Beautiful and very intentional touches bringing the vibrancy of the Yucatan into every corner of this bed and breakfast. A delicious breakfast, clean pool, and excellent location. The staff and owners are very attentive and happy to engage with their guests!

Casa Del Maya is an excellent choice! The employees are extremely friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the area. They helped us find some of the nicest restaurants to visit around town, and even helped us order a taxi when checking out totally recommended. Not to mention they’re exquisite breakfast; they have amazing, genuine & absolutely delicious Yucatán dishes served hot and ready every morning! I will definitely be returning soon and recommending this hidden gem to others God bless!

Absolutely delightful property for a trip to Mérida! We rented the casita which is a separate space next door to the main Casa Del Maya (where breakfast is served and the other rooms are), the private pool was heavenly and much bigger/deeper than expected. AC worked well, as did the fridge/freezer, so this place provided much sweet relief from the heat and humidity. Was very nice having the kitchen to boil water so we didn't have to buy a ton of bottled water. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom does not have a door between the bedroom and bathroom - not a problem, just good to be aware of. The beds were comfy, service was exceptional, massages (around the block at Casa Oasis) were worth every penny, and breakfast was delicious. Parking is on the street outside the property, nothing officially designated but we never had an issue finding a spot right outside the door. Owners were responsive and very pleasant. The upstairs room is accessed by a metal spiral staircase outside with a lovely view of the whole property. Lots of amazing restaurants, shops, and parks within ~10min walking.

We spent ten wonderful days in the oasis known as Casa del Maya. It was our first trip to Yucatan Mexico and the beautiful colonial city of Merida. Upon our arrival, we asked Arun, the manager of the property, for a local guide. He introduced us to Carlos who is bilingual and offers tours. George and Sarah, the owners of Casa del Maya were delightful hosts. It felt like family our entire visit. Arun’s nieces made beautiful breakfasts every morning with local fruit and hearty servings of eggs and chorizo and homemade tortillas. There is absolutely nothing more we could have asked for our stay. We will visit again soon.

Overall our stay was a delightful experience. The lovely garden with the small pool offered a welcomed respite from the intense heat of the day. Our room was great but would have been better had there been a mini fridge.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Mérida. We were taking a chance on the location as Casa del Maya didn't appear to be in one of the more central areas of town (at least from what we could see on the map) but it's close to everything. There were shops and restaurants right around the corner and some of the major plazas were just a short walk away. Everyone out on the streets was respectful and polite and we felt very safe as 3 women traveling together. As for the hotel itself, it is small and incredibly quiet and intimate. The owners stop by regularly and the manager and some staff are around all day for anything you might need. A HUGE thank you to Aarón, who helped us with everything from minor details to arranging transport and excursions. He and his colleagues are a wealth of knowledge, and incredibly kind and patient. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and the property is beautiful and a nice reprieve from the busy streets. We really felt we were at home during our stay and were sad to leave. The breakfast is also quite good! Highly recommend.

Property very well taken off , warm and friendly staff. Nice traditional deco and beautiful tropical garden. It is nice to have different breakfast each day . Just only wish the breakfast serving time ends later than 9, but understand it is not easy ask for boutique operation. Slept good, sheets are comfy and clean.

We loved our stay at Casa del Maya. The owners and staff were so kind and accommodating the entire time, really going above and beyond to help us feel relaxed and comfortable. The B&B itself is so charming and has such a nice mellow vibe. It’s in a great location, very clean and the breakfasts were all delicious and healthy! We stayed in the Casita and my kids loved having a private pool to swim in. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. No joke, Casa del Maya was one of my favorite stays anywhere and perfect for our family on our first visit to Mérida. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Casa del Maya is a dream. The staff are kind and attentive, the space is an oasis, and the location is unbeatable. The room is impeccably clean and breakfast is delicious. I participated in a yoga class and it was relaxing and fun. Truly a gem of a retreat in the incredible city of Mérida. Thanks for an awesome stay! We had a wonderful stay in the casita apartment which is right next door to the main hotel. Aron, our host was fantastic and so helpful with car rentals and transport to the airport. Breakfast every day was delicious and we loved swimming in the private pool each afternoon. We were sad when it was time to leave this amazing B&B!

First off the owners, George and Sarah, have chill and positive vibes and were gracious hosts. The Casa grounds are beautiful and serene with lush tropical plants that allow you to submerse in the beauty of nature, an oasis if you will. Sarah’s recommendation for fun entertainment were spot on! We enjoyed the jazz spot and the late night market with good food and live entertainment nearby. Casa Del Maya’s location is safe and perfect for exploring the many barrios within Merida centro. There were abundant restaurants, shops, and cultural activities around. I got my 10,000 steps daily with ease! The breakfast prepared by the wonderful mujeres are authentic and delicious! Do not miss out on the fresh cinnamon rolls offered daily! Aaron and staff ensured a clean and relaxing experience, always helpful and attentive. Finally, the event offered during the end of our stay elevated my total experience, sending me forth with peace, enlightenment and self love. A truly remarkable experience!

The accommodations, breakfast and attention to detail, e.g. providing beach towels and bags for excursions as well as bug repellent and umbrellas for comfort. Property grounds were beautiful and lush with plantings, and the location was convenient to parks, historical area, restaurants and shops.
