Travelocity screwed up this reservation and despite my immediate and repeated attempts to correct this, you failed. I made a 1 night reservation for this hotel for the night of Nov 1st. Moments later you sent me a confirmation for{and that I paaid} for 9 nights From 10/27 to 11/4. I immediately sent texts and called to correct and point out you error. You never got back to me or corrected.

We loved Ortigia. Much to see in Syracusa. Very old City. Had been there before and wanted to see it again, 10 years later. Restaurants, shopping, historic sights and our favorite, beautiful buildings, everywhere, very good ones. Our host, Giovanni, was extremely professional and accommodating. The small hotel, I believe 6 rooms, was just beautifully restored, Great location at the easterly side of the island. Really was an ideal place to stay to see Ortigia from. Would definitely send friends and return again.
Keep in mind things slow down at the end of October, many places close. A little cooler by then too. Good parking is about 15 min. walk (very nice walk), from the hotel. You may need to drop bags and return or get a lift from parking to hotel.
Also, Expedia does not share your information with the hotel, so because it is small, it would be good to reach out directly to the hotel so you can establish communication. It would help Giovanni to help you.

The owner Giovanni is delightful and so is the entire staff who serve breakfast. Love the location and it’s intimate size.
The only suggestion I have is that the bedroom furniture could be a bit more ample— bedside tables, etc.
Our room was at the 3rd level with a big terrace looking out to other charming buildings.

Great location and helpful staff. Nice little touches in the room like magnified make-up mirror in the bathroom and coffee machine in the bedroom. Great breakfast with view across to Teatro Massimo.

Amazing hotel, location, service. Only two v minor criticisms- a little noisy downstairs (doors could do with double/triple glazing) and pillows could be softer. Overall great

LOVE this place!!! 5 star all the way... modern, like a boutique hotel, spotless clean and the owner is amazing at making sure his guests are taken care of. Beautiful top floor breakfasts area with loads of food and fresh cappuccino. Rooms are sleek and large. Ours had a balcony which since the rooms have a fridge you can sit out and drink your own cold Prossecco after a long day exploring. Location is ideal, close to market, town and all sites and shopping, can walk everywhere. We will defiantly be returning, a paradise in Ortega. Thank you so VERy much!!
