Staff were lovely. Stored medication in refrigerator. Helped us get Ubers and the correct Ecobus which stops right outside the hotel and goes up the hill to the university for two euros per person. The suites are between a great restaurant, Don Taska, and a delicious gelateria. Would return in a heartbeat! Obrigada!

Very close to Santa Clara Bridge and Coimbra historic city centre, about 5 min. walking. You can park nearby, public parking either paid or free parking on the street beside "Portugal dos Pequenitos". Staff was correct and polite, we'd suggest to improve or a bit more variety on the breakfast, otherwise everything was good considering the location and service provided.

The room was large and clean. The bathroom was rather tiny and tight. The bed was comfortable. They only have double beds at the hotels and I think it's a missed opportunity as the rooms are quite large and can easily accommodate executive double or king. The room did miss few key items such as a coffee machine and safe. The room also didn't have any water bottles of cups.

We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was as spacious as it was luxurious. We had a very comfortable king sized bed, heat and air conditioning, full kitchen and living room. An added bonus was the washing machine! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was very good. There is a lovely patio in the back where you can enjoy breakfast in warm weather. The property also includes a common area that looked quite inviting. We peaked into a double room that we had originally booked and while obviously smaller, it looked very inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed several days. Staff are very pleasant & helpful and speak English. Hotel location excellent for seeing Coimbra! Bus stop right outside the door including the bus to take you to the University which is on top of a very, very steep hill! Loved that there were very good restaurants literally just outside the door to the hotel! Breakfast is exceptional!!

The best part of staying here we’re the wonderful staff from the front desk to the dining area. All very kind and helpful. plus the terrific breakfasts. Rooms kind of cramped but worth the inexpensive price. Also good location.

Staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we were here during the end-of-May graduation celebrations. Very loud music until 4:00AM. Otherwise I think a very good choice. Parking is free, but a walk from the hotel. Keep in mind the sounds from close rooms is very evident. Superior room bathroom has a tiny sink. No refrigerator.

From outside we could not see the potential of this little great hotel. First, reception event late night was very friendly. Second, the room: spacious, clean, renewed, comfort. Third, location- it is about $6-8 Uber to top central area(university). And lastly, breakfast worth a lot!!! Very fair price for a delicious fresh continental breakfast. We visited the city on a Sunday before Christmas so we We’re only guests for the breakfast Monday morning. Anyway they made us a banquet!

Good, clean tourist hotel. Decent breakfast. Most tourist sites in Coimbra can be reached by foot. The hotel consists (as far as I could see) of two separate buildings, connected on the ground floor. The second floor (for US-readers the third floor) could only be reached via the stairs, as only the 'second' building has an elevator.

The hotel was an older property but it was clean and the staff was amazing! Great location near good food and easy to get transportation. I felt safe and was able to totally enjoy my solo trip abroad!

Suggest additional instructions on how to check in would be helpful such as park car at one of many parking facilities and walk to hotel. Breakfast was good. View is not what is pictured on property sales page. Good location.
