The people we saw on arrival were very friendly and the room was generally clean. My only feedback is that the bathroom needs a shelf as there was nowhere to put toiletries, the shower gel/shampoo was empty as I found after I had got into the shower which, was a little annoying, there were a few patches of black mould around the shower which, needs removing and the dividing walls between the rooms need acoustic insulation as we could hear every word from the room next door especially as they had no consideration for others at 8am in the morning! Location is great and with those niggles resolved, the experience would be greatly improved. Still worth a stay as the location is great for Anfield.

Fantastic place to stay right down the street from Anfield. Great staff and cozy bar. The rooms are updated and very nice.

Awesome hotel! Would definitely stay there again. The owner was very kind and went out of his way to take care of us!

Our stay started off not knowing where to check in, there was Boone around and Boone in the bar we noticed there was a party going on and we found the owner who did check us in.
The hotel was nothing like the picture on hotels.com the front was full of recycling bins and some building materials it didn’t bother us but the pic was misleading…I’m assuming the pic was of the garden at the back.
Our room was basic, 2 cups between 4 people, no toilet roll and the shower was either freezing cold or burn your skin off no inbetween. Still this wasn’t an issue as we’re pretty flexible and it’s a bed to get a good night sleep at the end of the day.
As mentioned there was a party going on, which u could hear a little bit but was pretty much unheard once the tv was put on that was until 11:30pm when the party came inside honest it was so loud it sounded like they were in our room!!! Shouting signing stomping about on the landing singing happy birthday screaming belting out songs until 1:30am is not acceptable! We did hear someone knock on the door and assumed they’d told them to keep it down as it did go quiet for about 10 mins after that but it soon went really loud again. Luckily my 2 children were knackered and slept through most of the noise, me on the other hand heard it all.
We left the property early this morning as we couldn’t stay any longer the beds were so uncomfortable and lumpy and there was nothing to do and nowhere to eat. We went and had breakfast elsewhere

2 min walk from the stadium! 👍

Stayed here as we were booked to do the Anfield tour. The room was fine for an overnight stay after a long drive. The owner was great and very accommodating, and I would recommend the hotel and I can only imagine the atmosphere on a match day!

Average. Joe the manager was a really nice guy.

Hotel was lovely, staff are very friendly and approachable, easy and convenient to the city centre. Will be coming back in the summer.

I would say it’s an average 3 star hotel. Needs works. Kettle covered in dust and just 2 open teabags left in a cup for a family of 4. No shower gel in dispenser, rusty toilet roll holder, keys to front door of property didn’t work. The walls had large areas of scuffed paint as though a bed had been repositioned. The carpet, as you go upstairs needed a good vacuum. Host was always available and welcoming. Allowed us to leave our vehicle in the car park after check out whilst we visited the Anfield Stadium which is literally at the end of the road from hotel.

Was nice place only thing annoying was when doors closing the mirrors on walls in room rattled every time which woke us up every time.

The room was nice and the staff were wonderful. We arrived late so we went straight to bed. The next morning as we were leaving the hotel manager told us all about the home and its history and gave us a tour. Parking was very easy - right in front of the property.

It really wasn’t what was advertised, we were given a different room than we booked Only 1 member of staff on duty somewhere, couldn’t use facilities because no one there to serve. Couldn’t turn the heated rail off in bathroom. For the price they charged it was terrible, expected more going by the reading of it. Walls had holes in them, bed springs were coming through the bed. I wouldn’t stay there again.

From all the hotels I’ve stayed in around Liverpool for games and weekends away this has been the best.

Will definitely be back again!

We arrived an hour before check in time and was told we could go straight to the room as it was ready. The man who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel had free parking, it was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, we slept very well. In the room you are provided with tea, coffee, milk, a hairdryer and an iron. The hotel is within a couple of minutes walk to LFC stadium and an hour walk to the city centre shops/tourist attractions. We twice got a cab from Albert docks and it cost £8.60 each time.

Very clean and quiet

Loft room was very noisy during the rain overnight. LFC game was on that evening, so hotel was crowded with lots of unpleasant noise until even after 11pm. Receptionist was a happy person greeted us on the door upon arrival. Shower was nice and hot.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel Ainfield. It was so close to the stadium which is why we chose it. The decor was subtle and we stopped in the master suite which had massive high ceilings and a sunken bath. Will definitely stay here again

Very easy access to all what you look for for a stay when attending a football match.

On arrival we found two big parties taking place. We couldn’t find anyone so we could check in. When we eventually checked in we then couldn’t have a drink or food because of the private parties taking over the entire place. This is definitely not a hotel it’s more like a bed and breakfast place. We had no choice but to stay in our rooms the entire evening because we couldn’t get food or drink. Having spent one of my vouchers on booking this and being a regular customer on hotel.com I would hope the decent thing would be done and return my voucher to my account

The bathroom sink was tiny for the size of the bathroom and for 3 people. It splashed everywhere when washing hands.

Had a lovely stay, beautiful room extremely clean. Friendly staff helped us straight away and got us checked in and up to our room.

Great location when staying in Liverpool for a game at Anfield. Was disappointed we had to check out of our room after the first night and re check in for the second night. This was because I had made two seperate one night bookings a couple of months earlier. Seemed crazy the hotel couldn't put us in a room for two nights. But understanding it was New Years Eve and New Years day.

Fantastic little hotel and right beside the stadium. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you . Would highly recommend as a place to stay when at the football

Very friendly reception and staff always willing to help. The property is an old victorian property that has been tastefully decorated and we were delighted to see that the original cornices etc had been preserved. We had a large room with a modern en suite with a large shower and the bedding was very comfortable. With its location very near to Ansfield stadium, the hotel is geared to a football clientele. We had suggested minor tweeks that would suit a more varied custom which were acknowledged. On the downside for us, all the suites were on the upper floors but there was no lift or position for one to be placed. This is impractical for anybody disabled as we both are. We stated that we would have been happy to have stayed there again but this problem would stop us. On arriving home, our view has altered. On inspection of our bank account, we noticed that we had been charged for the agreed cost by Hotel Anfield but, in addition, we had been charged twice more for the same amount (one on arrival the other on departure)by a different company (Happy Days Hospitality), which turns out is also owned by one of the hotels owners. We have been unable to make any contact with the hotel (being attended only by a security guard). Tomorrow we shall be contacting. the bank to discover why they have processed two unauthorised payments and also a second attempt to contact the hotel for an explanation. Needless to say, our experience with this hotel has soured.

Excellent place to stay for a match at Anfield or just to enjoy the excitement on match day. Great set up in back with the band and a bunch of places to sit and see the screens. Staff were super helpful and attentive. Would definitely come again.

We had a lovely stay here, hosts were very accommodating. Room 4 was clean and warm. Only issue was lack of sockets in the room. Other then that it had everything you need. The hotel is literally a stones throw away from anfield stadium which is even better if your going to see a match or stadium tour.

As we were doing the stadium tour it was a good choice hotel to stay at.
