Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception and bars were all helpful and friendly. Don't be put off by the one pool barman who never smiles - he's just serious about his job! (just make sure to wear your bathing cap....). There was a guitarist singing at the pool bar during one night of our visit which was a highlight for us. I would definitely return and stay here again.

This site is very well situated for Siena. Its restaurant is excellent. The staff are friendly. The cabins were fine except the mattresses were old and sagged in the middle !

Just a short drive outside of the city, convenient for visiting tourists. The on site restaurant and bar are good value and were busy, even out of the season. The accommodation was clean and to a reasonable standard. Was also very quiet so we had a good nights sleep!

The complex was pleasing, clean and easy to find. The personnel at the reception was very friendly and competent (she could speak fluently German and English).
Very disappointing was the extra fee of €10 for the air condition. The prices in both the restaurant and the market were a little too high.

A good stay for the price! The camping site is well located, very clean, and the services and amenities were great. As were the restaurant, café, and mini-mart. The staff were very helpful, polite and kind. The only issue I had was that there was no cooking facility with my trailer. I was under the impression that I might have a small kitchenette and be able to prepare food. Other than that, I would go back again!

Everything was ok. The only "but" was the moving of our house, it was attached to our neighbpur so everytime we moved a little, we felt it, so it was weird

We had a good stay at Camping Colleverde. We had booked a "cabin". It was small, but was clean and had a good shower, and okay sized bathroom.
The restaurant at the camping was surprisingly good. We ate there several nights, and enjoyed every meal.
The staff at the camping was very service minded, and helped us when it came to bus tickets, directions and so on.
The pool was a very nice. Nice and clean. And it had a pool bar with snacks and drinks.
The city is not too far away. The bus leaves just minutes from the camping. The bus drivers drive really fast, so hold on! Buy tickets at the camping.
Only "negative" side was that I thought that the cabin came with a ceiling fan, but it didn't. So there was no fan. We walked and bought a floor fan from Coop down the street. It saved us from the heat of the night. So I recommend maybe bringing a fan! We left our fan at the camping, so there is at least one extra fan at the camping now.
We had a great stay, and would stay here again! :D

We had an amazing experience at the beautiful camping Colleverde. Nature, fresh air, quiet place to relax after a long day in the city or after a day trip. Friendly helpful staff, clean amenities, would stay again!

We stayed in a 1 room cabin with a bathroom for €30 a night. The heater worked well as long as you were sensible and didnt leave the window open or anything stupid like that. The beds were comfortable, it had a good sized fridge, it was quiet, and only a short walk down a windy road to a large supermarket and/or the train station. The walk into town from here might be a bit long for some but for us ~4km was easy so we walked in and back each day and had no transport costs. The only criticism Id give these cabins is that they have no ventilation in the bathroom besides a small window you cam only just crack open, so when you had a shower youd step out into a steamy room and after 30secs you needed another shower again from sweating in the heat - but if you planned ahead to leave the doors and windows open Im sure this problem would be eliminated. Nice cosy place to stay :)

We found Camping Siena Colleverde pleasant. The swimming pool was great and very clean. Location very good, close to Siena city center by bus. We stayed in a bungalow, which was neat and clean. Criticism; there is no communal cooking area at all, for people staying in bungalows without a kitchen. The shower temperature varied between steaming hot and cold.

We stayed in 4 campsites and around 11 hotels on our European trip. This was the worst accommodation on a campsite (but it isn't bad), but in fairness they do warn you of the short coming, but could be good for you, just be certain before booking.
This is interesting accommodation, essentially a mobile home (so metal, i think) divided down the middle. In your half you get a bedroom (with fridge) and a bathroom. The other half is a mirror of your accommodation.
Outside you get small space with a table and two chairs.
The accommodation was clean and well prepared and in many ways is like a hotel room.
As you can imagine mobile homes are a little flimsy. Our first night was fine, as we were the only people in the caravan, however on the second day we got neighbours. You could hear every word they said, as it was Spanish, we couldn't understand it, they weren't particularly quiet. Even if they were you can hear them using the washroom! and they didn't realise they had door handles that help shut the doors. Plus when they moved around the caravan juddered.
On the plus side the campsite had a good restaurant and is very handy for the lovely City of Siena.
For us, we would not stay again, I could not imagine spending more than 1/2 days in this type of accommodation (shared mobile home). I think the site has other types of accommodation and would give them a spin if we went back as the site is very pleasant.

Camping Collevedre is a great place for people with their own tent or camper. The cabins are not so good value for money, although they are very neat and clean. Camping is really well maintained with nice, clean bathrooms and and a lot of greenery around. The only fault is the localization - an hour walk to the heart of Siena.
