The amenities is the main reason I stay here. The Spa and Aquatic area are wonderful. I have been to other locations in the area & always run into a few hot spring tubs out of service & or just not enough staffing to maintain, but this location is good. I have never ran into shutdowns and they keep up their property. The hotel rooms are good not the best but they are good enough to sleep and rest in. When I go to this property I don't spend anytime in the room so just the fact that the room is clean and convininet is good for me. The area is safe and the amenities are top notch.

I was not expecting to pay more money to have access to a room for my mother an 83 year old woman who can't go upstairs. I was very disappointed to have to pay extra money for having a guest with disabilities.

Started out great staff was friendly I had an extra person that was 15 when I checked in and the person at night didn’t have an extra bracelet or knew how to get one so he told me to pay when I checkout for the person since I was only staying 1 night. Well the next day from morning till whatever time they did not stop bothering me I couldn’t enjoy my stay. They called me to the counter while I was swimming so I was all wet. They told me about the extra person and I explained to them. Then they said ok just have them come up and get a bracelet and you can pay when you leave. I’m like ok so I go get them and then they say actually you have to pay now so go get your wallet. And I’m like you just told me I could pay at checkout. Anyways I had to go to my room through the lobby without a shirt soaked to get money. I would stay again but it was to expensive for the room you get a room without ac and the outlets short circuit. The staff was very indecisive and I was unable to have a good since I had to stand in the lobby soaked for a long time.

What I didnt like was the room: It was not worth the more than $100 U.S. a night that I paid. While the spa is luxurious -- the best that Ive ever visited -- one can access the spa fo;r just $15 a day per person if one is not a hotel guest. One gets in free as a hotel guest, but that doesnt make up for the plain room that one gets. For the room price, I expect luxury in Mexico and have gotten that elsewhere at much less cost. Yes, you get a balcony with a view of the hot pools and lake. However, locals say better rooms and a view of the lake are available in other hotels just minutes away. I also didnt appreciate having to bring to reception at checkout my towels, washcloths and television channel changer in order to get back the required $200 peso deposit on them. Enjoy the spa but stay elsewhere unless you have more than 2 people in the room. Otherwise, its not worth it..

Several thermal pools, a couple of natural saunas, swimming pools, water slides for the kids.Caferiatiera style restaurants ,all of which close early in the evening.Very crowded weekends but as this a spacious facility no problem here.Older rooms very clean.Easy bus, taxi access to Ajijic and Chapala. You can come here for a daily entrance fee of 285 pesos (adults) to use most of the facilities without staying here.In this case bring your own towels.

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing place. There are six jacuzzis: oatmeal, bougainvillea petals, apple cider vinegar, coffee, soy milk, etc. Then you immerse yourself in mud, dry by the lake, go through a last pool and finally get a fabulous massage.

Great view to the Chapala lake, Termal waters are fantastic. If you don't go in car, be prepared to take buses to Chapala and to get there, but it worth it!

DO NOT STAY I plan my trip thinking this was one of the best places to stay but I was very wrong. The room was dirty as soon as I put my bags down I was itching and found bed bugs on 2 beds I had my boyfriend spend half of the nite getting the bugs out of our bed. They also dnt tell you that theres a fee of 300 pesos when u check in. I was there on a weekend and found no parking close by. The pools were crowded with people and dirty. I asked what was the earliest time they open the water slides and pools for the next day to try to avoid the crowds according to them it's 9 am however they did not open until 12pm I was very dissapointed. Eveb though i complaint I was not able to get any reimbursement. For the price it's the worth the stay.

Cheap hotel, very outdated. NO A/C Very muggy even at night. Was allowed only 1 bath bar & 1 wash cloth per room even thought there were 2 adults staying. The grounds and pool areas were well maintained. Almost no chance of parking after the hundreds of day spa guests arrived. No phone in room. Very few of staff spoke English although most staff tried to help. Will NOT go back here, nor recommend this place!

Different site from the more tuiristic places, very pleasant area and the weather was fantastic. One dissapointing point was that restaurants did not open early and there was not a place to get a cup of coffe before 9:00am.
The staff can be a bit friendly.
Had a great experience and like the place

Hotel was great, all the way from the rooms to the swimming pools......the only thing is that customer service from all of their employees needs to get enforced. They weren't to friendly and sometimes all they needed was just a little smile, but other than that the hotel was great.

If you really want to rest of everything, this is the place. Staff are great and will help and hear you. It is a family place, so is great to go with your children. The rooms are big enough for two adults and two children.
