Train rail is very close and noisy.. Room was oldish, but bathroom was renovated

Great place to stay, clean, comfortable and with character.

I booked this room because of the good reviews I read. It was a mistake. It was old, dirty, and very noisy from the hwy right near to it. The bathroom floor was very dirty. I wiped it down with a wet washcloth which turned dark brown. There was no blow dryer in the room either. When I called they said there were no blow dryers. Very disappointing.

It is a very nice old motel. Excellent for the price. The rooms have been upgraded and comfortable. I think because of the age it would be cool to paint the outside in retro colors.

This is a very old property but it was clean. Bathroom very small and very old. Towels and bath rug very small and thin.

This is a retro hotel on old Route 66. It’s basic, clean, reasonably quiet (train runs on other side of the highway), & safe. Good for one or two night stay. Beds are comfortable, comfy pillows, good shower, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, & decent ac. Again, there are NO frills so if you need that stay somewhere else & don’t complain about it.
After being cooped up in a car all day, we enjoy a walk. It’s about half a mile to restaurants from the hotel. It’s Well lit, good sidewalk & the staff says safe. We’ve done that a couple times & enjoyed it.

The price was amazingly low so, of course, we were a bit suspect but the rating was okay & it was a convenient location for a quick overnight stay. Turns out, it was excellent. Bare bones but extremely clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, & we could walk to a nice area for restaurants. That was a plus after a long day in the car. All in all, Ramblin’ Rose is just what we were looking for for a convenient, safe , & restful
stay with a bit of nostalgia thrown in.

More like the rambling staff than rambling rose…stark, hot and dated… great place to hold up with a cheap ho, some burner phones a bag of clean blow and a bottle of Jack for a few days

Wonderful traditional property. Clean and comfortable and within walking distance of Downtown Kingman. Incredible friendly owners would recommend and stay here again.

It's nostalgic to get an actual key on the room tag chain. The beds were comfortable after a long drive when all you wanted to do was put on your pajamas and close your eyes after your head hit the pillow. It had an old-world motel feel without breaking the bank. There was no pool, but that's because it was filled in. Pools are expensive to maintain. Close by to Mr. Dz 50's dinner for brunch with an easy hop, skip, and jump to the tourist attraction: old locomotive steam engine for the kiddies, Kingman Az Rte 66 Powerhouse Museum, Rte 66 selfie drive thru.

Very nice for an older motel. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent price. Close to great restaurants, Dambar Steakhouse and Rutherford for breakfast.

Clean room with nice bathroom. I would stay there again.

Quaint older motel. Nice check in staff. Weak Wi-Fi. The water was hot but difficult to get cool water. The carpets in room could use a deep cleaning (feet were extremely dirty walking on it). Replacing carpet would probably be best at this point. Not a bad stay for the price

The staff were very friendly and nice. I guess it can't be helped that the air conditioner is noisy.

Clean, well organized and right on the highway. The owners are a nice older couple who have maintained the property very well.

I got in quite late, but the clerk was very accommodating.

Upgraded our room to King bed, nice touch. Friendly owners!

Solid value for an apparently 'independent' property -- clean, comfortable, not to difficult to find, a bit away from I40, but worth it for a comfortable clean stay.

Beware of this place the lady who answered the door was rude and did not want to give us our key to the room just because we came at 4:00 am we are traveling! She closed the door and my face and said goodbye!

Amazing bathroom looks like they put a lot into the shower great stay.. however the WiFi was absolutely horrible I could pull the gps up till I got closer to i40

It's a fine property. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was clean and recently redone.

Even though I am Marriott Elite traveler I rated this hotel five star because it was such a good value for money.. I just needed a place to sleep on my drive from Scottsdale to Vegas and this was perfect for just a sleep. Did not mind that the bathroom was very, very basic because the room was clean.

Adorable motel in a good location. Fantastic, friendly staff.

They definitely need to invest more into their pillows. All 3 were flat and not comfortable.

My stay was a pit stop before continuing to las vegas. My son loved that it was fresh.

The Rose was a perfect stop off along our road trip. It was clean and cute. The couple who owned it were kind and accomodating and have been running the Rose for 30 years. You can tell they take pride in their property. And affordable sweet spot!

Lovely spacious room! A bit retro.
Very comfortable bed.
Couldn’t ask for anything more!
Loved it!!

Would recommend. Clean room, friendly staff, reception was a nice guy. Had a little chat, very personable. Hotel is a no frills, basic room, comfortable and clean. Only downside would be two queens, we’re doubles. Not an issue for us at all. If your looking for basic no frills economical this is a great place to stay.

We always try and stay in a roadside motel versus a chain. Our only issue here was no coffee maker in the room. When traveling, a cup of coffee in the morning is a must.

Nice people running this motel. Motel is orderly and clean.

The Ramblin' Rose property was basic yet inviting. We enjoyed our 1-night stay there. It was clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom. The hotel was bustling with guests and felt safe. It's conveniently located. We would stay here again!

Andrew okay motel. Coffee and ice bucket bags were missing from the room, but quickly provided after a trip to reception.
Unfortunately overnight train noise was not condusive to a good night's sleep.

Outside of the building, walkways & parking areas super clean & neet. The rooms have newer metal doors & double payne vinyl windows. Rooms/baths have been renovated updated. Good sized rooms dont feel cramped even with 2 queen beds. The room & bath had a fresh scent & were super clean. Check in was easy & friendly. There is a train track across from the motel but the double payne windows help muffle the sound. My first stay but would definately return again.

Staff is very professional, helpful and kind. Room is dated but very clean. Price value is excellent for a one night stay over. Everything about this place is great except for the crazy Trains that run all night. Hubby slept well since he is deaf without his hearing aids. I didn’t fair as well.
