sehr gute Lage, für einen kurzen Städtetrip
die Betten waren mir persönlich zu hoch!

Good location for a wedding I was attending- very clean. The housekeeping staff were very friendly
Very very small double room - even claustrophobic- no natural light in the room I was in - a window in the bathroom which was opening up onto high rise buildings/ you couldn’t even see the sky ! Had to have the light on it was more like a cell!
3.0
Great location!
The room was pretty uncomfortable, there was barely any space between the door and the bed. The bathroom was pretty ok. there was humidity on the roof and the tiles of the bathroom… needs some maintenance

Rooms are perfect clean, bathrooms are super. Staff is great and so is location.
Rooms are a little bit small and beds could be longer, but it is aceptable.

small room, no breakfast, personel not welcoming (learn to smile )

Excellent location but google maps took us on a very circuitous route from Liverpool street when it's actually really close and straightforward. Lovely staff, nice and clean . Ground floor room but not too noisy. Great shower. Overall good value.
No air conditioning but 2 fans provided. Couldn't open a window. The room was small but as described on the site.

Proximity to work
The toilet extractor did t work so a slight stuffy smell

As a returning guest - i loved the place when I discovered it and always look to see if it is free if i am going to London. A short walk from Liverpool St or Tower Hill and in the heart of the city right next to The Gherkin. It is a gem in the middle of all the high rise buildings of the city near St Mary Axe church. Great wifi, had the best sleep in the bed - so comfortable, bathroom fresh and modern, spotlessly clean and even though they don't serve food they give you tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits and cupcakes for each person in the fridge. if you want food you can call Uber Eats but just over the road is M&S food hall and you can keep it your food in the fridge until you need it. Also they give you a bottle of water each. I haven't been here for a while but it was great to return and see the quality and rooms is still at a high standard and everything was just as I remembered it. I will be back again for sure. Great for overnight or long weekends stays
Really tough but just so I there is some balance - some people may find the rooms a little small - with the bed there is not a lot of room before the bathroom wall. Maybe an extra bin in the room as the only bin was by the toilet. The windows have sound proofing but you do hear some residual noise from building construction but that stops by late afternoon
However, saying this I am being picky .... from comfort, cleanliness, location and set up - they have done a great job creating such modern, fresh rooms in a historic building. Not much room in the wardrobe if on a long stay nor drawers, except small ones in the bedside tables - but this has obviously been done to keep it less cluttered

The staff were polite and the shower was very nice
The room was very very small. Too small really (302). The lift was broken and the general decor around the hotel was shabby.

I think it'd be fair to write that the standard room is at basement level.
Moreover, I'm pretty sure I lost my home key in the hotel room after checkout and had to ask twice to check. They finally state there was nothing.

proximity to Liverpool Street was the only thing.
the Economy double room should not be advertised for two people. I paid a ridiculous price for this room, not realising what I was getting and then had to pay a further £25 to change to a normal double - which on the day I could have got for £67 less than I’d paid the the economy double. we are very, very disappointed customers and will not stay here again. also unlikely to use Booking.com again because of this experience.

Lovely little hotel nestled away in a little courtyard. Lovely staff, clean room, comfy bed and snacks and water in the fridge in the room at no extra charge.
My only negative if I had to say one was that the rooms are small and bathrooms are tiny. If you are a larger person carrying a little extra weight I can’t imagine it would be easy to use the toilet and get into the shower with the door the way it is.
3.5
This was in a great location as it was just a couple of minutes walk from my office. I was surprised by the size of the room (it was 'pocket sized') but the facilities were well thought through and I particularly liked the shower. I will definitely stay here again if I need to do a one or two night stay
Although this was a double room, it was really suitable for only one person. I think it would be claustraphobic for two so would recommend upgrading.

Location excellent, very comfortable and excellent shower.

The reason of the overall bad rating is that I woke up at 3.40am in the morning when a guest urinated against my hotel room door. There was no number on how to reach the reception desk. Besides anyone sentence apology when I checked out there was nothing more coming from the staff.

A great shower, really powerful with a choice of hand held and overhead. Bottled water in fridge was a welcome touch.
Units in room were a bit dated and showed some wear and tear.
Pillows on bed were too small and only 2 provided, most hotels have 4 for a couple.
5.0
it’s always warm, very clean bed sheets and bathroom with hot shower
nothing you get what you pay for, it’s in a busy location so can be noisy at night but it is located on a main road so is to be expected
3.0
location
no bedside table or bedside lamp
