Amazing hotel. Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location, especially for trips (literally across the road). Lovely room. We asked if we could possibly have a room on a higher floor with a nice view and we were given just that and it was wonderful. Could’ve looked at the view all day. Breakfast was also the best selection and quality we have ever had. Also given little treats like chocolates, gingerbread heart biscuits and glogg. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in Tromsø. Beautiful views from the hotel. The location couldn’t be better, everything was within walking distance! Very good breakfast as well.

Stay at Clarion the Edge was nice, with pretty wide range of breakfast (very limited vegetarian options). One day cleaning team missed to clean our room but on speaking to reception they were quick to provide the service. All in all 4 stars for the overall stay.

We had such a lovely stay at The Edge. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central to lots of different activities, a great place to base yourself from in Tromsø. The breakfasts were amazing.

This hotel had the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had - the omelette station was to die for! But it was a huge spread and everything was fresh and delicious. The rooms were super comfy and had a fridge - no microwave or any way to heat up food, so only take back things to keep cold. There was a concert there one night we stayed and the place was packed with drunk folks, but they had security to keep everyone inline. We went to the bar on the 11th floor and it was nice, but nothing too crazy. The only negative was not only no free parking, but zero parking whatsoever. We had to park in a tunnel like a 10 minute walk away which was not ideal, but that's the only drawback.

We booked one of the corner rooms like pictured and it was pretty much as pictured with the exception of their are drapes that pull over the windows so not completely glass view all the way around. The room was good with a good view with a couple of little issues, one the AC didn't really work well enough, it was September and warmer than usual, and so we opened the windows but that caused a noisy wind tunnel and there was some street noise. As many others mentioned not much storage space but we typically do not unpack things from our suitcase except to hang jackets so unless you are staying a long time shouldn't be a problem. Also, the shower had a rainhead and a handheld, but the handheld didn't adjust up and down on a rod like many so when you tried to use it as attached to the rod it sprayed on the door and water got all over the floor. The shower was also not fully enclosed and small so any shower you ended up with water on the floor. Like many hotels the bathroom was too dim. The location was great and walkable to everything we wanted to do. The staff were nice and helpful. I would stay there again due to the location and view of the room. The breakfast, which was included, was great.

Hotel was clean and very up to date. However, there were only a few towels and no wash cloths in the bathroom. No mat for the bathroom floor which got wet from the shower door that is only a partial door. No water bottles either which we expected after being on a cruise ship. Otherwise, the hotel was very comfortable.

We liked that we could use public transportation to the hotel from the airport. The hotel location was only a block away from the bus stop. The hotel room was comfortable and the Bar at the top of the hotel was great. We ate dinner at The Social the evening we arrived. It was late so we just ordered a pizza, but it was delicious. The second night we tried to eat there again but we forgot to make reservations and it was full so we walked a short distance from the hotel entrance and found many restaurants to choose from.

Room was great. Check in staff was super. Wonderful location. However, there was a day, when I only ate at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner. 2 hours after eating dinner the stomach cramps started and I was in the bathroom constantly. I was on a midnight cruise that evening and it made it hard to enjoy it. I know what food poisoning feels like and that’s what I had. I was told they checked with the restaurant and I did not get anything from them. I felt like I was being called a liar. The contamination could have occurred with the hamburger meat or the lettuce or other means. When I checked out this morning the attending staff member dismissed me by arguing with me that it was not possible I got sick from the restaurant. I did not appreciate that.
