Our stay at 1906 Lodge was for celebration of my birthday. The room was clean and comfortable. The sink in the bathroom drained very slow of which I didn't inform management till checkout to avoid maintenance during our stay. The spa tub had two out of six jets working and one jet that worked intermittently. It would have been a perfect stay with perfect memories if the spa tub worked as it should have. Unfortunately, we have the memories that the spa tub didn't work as we anticipated.

This was the PERFECT spot to stay for our trip to Coronado! Great location, very nice neighborhood & convenient to restaurants, shopping & the beach. Rooms are so nice & clean and the courtyard is simply wonderful! We will definitely stay at 1906 Lodge on our next trip out!

1. Well kept small property with very limited service. Generally good staff. However, one of the staff member, Carla, was very nasty and rude when requested a day in advance for 30 min extra stay from 11 am to 1130 am check out. She veryvrudely said if you stay a minute extra, I will charge you. She simply ruined our stay. 2. At the time of booking, property was displayed fully refundable and with breakfast. However, when we received confirmation, it indicated non-refundable and 'No breakfast'. It was a misrepresentated and will find hard to trust them next time.

The property was nice, however the manager was horrible! I booked & paid for the reservation for ourselves & friends. When we arrived our friends were given a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room while we were given probably the worst room at the lodge. When I brought this to the attention of the manager she absolutely refused to compensate us any way & simply said your friends were lucky. In my opinion this policy is completely inappropriate & her attitude was unbelievably rude! I will never return!

Lovely hotel and staff. Great location. Good breakfast and enjoy the happy hour snacks too. The bed was very comfortable. The room needed one maintenance thing taken care of and staff were on top of it. We have stayed here before and will do so in the future again.

The room was large, craftsman style and well-maintained. It was well-appointed with a huge jacuzzi bathtub, nice big shower and separate sitting area. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful and quiet. We did the happy hour one evening near their fountain which was nice. It came with a snack plate of mixed nuts, club crackers and dip and grapes. The one thing that was surprisingly substandard given how wonderful the Lodge is is their breakfast. My experience in B&B's is that most strive to provide a breakfast that is at least somewhat nice. Unfortunately the Lodge's were barely edible. The first morning it was a soggy, tasteless egg bake containing mostly chewy, soggy hash browns. The second morning was two small soggy pancakes and a lemon bar. We skipped the breakfast the third morning. Overall, it is a great place.

The location is perfect for walking and biking. The staff are very accommodating and even allowed us to use bikes and other amenities after we checked out. We will be back.

Stay at the 1906 Lodge on Coronado. You can walk everywhere. They let you borrow bikes free for 2 hours. There are beach chairs and boogie boards too. If you find parking on the street it’s free parking. They cook a nice breakfast every morning which is included as well as a free happy hour from 4-5 with beer, wine and hors d’oeudres. Cute boutique hotel.

Amazing B&B, walking distance to beach and many restaurants and shopping (and yoga classes and massages). Complimentary breakfast, happy hour, bikes, beach chairs and towels. Will definitely return!

The check in and check out was flawless, the room was awesome, we had a nice stay. I would like to mention the door was not locking properly, the staff member that came to check the reason why it would not lock stated she would have maintenance come look at it, but well Coronado is a safe place. That was an odd response, and it was a bit of a hassle to make sure the door did lock , it was a faulty electronic issue (I believe) and did not leave me feeling all that wonderful for the safety of my belongings. The jacuzzi bathtub did not work, and the ac went out for a bit.. We did contact the desk regarding the ac , a woman came promptly and attempted to fix.. The problem did rectify itself about an hour later... over all I loved the stay and the staff!! I am in hopes this review will prompt the few issues to be corrected. These few issues will not deter me from staying there again... just an fyi...

We stayed here over Father’s Day weekend and had a lovely experience. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing and the staff is friendly and accommodating. A delicious breakfast is served each morning from 8-9:30 and a happy hour tasting in the evening. The garden rooms are spacious and are equipped with a fireplace and refrigerator. The bathroom comes with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub, which I made use of each evening. Lots of restaurants, shopping and the Hotel Del and the beach are all within walking distance. If you want to venture out further, the trolley stop is nearby, as well, and will take you over the bridge into the various parts of San Diego. We were quite comfortable here and plan to return for a future getaway.

Another amazing stay at the 1906 Lodge. My favorite place to stay on Coronado. Convenient, quiet location. Excellent staff from the front office, breakfast/happy hour servers and housekeeping. The breakfast is excellent and the room was immaculate. Don’t hesitate to book if visiting Coronado.

Excellent boutique hotel. Loved the scale of it, close enough to the beach - beautiful neighborhood. The staff is excellent, friendly, helpful and accommodating!!! I will return soon. Very cute place.
