Beautiful old home, warm & welcoming. We stayed in off season so restaurant & bar closed but staff accommodated drinks & take away for us. Breakfast was available so ate in restaurant then checked out without any issues. Comfortable bed and spacious room & bathroom. Had a very enjoyable stay thanks to staff!

Neat old historic property on the banks of a small river. Ample and easy parking. Desk and dining staff was great. Breakfast was in abundance. Condition of the guest room carpets would be the only drawback.

Uncomfortable bed, no water in room, generally poor decor. I fail to see how this could be classified 4*
