Nice, modern hotel...with ridiculously small rooms where you have to climb over your spouse in bed to get to the bathroom, and there's no place to out anything.

While our room was very very small, it was clean, had everything we needed (of note, a hot shower, hair dryer, and safe for our valuables). The service was excellent every day we were there. Be sure to check out the speak easy!

Rooms are tiny and we had to crawl over the bed from the foot because there was no space on the side of the bed. There was trash and housekeeping stuff in the hall outside our room the whole weekend, and the staff at check-in were friendly enough, but not very well training on check-in and way too casual (t-shirts, informal greeting, lots of between employee chit chat while customers were waiting). It was very annoying that you entered the hotel and then had to climb or descend stairs without an elevator or ramp option.

I love this hotel and the staff. Will always stay here. The rooms are quaint but I love it!

The boutique had a wonderful cafe & restaurant. The staff was super nice. And the location was perfect for shopping and exploring.

The staff was amazing. Rooms are super small but on a trip with good weather you’re never in the room. Very comfortable pretty views cute hotel and again the staff was amazing.

Wonderful hotel. Spacious, beautifully furnished, great food and service. Only issue was the noise from our room on the second floor which faced the road. It was very noisy at night. However, It’s great to find such a fantastic hotel in New York and we will be back for sure.

While we live in an era of condensed living, the microscopic size of the room was a complete surprise. At night to get out of bed required my wife to crawl over me. Very little storage for clothes, no ironing board or iron, not that there would have been sufficient space to use it. The hotel description claimed "soundproof windows". On the eighth floor we could hear peoples conversations at street level. The emergency vehicle sirens sounded like they were right outside our door. Same for the doors in the room. On the bright side, the location was great.

Very small rooms. We ended up paying 120 USD extra for two nights (service fee which seems like a way to charge guests extra and city taxes) why it was an very expensive stay for a tiny room without breakfast. Money could be better spend somewhere else.
Room was nice and clean and centrally located though.

I thought the hotel was beautiful and stylish. The room was very small even for NY. King size bed but really the room only fits one person when you’re trying to get ready in the morning.
I was disappointed when we tried to go to the speakeasy and were told no more guests were allowed in at midnight even thought they are open til 2am.
I would stay again but request a larger room unless traveling alone.

I love love loved my stay here so much! Perfect location, one block from the subway. Easy access to all of nyc. The hotel has so much going on - great food, rooftop garden restaurant and a speakeasy with great cocktails! The beds were super comfy too!

Beautiful small hotel with character. Modern rooms with comfortable bed. No noise from within hotel. Minimal street noise. Excellent omelet for brunch at hotel restaurant. Great views (looking north at Empire State Building) from rooftop bar. Courteous staff. Very close to several shops beat lines. Can walk to Little Italy and Chinatown.

Definitely great place! Just wish you can lower the temperature on the AC unit but everything else was great!!

Hotel was amazing! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Surrounding area is great. Right next to all the shopping. I would recommend staying here if you don’t mind a smaller room.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Very clean and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly! They were very attentive and in giving me helpful information on fun things to check out around the city. Big shouts to Neison, Ashanti and Brandi for their helpfulness while I stayed at the hotel.

The walker is an amazing hotel, staff’s are so kind and helpful! When we got to nyc we were able to drop off our bags right away. We were able to checked in a little early. We had a lot of problems with the first room. It was way too cold and we couldn’t change the temperature of the room, also no cold water for shower. The floor has multiple dents on the floor, bathroom light was acting up and it was really hard to close and open the doors. We did get a compliment room upgrade and that room was great! Still no cold shower water but overall really good! Room service was excellent, we got new towels everyday, bed was made everyday, and we got new water bottles everyday. Warning the elevator has no air conditioning.

This is a nice looking hotel and the front desk staff are welcoming..The room was shockingly small and lacked some basic amenities for the price point.. The view of the city was nice and the bed was comfortable.

The property is very well maintained in the public areas, but a bit worn in the hallways on the upper floors. We all know about tiny NYC hotel rooms, but the Walker makes an art of taking it to the next level. I was initially shocked - but I did book a “cozy king”, so couldn’t be too surprised.
In the end, the small room had a great bed, great shower, great tv and great AC. the room is perfect for sleeping and the common areas provide great “living” space.
Rates are great for NYC.

The location is good.
When we arrived, the person at the door didn’t even look at us and the person who checked us in was not much friendlier.
That’s not cool for an hotel.
You’ll find everything you need in the room but it is so small that you can’t open a regular size suitcase without blocking the door or access to the bed. By the way, it’s only possible to access the bed from one side as it’s stuck on the wall. Also it took me a moment to realize how the shower works.
Overall it was an okay stay but for the same price you can find better.

Beautiful hotel with tight, but well curated rooms. Great rooftop bar, restaurant and area. Will be staying here again.

Terrible view. Could hear everything outside and in other rooms. Took me a while to get to sleep.
Had a free drink voucher but couldn't even get into a restaurant to use it.
Asked for some ice but couldn't even get it in a timely manner as it had to be delivered.

The hotel served its purpose for the one night stay. The size of the room could have been a bit bigger. I was curious to know why they stopped using the top level of the room which I assume was where the bed would be.
