It was a fun, nostalgic place to stay. Very clean, no elevator, can be quite a hike if you’re on the second floor.

Great staff and management. Super comfortable bed. Pet friendly. Nice breakfast. Only hot item is the waffles. Everything else was very fresh (juice, muffins, coffee and milk for cereal). Only con is the wifi. If wifi is essential during your trip, this is not the hotel for you. The wifi was spotty at best. It went up and down like a yoyo. Overall, nice clean hotel.

This hotel has a little charm, and is a decent value, however I don't understand the higher ratings. It could use an update and is shabby and a little worn. The wifi was terrible, constantly going out, and apparently the management just doesn't want to spend the money to fix it since it is an ongoing problem. And the breakfast is grim - no protein, other than milk, not even hard boiled eggs.

We stayed one night while we were handling business in the area. When the need came up for a second night, we came back!

Nice motel. New 50s era furnishings were cool.

It was convenient but just ok. The room was clean, the bed was ok, the pillows were hard. It is decorated cute and the refrigerator and microwave are convenient. I don't know if I would stay again.

Good place to stay. Excellent Communication with staff. Would stay here again

I like the cleanliness and the retros style in the room. I wasn’t impressed by the continental breakfast. I feel like there should at least be some hot water for tea.

This is an economy motel. The room was overall clean and pleasant although it seemed the floors were not mopped well as there was something sticky next to the bed. It was nice to have a fridge, coffe maker, and microwave in the room and the AC worked well. The bathroom is very small with a toilet well suited in size for children but challenging for those with mobility issues or bad knees due to it being rather short. There was an overall smell of disinfectant/ chemicals in the room. The only place to relax is on the bed as the only other seating in the room is two metal chairs.

Staff was friendly and efficient, Room was small but very clean, and bedding was sparkling white with choices of polyester or foam pillows. A mid-century appliance vibe with formica, a vintage-look refrigerator and dial telephone. Property is a refurbished motel, but a terrific budget short-stay alternative to other much higher-priced chain hotel properties in the area. Keep it up Lulu!

Our A/C was a little loud but did keep the room VERY cold. The pool was filled in, which was a bummer. Cute place, though, and staff were very friendly and kind.

We really liked the idea of fixing up an older property with a retro feel. The staff were very friendly and the entire property was really clean. Definitely recommend this place!

I chose this motel based on the pictures and reviews. The pictures didn’t accurately represent the property. It is not newly remodeled—it has been painted, and has new retro-style appliances. Otherwise, the bathroom, sink, tub, toilet are really outdated and worn out. I felt it was overpriced and I regretted my choice. There is also a required $150 deposit, which was unusual for a budget motel. I would not stay again.

I would have given this place more stars but the bathroom was really small and the shower curtain was extremely dirty and full of red stains

Cute hotel retro 50s. Clean, room on the small side, friendly staff. Ice machine was a long walk to lobby. Nice entry touch key system.

Nice little place. Cute retro appliances. Tv channels were like from an antenna. I'll gladly stay there again. Staff was very very helpful. Only thing to note. The rooms arent sound proof. You can hear the traffic going down the highway and your neighbors getting ready in the morning, like loud conversation, nose blowing and, gagging and spitting seems to be a must for some peoples morning routines. Lol.

Bed was comfy but a bit squishy. If your a light sleeper it might bother you, but not me.
Towels a bit worn out. Should be replaced. Tub was a bit dirty on the edges and the entrance door had greasy fingers prints. Recommend housekeeping be a bit more thorough. A little noisy outside in the early evening but after that it quiets down.
All in all a decent hotel for the price I paid. I just needed a clean bed to sleep and take a shower.
The continental breakfast was a plus easy to grab and go bagels, cream cheese, bread for toast or peanut butter and jelly, orange juice, apple juice, yogurt, cereal, coffee and they did have ice which was a plus considering it was so hot.

Bathroom floor dirty and laundry not available.

Shower could use some help, way to difficult to get water temperature balanced. Nice staff, normal small scale fruit cereal for breakfast. Coffee was spot on. Great value, I would stay again

I have stayed at Lulu in the past, and had a great experience, which is why I booked again. We arrived past midnight, so our keys were left in a lock box. When entering the room, it was obvious that the floors were absolutely filthy. Since no one was in the lobby, I brought this to their attention in the morning. I sound with the manager of housekeeping, who inspected the room and apologized for the dirty floors. When entering, he noticed a dirty handprint on the wall. When returning to the room later that night, the handprint was cleaned off of the wall, but it was obvious that the floors were not mopped because they were still filthy. The bathroom had a spot on the ceiling from a leak, and it looked like it had black mold. I let management know, and they apologized.
