A friend and I were in Independence for a concert, so we chose this hotel because it was close to the venue. I'm so glad we stayed here! Not only was it very close to the venue, this was a really nice hotel. We really liked not having to waste money eating out since they provided a nice selection for our evening meal, and then they had a nice selection for breakfast the next morning. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. It was everything we could have asked for.

Excellent place to stay in KC. The staff were great the food was good as were the complimentary drinks. You could tell they were struggling a bit from being understaffed but they were handling with grace and did a good job. Hopefully the management and company will be able to add more staff.

This is a great hotel -- from the condition of the building and rooms to the lovely staff, this is such an inviting place! Our king room was very comfortable, especially the bed, with ample space to move around. Even tho we had a room that faced the interstate, the room was very quiet and we slept so well we missed breakfast! Planning to be back in just a couple of weeks for another stay.

Well worth the price. Excellent service. Only thing they can improve on is the the pool and hot tub were very cloudy and not very appealing.

The room looked great and it was clean. The bed was way too soft. Neither one of us could sleep and our backs were killing us. One of the elevators was not working when we were leaving the next morning and everyone had the big carts taking up most of the room on the elevator. We ended up going down the stairs and we were on the fifth floor. That wasn’t very easy with our stuff.

Was a secure, clean, friendly place to stay. Was quiet and the breakfast was pretty good for a buffet style. I always appreciate interacting with nice people. Oh, and the beds were actually comfortable! Thank you!

First time at a Drury Inn. In town for a funeral. Chose this hotel because of location. The staff was very nice. Free munchies and drinks every evening is a nice touch you don't get at many places. Only downside to this particular hotel was only one elevator was working, so was always a long wait. Will definitely look for this brand for future travel

Spacious rooms and fun pool for the kids. Breakfast offered a variety of options. Wasn’t super impressed with room cleanliness. Found dog hair in the bed and human hair in the bathtub.

The room was clean. Bed I was comfortable . Towels could be better. The best feature at this hotel was free nice breakfast and free nice afternoon snacks/meals. If you have big family with lots of kids, I strongly recommend this hotel. It’s way worth it!! Kid friendly environment. We will stay there again!

Aside from the holiday fireworks in the parking lot and the surrounding area, the room was so comfortable and quiet. We definitely want to come back again. The fireworks were out of control of the hotel so we didn’t complain to the hotel staff. If you stay here for more than 2 nights you may want to ask for an extra side chair to sit and read/watch tv. Otherwise you will be on the bed a lot more than you would normally want. 2 adults equals two identical chairs.

Drury might be our favorite hotel. Arrived in KC after a 12 hour drive. Just in time for “Kick Back” time… appetizers and drinks. Which means dinner and drinks. And the room, a suite, is perfect for us. Nice hotel right off I-70. And breakfast to boot. Staff was great too. Couldn’t be better.

The staff was incredible from the Kick-Back (which is more a full meal then just appetizers) to the Amazing breakfast! The moment that stood out most though was when a staff member came into the pool section (about 8pm) and started handing out popsicles to all the kids!! It was so incredible kind and just another reason to always go with this hotel when in town!!

My experience at this hotel was AMAZING! It was close to Arrow Head stadium. We were there for Monster Jam weekend! When we got back to the hotel for the night my son had an emergency and we called 911. We spent the night in the ER with him. We called the hotel and just amazing care they gave my family. Berna thank you for being so kind and helpful. You have no idea how much I was at ease knowing I didn’t have to worry about anything with the room. They also have an amazing breakfast bar. They had biscuits and gravy which my son loves. You guys made our weekend. Thank you so much!!

This was a great stay! We were stopping to get rest on a long 18 hour trip and we were not disappointed at all. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and we got cookies and icecream before bed! Everyone was so nice, we absolutely loved Asia she took great care of us. =)

The one and only issue we had was someone stealing the license plate from our car. It’s a nice clean facility and we had a very comfortable room.
