This hotel is fairly new in a neighborhood a bit distant from the historic city center. The staff, though not conversant in English, were most helpful and worked hard to bridge the language barrier. It was a great value.

Nothing but an awesome hotel. Very nicely located within walking distance to eating places and to Plaza de Armas at less than a mile away walking distance. Mr. Victor, owner of hotel, is nothing less than outstanding! Room are very comfortable, very clean, bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is included and healthy. Mr. Victor prepared us breakfast to go at 4:30 in the morning even thought hours are 6-9 daily, wow! I will highly recommended this hotel during a stay in Cusco, Peru.

As a U.S. Marine I have traveled the world and stayed in many hotel and hostels. Ureta Hotel is by far the best I have stayed for a hotel. The owner is above and beyond courteous, attentive, and
extremely caring. Each day he prepares my family of five a breakfast to take since we left at five each morning even thought breakfast hours are six to nine every morning (breakfast is included in the daily rate). The rooms are comfortable with wifi. I highly recommend this hotel!

We communicated through WhatsApp, very convenient!

Rooms are extremely cold; so noisy in the night that you can hardly sleep; people can hardly speak English.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean. Check in and check out was super simple.

Amazing and kind staff. Seems like a family business. A bit outside the city center but still a safe area, we never had any issues. Walkable at any hour to be frank.

Amazing experience at Ureta Hotel! When we decided to take a trip to South America, choosing the right hotel took a lot of our time. Thankfully, we made a great choice by picking Ureta Hotel for our stay in Cusco. The location is excellent—just a 15-20 minute walk to the historic downtown area. The hotel is incredibly clean, comfortable, and staffed by friendly people. Special thanks to Victor and his wife, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Not only did they provide exceptional service, but they also made fantastic recommendations.
The breakfast was outstanding; we’ve never felt so spoiled with delicious omelettes, fresh bread, and amazing fresh fruit.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Cusco, Peru.

We loved staying here. The owner and his staff were amazing and took great care of us. The rooms are nice and very clean. Breakfast everyday was a nice change from the USA with a Peruvian style breakfast which was very nice. Easy walk to the squares in town and much quieter than staying in a central hotel given the crowds and noise. Highly recommended.

The hotel is run by the owners and, they are very attentive to help all the guests. As a solo traveler that made me feel safe and comfortable. The only bad thing was that I got a room facing the big avenue and the noise was loud during the night. Other than that, I would recommend this place for a short stay and a medium-low budget (in comparison to the top hotel costs).

Horrible customer service.

The staff are amazing! Even though they don’t speak much English they try hard to communicate with you using google translate. Not just for main information but also to have a nice chit chat. The bed is very comfortable and they have a nice hot shower - exactly what you need after trekking and camping! It’s a short walk into town but there are also cheaper food options nearby like Mr Soup, which is great!

Great hotel with even better staff.
The hotel owner made my stay perfect. When you arrive the give you hot coca te to make sure you don’t get sick from the altitute.
The hotel is in quiet area with local restaurant and supermarket only few minutes away.
10-15 min walk to the central or 7 solis for uber.
Fast internet and plenty of hot water in the shower.
Can get little cold in this town at night but beautiful town.
Cusco is much cheaper then Lima.
I would stay again at this hotel.
Cusco is great olace to try Alpaca and Cuy and it has lot of cheap restaurant. For shopping local alpacha stuff I recomend San Pedro market.
The market is also great to try out local food.

The manager in this hotel is world-class: friendly, helpful, detail-oriented and with a sense of humor. The hotel is very well managed: clean, good breakfast, safe and flexible with our requests.
Only thing to note is that it does not have air conditioner. We are here in late July and it was a bit cold at night.

This was my first time in peru and also my first time leaving a review on Expedia. Before arrival, upon arrival ,and after messaging the Hotel, we were not picked up from the airport despite it being an amenity offered by the hotel. The issues did not stop there. The hotel also describes that both English and Spanish would be spoken, but our whole experience was dictated by the use of google translate as no staff could understand or speak English. It should also be noted that the room did not have air conditioning or heat and the only means of warmth was provided via blankets. Lastly, upon checkout, we were charged additionally for using a hand towel to clean our garments despite us cleaning it and it possessed minimal staining which could have been removed from proper washing (I would expect the hotel to expect this as Peru is known for its treacherous landscape and various hiking excursions which can lead to dirty clothing requiring cleaning). Overall, this should be a last choice for your stay in Cusco if you are looking for a relaxing time after experiencing one of the seven wonders of the world. It should also be mentioned that no offer was extended to us for a return shuttle back to the airport and we had to buy another Uber. I’m not one to bash or want to cause issues, but this was very disappointing considering seeing high ratings for this place. The staff did try to be polite, but there was more inconveniences that outweighed polite staff.

Friendliest hotel owners ever!! We came in late and exhausted from our Inca Trail trek and they helped us order a pizza and helped us find a local pharmacy as well. It was nice to be away from the touristy area and to walk around with locals in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean. I was initially perplexed when they asked what time we would like breakfast in the morning, but was so impressed by the multiple course homemade hot breakfast that was served. Delicious! Thank you!

This is a relatively modern hotel. Our room (for a family of four) was clean and the staff were friendly. We arrived late at night after a visit to Machu Picchu, and had to leave very early in the morning for a flight. The staff were accommodating and even packed some food for us in the morning.
The hotel is about 30 min walk from Plaza Mayor de Cusco. That was a non issue for us as we needed a place for a short, one night stop over.

Victor is the kindest and most gentle soul we have met in Cusco. He was incredibly attentive to all our needs, and treated us like family. Even arranged for a free airport pickup for us.
The breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean. I'd highly recommend Ureta to anyone visiting Cusco.

Loved our stay! The couple that runs it are very nice and helpful! You can tell they care a lot about their visitors and inn. We didn't have any problem storing our luggage during a excursion to Machu Picchu. They were even up to see us off at 3 am with snacks and water. Rooms are clean and breakfast is simple but lovely. It's farther away from the city center but in exchange it"s a much quieter location.
