Room as expected for price and availability.

Booking was easy.

Cleanliness of room. Bed headboard was covered in layer of dust. The bathroom had no trash can. Shower head seems to be falling off wall, and tub needs a good scrub. Bathroom floor tile corners covered in dust.

Nice retro place at an affordable price

It was very affordable and nice compared to the other options in Silver City. The retro vibe is well done.

The check-in time was 3:00 but I'm used to 2:00 as a normal time. I showed up between and was told it was $20 to check in early, regardless of if the room is ready or not. Went for a hike instead. No fault to the property just an odd fee that I hadn't seen before. The place is definitely old but they've put their touch to it which is nice. That being said it had a bit of an aroma.

Nice Decor, useless internet

Nicely decorated room. I booked this hotel because it advertised free wireless high-speed Internet access. At first we were placed in room 110, but there was no internet access. Then, they moved us to 104. The bed was comfortable, The room was clean. The internet was useless. The location is nice if you are going to be at the Gila National Park when it opens in the morning. Did I mention how bad the internet was? There is plenty of parking and many nearby restaurants. Worthless internet.

At 4:00 AM I was able to get 156 ping and 0.54 upload speed. The young lady at the front desk seemed totally unconcerned about the lack of internet. Breakfast starts at 07:30, which was too late for us.

This is a very clean small hotel that was far nicer than a lot of the chain motels I have stayed at.

breakfast was adequate, but breakfast area was small and became crowded with families with a bunch of unruly kids

The young girl behind the desk should have paid better attention to keeping the breakfast bar restocked as the family with the unruly kids took everything.

Loved the retro furnishings. It's a great touch. Rooms were clean and everything worked as expected.

When we got there, front desk lady said we have no working hot water. offered to cancel our room with no penalty- wasn’t an option as every single other hotel was booked due to the wrestling event this weekend. Maybe a few days heads up would have been more savvy but that would make them loose business. Upon entering the room, it smelled like a 90 year old women lived there. everything smelled stale, and old. we clicked the heater on, took over an hour to heat our small room up.

Disappointed I may give Lulu another chance if I visit Silver City again.

We wanted to stay here because we had such a wonderful stay in Feb/Mar.

When we arrived exhausted from our travel our check in went well. We got to our room, unloaded the car and were ready to relax. When we closed the door there was a pile of mud chips on the tiled entry way. When we sat on the toilet it rocked forward and then there were no hand towels!. We reported this to the front desk and was told that everyone was off for the holiday. We asked for a broom to clean up the mud ourselves!

Lulu’s Offers Value, Cleanliness, and Convenience

The facility is kept clean, the location is convenient, the beds are comfortable, and the free breakfast is a great amenity to have. Also, it is nice to have a coffee pot in the room. Staff are, for the most part, friendly.

I have stayed there enough times to compare the condition of different rooms. Some are in better condition than others. For example, this last room I stayed in had curtains that had small holes in them, and the blanket on my bed was worn and frayed. Also, the room could have used a fresh coat of paint.
