Nice hotel away from the city. Excellent staff.

This hotel is a few kms. away from the city center. Hence, quiet except for some noisy guests. Public transport from the hotel is quite limited, I would recommend using the network transport system. I had a good sleep in my two nights stay, and noticed that the surrounding started to stir at around 8:30 am. I had the misfortune of staying in a room across a family with a couple of restive children. The children chose to play in the hallway. The noise entered the room as if my door was open.
The staff were courteous and accommodating. I hope management can do something for the front door guard who I noticed, was on post from Friday to Sunday. Although, looking tired and haggard, he remained very polite and alert.
Anyway, the hotel offers good value for the money. Complimentary breakfast was a choice from several plated meals with coffee. The room and toilet was clean and spacious. No hair dryer. Available oral kit, slippers, sky cable tv on a 20 something inch screen??? fridge with 2 bottled water (free) and kettle. Bring your own 3-1 coffee and sweetener. Ample closet space and plenty of drawers.
I would recommend this hotel, especially, if you have private transport.
This hotel reminded me of what Baguio was like in the 80's. NO traffic, hilly, very quiet, cold and breezy at night, friendly people and the occasional dog walking around.

The Gardenville Hotel was great and was very guest oriented. We were only there for two days, but it should have been longer. It was a good stopping point before driving on to Sagada and Bonoc. Bob E, California.

Hotel is clean but noisy as walls and doors are thin and you can hear everything that goes on the corridors . Had to change room since someone was singing so loudly in a nearby room
But the hotel is ok overall and good for those who want to be in the outskirts of Baguio where it is much more quiet and less busy . Nice view over the mountain from the hotel . You need a car to stay in this hotel which is a little far from restaurants and thus like

I planned a last minute trip to Baguio and the only acclamation for a family of 8 was the Gardenville Hotel. The hotel is located a few miles away from the city center, so it's a pain getting there with the traffic. The hotel is located in a gated community so I felt very safe and the staff is very friendly.
