We got exactly what we booked, which was a safe place to sleep with a bathroom available! We got a small glamping tent and it was basically the only thing available since we booked kinda late and camp sites were full (we aren't "first come first serve" type). I'm glad we brought our camping gear because the beds were less comfortable than sleeping on the ground would have been, so we eventually folded up the best and put our ground pad down. The tent was also incredibly loud in the wind. Bathrooms were clean and front desk staff were fabulous. Probably won't book again, but worked out for our short notice trip. In the future I'd rather save some money and pitch our own tent.

This was supposed to be a resort. It turned out to be a grouping of motel rooms built in the 1920s. They were old and had a lot of issues. One being there was no air conditioning in the majority of the rooms. There was supposed to be swamp coolers keeping the air cool. However, in the room we were assigned the vent was covered by tin foil and no air was coming in. Remember this is in Death Valley National Park. I estimate that the temperature in the room was around 90 degrees. I went back and complained and we were given a bunk cabin with a double bed. There was an air conditioner in this unit but it did cool well. Overall it was a big disappointment in what was expected. The only bright spot was the restaurant which had excellent food and a friendly staff.

I stayed in their premium cabin, haven’t seen the motel. The cabin was very tight, barely enough space around the bed to put your bags in, no fridge or microwave. There’s no cell service and the Wifi is only at the restaurant and convenience store buildings, not usable in the cabins. The AC in the cabin was powerful but loud, so I had to turn it off to sleep. Other than that, it was a fun stay. It’s a unique accommodation in a remote part of the DV National Park, and I’m glad they are open, otherwise it would be much more difficult to explore the west side of the park.

Was a good stay except it was so hot, the tent could have done with a fan which would have made it that much better. All in all a beautiful location and good stay

An outside tent is where we stayed. The advertisement didn't state a tent. It definitely was not what i expected.

It is death valley and the property did not have working a.c. store and food only from 7-9, mandatory tip of food which is sub par again with no a c. And bugs. Bees infested the room when I turned the light on at 5:00 a.m. There was much damage in the room along with bugs and cob webs. It is unbelievable this cost $275 per night. I could go on, but I would say never select this place. Nothing good about it.

Stay was good. Room was small but equipped with A/C which did a good job in the heat. The door almost didn't open as the doorknob didn't work properly.
