No utensils, roaches, flies, small refrigerator. Pool was closed entire time. Poor customer service. Very disappointed.

A basic level experience for a budget price at Barstow in the Motel 6 "Studio" variant close to the east end on Main Street. Bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi and TV worked fine. My only complaint was the lack of soap. Not sure whether this was an oversight or an intentional add-on option, but that's a new one on me. Fortunately I had some with me.

Dead coach roach and smoke smell. The staff was very kind, though. The motel as a whole was just kind of gross, but for $50 a night it wasn’t that bad. I won’t come back, though.

Can always appreciate this motel 6. Especially nowadays. Excellent job👍👍

Amazing! 5/5!

The first time I've had a kitchenette in motel 6, with a little extra room. This was just a rest stop for one night on my way to Arizona, but I seriously like the studio 6 room better than my room in Arizona.

Very dated both externally & internal.
Booked a 2 bed deluxe suite, which was 2 rooms knocked into one.
Bed no.1. The counterpane was filthy with stains all over it.
The other bed had whay looked like kids felt tip pen marks on it.
Not recommended unless like us, you are dog tired!!

This is my go to spot for any stays now. This was for the Superbowl. Enjoyed our stay. Was quiet this time.

The refrigerator was in the way of the bathroom door opening in the handicap room.

I was very happy with the overall experience with this property… I stayed here with my family and stay was very comfortable. Front desk representative Devi was very helpful

It was so loud. Worst sleep I've had in a long time.you could hear the People upstairs like they were right next to you. Every step and every flush of tomorrow.Cracks in door- bed linens smelled bad- mattress was terrible- hot water was out when we arrived. Very sketchy people walking the area and parking lot. Did not feel safe AT ALL! Would never stay here again.
3.3
The facility was clean and just what we needed.

About this Studio 6 location. It has been the best Motel / Studio 6 that I have stayed in during this journey. The staff is very friendly.

It's quite and relaxing

The only issue was there was no water pressure in the sink.
3.3
It is not too far from the main attraction (Barstow Route 66).
3.3
We made a reservation and upon arrival we were told there was no room available. We were told there was a water leak. Had we been so advised we could have made alternative arrangements.
3.3
It was a very good overall experience. Thank you

Overall the stay was fine, just the kitchenette was super dirty specially the microwave, I wasn’t able to use it and the bathroom also was not so clean

there's only one word to describe the check-in - bizarre! the office was closed to customers and the night window the only way to deal with the clerk on duty. This was thick security glass with no vents so extremely difficult to hear what was being said. I was asked to leave a 150 dollar cash deposit which was outrageous as there was nothing of value in the studio - NO cutlery, NO cooking equipment, NO washing up facilities, NO way to make a cup of coffee and, if you did NOT EVEN A CUP THAT WOULD TAKE HOT LIQUID! I did leave a credit card deposit which it appears has been refunded but the final twist the following morning - NO COFFEE (due to Covid!). Hopefully when the Covid fear is over this place will get back to normal but I won't be staying. To be frank I gfelt I was taking part in a horror movie the whole situation was unreal, the only word to describe the experience - BIZARRE
3.3
Horrible customer service I never stayed with her attitude.
3.3
Jesssula worst check in ever. Tried charging me 2 times. Said they only accept cash and wouldn't honor a hotels.com reservation. Didn't want to honor a booking for a room with a kitchen, and that y I booked this room

We were refused service and were not able to stay at the property, although our reservation was made a month prior and prepaid. This caused a major hardship for my family including my 3 month old daughter. the staff was rude and unprofessional. Call ahead and make sure you reservation is going to be honored before you are stranded like we were.

Thank you

I did not realize there is a separate distinction between studio 6 and motel 6. The young man who handled my checking in was “rude”. I have stayed at this location before apparently new administration. $ 150.00 dollar deposit is extremely steep for a room with no defining difference from motel 6. And after he had collected my money. He informed me there was no “Hot Water until 11:00 pm”. Well there was no “Hot Water” for 2 days that I know of and when I inquired when there would be, yet another rude person answered, “with we are not giving discounts!!” I continued my conversation with the young lady and informed her my booking is through Hotels.com therefore my complaint will be filed through Hotel.com/Expedia. The attitude with the older desk person greatly improved by the end of the second day. To my knowledge this hotel has been accommodating to those traveling on business and personal reasons. The accommodations have been, quiet, clean, comfortable and kind staff. I am a person who recommends. I was disappointed.

Another hotel that requires a deposit on check in. Reservation issues, the rooms were not clean, initially didn't have hot water. At least they had wi-fi like they advertised on booking.
3.3
Didn’t like that there was noises like running through the wall all night while trashing to sleep and also didn’t even have complementary shampoo or soap
3.3
Well lit and very friendly staff. But I highly objected to the $150 "deposit" placed on my credit card to guarantee I didnt destroy or steal anything from the room. This was not disclosed to me until after I arrived. I made sure that I checked out instead of just leaving the key in the room and walked the clerk to my room to "inspect" it and assure me that I would not be charged. For this reason, I wont go back to this place.
