence. Thankfully Marco was available to direct us to the private courtyard for parking (tight entrance glad we had a small car). We were in the private apartment just round the corner from the main hotel, there were some sewage smells from the alley behind but we were out exploring a lot and had a lovely stay.

The location was great! Marco and the rest of the staff were very helpful with information and services. Our room was a little tight on space but still quite adequate for our needs. The artwork was pleasing, too.

We were upgraded from a room to an apartment with two bedrooms, living room and full kitchen in a nearby building. Location was great, quiet and only a few mins walk to the main sights.

It had friendly staff, but staff only present for a few hours per day. The breakfast was small but decent. The hotel was in walking distance of major sites and train station. It had access to mass transit.Problems were that most rooms lacked bath and one had to use keys on both sides of room door.

Hotel Dali is a nice, centrally-located hotel about 5 minutes away from Il Duomo walking. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a nice and friendly attendant who promptly checked us in and got us set up. The room had a bed for two, a small tv, a small table with breakfast items, a small fan, and a sink in the corner. There was no AC but at night we would keep the window open and the small fan running to keep the temperature down. August in Firenze is really hot. There are two shared bathrooms in the hotel. Each of the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. They provided a refreshing cold shower whenever we needed.

Good location and easy access to the famous spots, but not recommended to those who care privacy or room temperature control, because most rooms have to share public bathroom and only air fan is available in the room, no AC to be used for hot seasons

Florence is the hottest city in Italy. I knew there was no AC in the rooms of this hotel, but I didn’t expect that there will be heat wave in June. Their fans were really weak and not useful.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to stay here in Summer (maybe it’s delightful in other seasons), especially you can predict when will be heat waves. Besides, the wifi was really weak and slow.

It is really too hot. We spent 4 nights here and almost couldn't fall asleep. The beds are so hot. No air conditioner. Fan didn't help much. Not an good choice for family. Suggest not to chose this hotel in Summer. You can have many better solutions than this.

Hotel Dali was an affordable base for my stay in Florence and was convenient to all sites I wanted to see. The staff was very helpful and kept the hotel very clean. It's not the newest place, but is so much more affordable than most places in the area.

The location is really fantastic. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. Although the bathrooms are narrow and the rooms do not have air conditioning, there are drawbacks, but it is nevertheless a very good hotel.

The stay for us was amazing. There was bit of misunderstanding about twin bed. But the person at reception was very helpful and resolved it without any additional charges. Appreciate the help!! Thanks. Located perfectly the hotel was a great place to stay. Service was amazing. Definitely recommend for family..

Excellent location next to Duomo. Staff was extremely helpful with recommendations- Uffizi at 8am, Academia at 5pm. Directed us to great areas with local personality -wonderful Concetta bar called Enoteca on Borgo la Croce.

Our fist experience was the cute Victorian lift which just held 3 people but worked perfectly throughout out stay. working on reception was the most helpful man presumed to be the owner he went to great lengths to mark out a map of where we were, and the walking distance to all the main attractions of the city. Our room was delightful overlooking a large courtyard planted with trees and shrubs. The double glazed windows had shutters to insulate the room and provide a dark room at night. Our spacious room contained a very large double bed, sink ,fridge ,coffee and tea making facilities with a basket containing croissants butter and jam enough for a modest breakfast .Plenty of room with high ceiling with a built in fan, ample plugs and sockets.Outside our room there was a large fridge freezer and a microwave for our use.only a couple of yards away from a shower bathroom .Sharing was never a problem.when you step out of the hotel into the street, you are only 100 yards from the magnificent cathedral and opposite a friendly reasonably priced restaurant with excellent service and local recipe food. The staff were ,more than helpful lending us crockery ,booking coach tours ,great room service

I'm amazed that Expedia don't tell you that all rooms are on third floor and no elevator, they don't fix your room and the rate is comparable to other much better hotels.

Amazing stay in Florence. We got moved into the Dali apartment and it was exactly what we needed to have our own space but still be in such a central location in Florence (we walked everywhere). Very helpful tips & advice on how to see Florence when we checked in too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
