Really one word for it disappointed, this was a last minute booking so looked at the pictures, price range and location all good until we got there, I mean the place it's OKAY but is a £20-£30/night kind of place NOT £80, first of all there was not parking space when really stated on Expedia that we needed one and been told to park along the road when we got here, the entrance of the place not welcome at all as you have to go through two hallways to get to the reception where if there's more than two people arriving in the same time that's it traffic jam no one is going in or out the building, then THE ROOMS which really looked nice in the pics, but NO stander box room, old furniture SHARED BATHROOMS with one toilet and one shower for £80 a night big no no, plus the bathrooms have hair on the floor which look unhygienic and to get to your room from the reception area you literally had to go around the corner where you had to go past all the rubbish bins area to go in to the building, just not okay for the price, so super disappointed, really didn't want to stay here when realized all this but we check in late after 8 hrs drive plus the place is non refundable which again made feel like I just been mugged.
One more thing if there's something not working properly in the hostel fix it don't make guest be responsible them, like the rule ,,no hairdryer cause the fire alarms are sensitive" really? Again you're charging £80/night.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I liked this place but I was not expecting the reception/lounge to be in a separate building from the rooms. I’m not the biggest fan of that so just something to keep in mind. Still a nice place though.

The bathrooms are mixed gender and have toilets and showers in the same room. I'm fine with a mixed dorm room but shared bathroom made me feel vulnerable. As a single female traveler, it was awkward showering and then having a man using the toilet right next to me.

I stayed in a 6 mixed dorm with river view. This has been my best hostel experience to date. It's in a good location, there are blackout curtains on the bunks, the bunks are tall enough that you don't hit your head, the bedding is comfortable, the staff are friendly, and it had a quiet, chill environment. It's a small hostel, so if it were at full capacity I think the space in common areas/kitchen/bathrooms would be far too small. I'd stay again as long as it wasn't busy. :)

Not what I booked. I needed a private bathroom for my autistic brother, and what we got was a small room with two single beds. Host was fantastic, very polite and informative. Lovely guy. Didn't know where to get towels from, and TV didn't work. . . A hostel, and was alright for price. . . But I doubt we'd be back. . .

I stayed at The annex of Bazpackers
which was not specified in your description of my reservation
My stay was not very good.
I never got a good nights sleep. The bed was horribly hard and no one at the hostel could help me and I was made to feel like I was a problem for asking for assistance .
The bed was hard and lumpy and the hostel staff would not help me make it better
One male staffer told me to flip my mattress over and offered to help me and then never showed up. I flipped it over myself but it made it worse. So I had to flip it back. And it was heavy.
I asked if they could give me blankets for padding and he told me that there were no extra blankets in the whole hostel and that I was mistaking a hostel for a hotel
The man at the desk was insensitive and disrespectful as far as I’m concerned although he seemed like he was trying to be helpful.
I thought him intolerant and that asking for support around my comfort was bothering him.
It felt like I was a problem for asking them for blankets.
I will never stay there again.
The deluxe room is small and the bathrooms are like in closets.
Super tiny kitchen and cooking area.
Inverness on the whole is very friendly. I just didn’t have a good experience at BazPackers.
I was only in Inverness for the three days and there were no other places in that price range for me to move too or I would have.
I really felt like I was stuck between a rock and a hard bed ....

The hostel is very nice and close to the centre. There is a great pub near by.
Hostel staff is really friendly and helpfull.
Only thing is the "half open bathroom" in the twin room: this is a shared bathroom, but there are 2 and they are ok. Also a seperate toilet so no waiting for others in the morning.

This was my and my daughter's first hostel experience. Everything was clean and comfortable and the common relaxation and kitchen areas were welcoming and cozy. Being first timers we were a little anxious about understanding how everything worked, but the hostess that met us gave us clear instructions and everything was a breeze. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
