My only problem was I had given credit card info to make the reserve. They did not honor the rate so I had to return to the booking over the internet. It was offered at the lower rate yet the management would not give me that low rate. I did book for 800 pesos less. A real hassel. But it a beautiful place and nice toom. Netflix was slow.

We had a lovely stay at Delfina. The staff was kind and helpful. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained and cozy. The only thing that we found a bit off was that they have a minimum allowance for breakfast. They then proceed to charge for every possible item, including milk for coffee. This felt like being nickled and dimed. My suggestion to the manager was that they either not include breakfast or simply charge more and allow guests to order whatever they want.....like every other hotel. It wasn't a deal-breaker though. We would return to the Delfina in the future.

I loved all the attention we had from the staff. I really liked the atmosphere compared to a big Hotel. I would love to go back!

At first glance, the property is simply beautiful. Set in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, Delfina really shines. When we arrived, two staff members met us outside and brought in our luggage which was sanitized and carted to our room. Once inside, we were greeted warmly and with refreshing drinks. The hotel staff are simply lovely! They upgraded our room, made recommendations for places to visit and helped us book reservations at local restaurants. They even went as far as to organize a full day's tour to Uxmal with a local taxi driver, Alejandro Pinto, who speaks English and was an amazing tour guide. On the day of our tour, the hotel staff graciously packed us towels and sunscreen for our trip to Cenote Mucuyche. There was a great selection of delicious breakfast at the hotel however not many choices for lunch and dinner. We ordered food from a local restaurant and the hotel staff delivered it to our room on a platter. The staff also helped us organize our covid test; we literally took the test in the comfort of our room and the results was sent to our phone. The hotel itself is beautiful, had lots of natural light and foliage. Very instagram worthy hotel. Our room was well sanitized and maintained. We wished our stay was longer but we plan to return to Merida and stay at Delfina.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful and made our stay away from home more like I’d like to become accustomed. Enrique absolutely makes this place with his attention to details that individualize your stay but all other staff were awesome. We felt like special high end guests.

The hotel appears to be a converted mansion built in the 1920s - 1930s if I were to guess. So, basically it is like having your own mansion with plenty of courteous and helpful staff for the price of a hotel room. The breakfast was great(fresh squeezed natural orange juice). I did not realize they served dinner, but upon returning to the hotel late Sunday evening with a sick child, we asked if they had someone who could deliver us something versus going out for dinner. Their hamburgers, sandwiches and pasta were great and were made at the hotel. I guess they had a chef on staff at night also. Their full service bar was also great for this dad. If you want a quiet, safe and comfortable weekend stay, I would recommend this hotel to any couple, family or business traveler.

Excellent hotel at the heart of the city, right on Paseo de Montejo, very quiet, and with great attention to detail. The food was good. The Master Suite is worth the price.
