Beautiful old 1890's building in mountain town. Kitchen down the hall had hot drinks available. Surprised to find no hair dryer in the room. Should have packed mine. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. TV had no signal, but it may be due to the weather. Woke up to snow in the morning, so we left without trying the breakfast. Sign in the cafe listed $12 for hotel guests.

Unique and historic property. Huge and spotless rooms, a breakfast credit valid at two great places, nice restaurant/bar on site. We stayed in the Arts & Crafts room and it was so charming and comfortable. The claw-foot tub was just what the doctor ordered after a full day of hiking. Great stay!

We spent one night at this beautifully updated hotel (former Mercantile) dating from the late 1800s. We were arriving late and called to let the owner know this. We arrived to our key in an envelope easy for us to find. I loved the period updates, the bed was very comfortable with very nice sheets and comforter. I will return, well done!

We stayed in room 203 which is the Arts and Craft room. It was huge and had a really large bathroom as well. As it is a historic building you can expect the charm that comes with squeaky floors and stairs. Our room was right off the common space and we did hear people early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or want more privacy then you should choose a room further down the hall. The common space has a shared refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and ice machine. Coffee, teas, and creamer was available. There were dishes and cups as well as a dishwasher but it was out of order.

Nice property. The only negative was the lack of a hair dryer which is something most people don’t travel with.

Loved being immersed in a bit of California history in this logging town. The renovations to the old Mill Store to transform the space with elegant, unique rooms were superb! So much thought and love went into every decision for the interiors. Comfortable, quiet, charming. This is a great place to stay in a wonderful part of California to explore.

It was a cute room in a cute town but was pricey for what you get. When they say check in is at 3pm they mean it! The free breakfast was a $10 voucher for each guest at 2 places to eat. We chose the Cafe next door the food was great. It would have been nice to have coffee in your room to make. Overall it was nice but hope to have a better price. $200 for a night is a bit much with no coffee pot or microwave.

Awesome room! Comfortable Bed, Clawfoot Bathtub, Dual-Shower, Breakfast Vouchers were all awesome! One exception was the all night rumble of what was probably a fan outside of our room!

This hotel beats our expectation in every single way. It is so cute and clean and spacious. They have wooden ceiling and pretty well paper are very pretty. The decor is well designed. The common area of the hotel feels very classy and elegant. It felt like we're staying in a 4 star hotel at the price of a 2 star one. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

We had a room outside the main building that was fantastic. Loved all the little details and best sheets I have ever slept on period. The restaurant below the Meat Market was also very very good. Great location in a tiny tiny town.

Very unique, historical place to stay. The room was huge! We really enjoyed the breakfast from the cafe downstairs. More pillows for the beds would be nice for those who want more than one pillow at night.
