This is a wonderful property right on the ping River. Very serene and zen style rooms. Very close to a number of restaurants and walking distance to the Walking night market. Very comfortable stay.

This is a gem of a hotel. It is really beautifully architecturally, and is located in a very chill, yet convenient part of the city. The staff is lovely and accommodating and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The hotel design is amazing, I LOVE the oriental vibes. I was also surprised that the rate included breakfast! And the room comes with a little balcony! I really enjoyed my stay there and will 10/10 recommend. Location is quite convenient too, walking distance to many places like night market and this little street with many cute boutiques, cafes and restaurants.

Decorative design great. Great location. Functional not so good, like hunt the plug points in room, free mini bar but only water in mini bar. No drawers or cupboard space and only 4 coat hangers. No towels at swimming pool when we visited. One sink had a wall mirror but the other not which was strange. Hotel closed the bar and restaurant at 5:30pm unannounced each day and said it was low season while other hotels did not do this.Hotel had unsold rooms but they refused any later check out as we had a night flight.

Everything is alright, I like their oriental vibe to the design, but their rooms are relatively small, cleanliness can be improved. All else are functioning. The pool wasn't very desirable.

We came to check in around 7 pm and met with front officer. He’s not really in a mood to welcoming us. We’re a little bit surprise and disappointed with staff. But overall the hotel, decorations and food are really nice.

This hotel has beautiful interior combined Chinese and modern styles. Willow trees in the garden looks amazing. Breakfast and complementary afternoon tea service was great. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. Enjoyed every moment here.

The hotel building and room facilities are very clean without bugs. The hotel's meticulous interior, a variety of delicious breakfasts, and quiet surroundings are the biggest advantages of the hotel. Everything is wonderful but the towels.Really old towels! Not white anymore. Almost grey and a bit smelly. I saw a hotel staff cleaning the windows with the towels.

Quiet place but the location is inconvenient. My room is at 3rd floor but no lift. The room is a bit small.

Pool was great after hot afternoons/day trips. Best food items -- rose honey tea, Thai spice chicken wings, Khow suey. Breakfast is included and huge!!

If you like Chinese decorations, you will love it. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They serve a la carte breakfast. There is complimentary tea set (toast and tea) everyday. It costs around 70b to Nimman or Old City. It takes around 5-10 mins to fruit market. It may not convenient for elderly or people with less mobility because there is no lift and quite dark in the hotel building.

Such a chic little hotel in a great location. Easy tuk tuk ride or walk to Old Town! Staff was so accommodating, took care of everything for us. Nice breakfast. Loved this stay!

The overall experience is great. All the staffs at the reception, restaurant, and spa are very lovely. We enjoyed literally all the dishes we ordered. The design of the hotel is wonderful. But one little thing need to be aware of is the small step on the second floor right before you enter the courtyard area. Also, if you like to shop around little boutiques, the location of this hotel is perfect. There are lots of small unique shops and cafes on the street.

Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Location is a bit far from the center of the city (especially at night), and the hotel desk staff was a pretty mixed bag -- some were helpful, but others were only too eager to rip us off by trying to overcharge us for cabs and services.

there was 0 wi fi available in the room. i was told i could use the wifi in the lobby or cafe instead. no resolution. no towels at the pool. the car service they used over charged us by 200 bhat. the location is out of the way of anything you'd want to visit. the property itself is decent but thats about it. service sucks. most of the staff is not versed in english so they just stand they saying, "yes, yes, yes...." with out understating the problem or offering solution.

You can see the attention to detail from the design of the hotel to the attentiveness of the staff. The food is also excellent and they kick start your day with a varied and well designed menu; the afternoon tea is also a must try when you're hiding until the sun sets. Hotel des Artists can be described as an experience of its own embedded within the artistic region of Chiang Mai.

Staff very friendly, good bfast & afternoon tea. Staff even remembered my bfast choice. Superb decor ... only downside is internet connection. Other than that very happy stay. It will b my first choice of accommodations in Chiangmai.

This was by far the most beautiful hotel I've had in my life. So tastefully decorated. The staff was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in how they could improve our stay. You really feel that you aren't a number. I didn't have many occasions where I met and was greeted by the manager of the hotel but here he was there in the morning to greet you and ask what your plans were for the day. Side note: the decorations and location was perfect and even their uniforms were stylish and a perfect match to the hotel. I will definitely come back.
