If you love yourself you wont stay here. Got here at night so we did not see how dirty the jacuzzi was. The receptionist could use a personality and… I don’t know… be WELCOMING. The bed was the ABSOLUTE worst mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep in. This is our fault for even staying the night. We came in through our bags down and went out to eat. Came back, jumped on bed and almost broke myself, the mattress was no different from slabs of wood. My husband could not even sleep on it. He tried to sleep on the couch. We had booked for 2 nights. At first light my husband packed up all the bags and said “we’re leaving”. The owner was zero help and kept saying that Mexicans are used to those mattresses. That’s funny cuz my hubby and I come from a small Colombian village where we wouldn’t even let our animals sleep on the floor without some cushion. The owner didn’t want to cancel our stay and refund our $ so we went back to Guadalajara. Now I cannot convince my husband to ever stay in Ajijic.

The grounds and the views are amazing. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and made to order. The walk to downtown area was easy and enjoyable. Our jacuzzi in the room never worked and the internet could be sporadic but it wasn’t a huge deal. I recommend it for sure.

This was our first visit to Ajijic. Hotel Lindo makes a great base for exploration. It is up a short hill from the center of the village, so there is some walking, but also a view. The staff was nice, and if you at least try speaking Spanish, they are quite accommodating. Each room is different, so look at the listing carefully before booking. We usually avoid hotel breakfasts, but breakfast here is quite good, and included.

Had a wonderful stay… My boyfriend and I stayed at the bed and breakfast and were treated like royalty. The staff or more than accommodating, and went out of their way to assist us in travel activities

We loved our stay here and the staff was great. The breakfast was perfect with many choices.
The only thing lacking was a handrail on at least one side of the main stairs going from the parking to the office. My wife has a hard time with stairs now and a handrail helps her tremendously.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Loved the staff. Always ready to help. Only problem, no hot water the three days we were there. Other than that, everything excellent.

The stay was great; but staff disappears and toiletries need to be replenished regularly. Other than that the breakfast are amazing and delicious !!

The Hotel Lindo is a beautiful property and one of the few places in Ajijic that has air conditioning. We are told most days of the year, AC is not needed, but it was unseasonably hot when we were there. We also greatly enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi at night. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. The only thing to note is that the address on the Hotels.com listing is not correct. The hotel is actually one block further west and we had to search for it on Google maps to find the correct location. Once we found it, we were rewarding with wonderful views of both Lake Chapala and the mountains behind it.

Our trip was a week-long and all I could say was WOW! The service was beyond excellent. Rooms #8 and room #4 were perfect for our family. The pool was clean and the jacuzzi in our room (#8) was great! The AC unit in room #4 needed maintenance and it was quickly taken care of. Lupita and her staff in the front lobby were the best of the best. We cannot wait to go back.

Our first visit to Ajijic was a wonderful experience thanks to the Hotel Lindo. Great location , just up the hill enough to be walkable and afford memorable views each morning as we enjoy a hearty , healthy breakfast made to order. The grounds are well landscaped adding to the overall serenity. Everything is super clean and well maintained. The staff are personable, professional and competent. Walkable to the Village Square where you can find your wants and needs. With over 400 restaurants, Ajijic has something for everyone.

I love Hotel Lindo Ajijic, with this past week I was perhaps the only person on property and they gave the worst room on site. It has a window that was obstructed and directly above the office. I heard the phone ring every time someone called. I just wish they had given me a different room... When I checked in I was so tired I didn't even realize or I would have asked to be changed. With that said they are nice people (Spanish speaking, if that is an issue) and I will continue to stay here because of the location etc. Nice property but do not get room 5 or you'll regret it. I just can't believe they put me there knowing that I was the only guest in the hotel all week.

On Expedia it appeared as a family space, (yes to children and no to pets) Upon arrival they told us that they did not accept children but that they would do us the favor of letting us stay this time since we arrived late. We felt totally unwelcome. The hotel has great potential, but there's construction in site and the rooms are full of bugs and spiders webs.

Nice location. Surprisingly quiet for in town. Close to everything. Room is as nice. Restful environment. Our room (#4) had two balconies with nice lake views. Pretty at night. Pleasant Spanish speaking staff. Good breakfast. Only negative was I was so looking forward to sitting in the hot tub in morning before heading out for day, but it wasn’t warm enough to enjoy.

Lovely, quaint hotel. Easy walking to French restaurant. Great to have the bnb service to get the day going. Perfect small hotel for a quiet weekend.

It's a nice property in the heart of Ajijic. Nice pool, TV and AC. Two issues though -- the shower design was such that it was almost impossible to get hot water and although we paid for "full breakfast," it was only available between the hours of 8:30 and 11 which made it hard to take advantage.

Really nice hotel and walking distance to the Ajijic Malecon.
