This place could use friendlier staff and some freebies to offset the outdated appliances and grumpy front desk.
I mean charging for bananas and coffee in the morning is just TACKY.
Bathtub made no sense and goes boiling hot forever.
TV makes no sense and is programmed to NOT go to regular menu but instead to some random screen with white noise
housekeeping came to turn my bed at 9AM when I had just slipped out for a coffee.

The staff was great. They’re the reason I’m not giving 1 star. The room itself was very old and needs a major renovation. The couch in the room had stains on it. The carpet had various stains on it in both areas. My 2nd to last night there, someone smoked marijuana in a room close to mine. Which flooded my room with the smell of weed. So for my last 2 nights, it smelled like dispensary in my room. Great location, I hope they address these issues for future customers!

The view was what made this room tolerable. We had a corner junior suite. The couch bed was a twin and felt like plywood. The toilet didn’t work well and the carpets were pretty disgusting. The elevators were also an issue, too many people and not enough working elevators. It would take forever to get downstairs. The tvs were very outdated as well. The staff was okay, before the bell hop even touched my bags he reminded me he works off tips.

The carpet was FILTHY. And i mean filthy.

Only 2/4 elevators work, I got stuck on one. The photos are extremely photoshopped. Everything is outdated (bed, floors, walls, bathrooms, tv… EVERYTHING) only thing nice was the views!

Rooms are decent sized and probably would have had a better stay if not under construction, basic items were in the room, and there weren’t left over trash not cleaned from the previous guest.

Old property that Hilton sold. Seems worn and in need of upgrades. Positive: location could not be better. Suite offered good space and great views. Excellent transportation hub and food options. Negative: old, rickety infrastructure like elevators and Internet.
Staff seemed nice. Price seems reasonable for NYC but there is $40/day that seems like extortion. The final bill was as Expedia listed.
All in all it was a pretty good stay.

everything was a smooth process and check in. Hotel had a beautiful view and staff was very helpful. Only think that was unexpected is the charge fee they do aside that expedia does not include.

One of the worst hotel stays I've had in 20 years. The hotel is in desparate need of renovation and repair. I moved rooms three times during my stay due to mold in the bathroom, ripped wallpaper, etc.

Only bad thing about it, is that you have to find a garage to park your car because the hotel doesn't have one.

The towels provided on the first day were warned out. The air conditioning filters may need to be replaced: there was a dust smell in the room.

All great , staff, location view. Rooms are nicely sized but in need of a big refresh.

Great location, across the street from 9/11 memorial. Have to park in a garage around the corner on barclay st, but you get a hotel discount. Get a subway map from the concierge and definitely eat breakfast at the stage door deli nearby.

The first room was missing the table and chair from the room. Also it had space for a fridge but it was missing and sealed tight. No one told us there wasnt a fridge in the room and that we could've requested one at a cost. Then the second room didn't have all the proper towels and half were missing. Also the pool was currently closed and elevators were being worked on which were disappointing. The rooms should be updated to match their beautiful lobby. However the tremendously beautiful view and sunsets are worth every penny and would come back for that alone.
