Lovely property and friendly owners.
Breakfast doesn’t start until 9 though which Expedia doesn’t specify.
The land lady very kindly left me an early breakfast with very tasty cake, which was kind. Thank you !

We had a bit of a false start as we had a room at the front of the house on our first night and I got to hear the church clock ringing the hour all night long. My husband slept right through but I didn't. Luckily the landlady very helpfully allowed us to move to a room at the back for the rest of our stay and I was able to get plenty of sleep! Quirky old house with small rooms but everything you need. Nice breakfast and home cooked dinners in the lovely conservatory. Very friendly staff made us feel very welcome. A lovely homely place to stay in a great location.

Dissatisfied with this accommodation which is 3 beds squashed into a small attic accessible by very narrow steep stairs, negotiating your way through the beds to the small bathroom means bending over to avoid to sloping ceiling, the bathroom containing a bath you have to crawl into has only a hand held shower attachment and is impractical. TV is tiny, the room has only one twin 240v socket, which is by the TV, no usb or other sockets, two tiny roof windows looking out onto a roof, no bedside lighting. My main worry was what would happen in the event of a fire! Despite previous reviews stating that the room has been inspected by the fire brigade, as a host myself I can’t believe this room would meet current safety standards. There is no escape route from this room. Have stayed in accommodation the previous night booked via hotels.com and costing the same, you could not make any comparison, this room in my view should not be let, and is certainly not worth £130 and unlike the other property didn’t include breakfast.

Very convenient location. Shower didn’t work in the morning and no one to ask. Host was very helpful with looking after baggage and assisting with taxi.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and very quick to help with any enquiries.

We found the room to be quite small which is ok, very dated with only one double plug socket, no toiletries in tiny bathroom with leaking shower and not very good for emergency escape if there were a fire with locked door. Compared to other 3 star establishments it was very overpriced at £130 without breakfast considering facilities in room. We didn’t stay and left after a couple of hours.

A very warm welcome, and a lovely stay... Thank you. The room was cosy, & it was the perfect place for a nights stop as part of the Coastal Path walk.

Is attached to a nice tearoom with good cakes. Warm welcome. Room was clean and nicely decorated.
We went for the family room as it was sll that was available. Up in the roof. Has its own bathroom with a lovely bath.
However even just with 2 of us it was really cramped. One small double bed and two singles. Nowhere to really put bags , clothes etc. Kept getting in each others way and sloped ceilings so had to creep around the bed stooping.
Ok for one night. Walking round the island and definitely had nicer rooms for the same or less money.

Excellent stay for the night. Would however liked a proper shower, iron and hairdryer.
But this did not ruin our stay.

Jireh House is truly old charm and quaint. Lovely personal service from the owner Jan. My room was very spacious and very nicely decorated with lovely linens. I also enjoyed a pleasant supper sitting in the sunshine in the rear patio area of the restaurant.
Jireh House could not be more central in the attractive small town of Yarmouth.

No internet and no cellular signal in property - completely dead. Condition of property is too bad due to which it was too noisy - can hear vibration of doors closing on another rooms. No toiletries in room, uncomfortable bed (too soft).

Lovely old house near to the ferry terminal. Really nice walks nearby and a lovely restored Victorian peer. Good food in the accomodation but also lots of pubs and restaurants near by

The room is on the 2nd floor , it is too small for a family, no table , no teeth brush , no hairdryer and shower gel provided . The stairs are too steep, quite dangerous if you have baby with you.
My friend lived on 1 st floor , there is no bathroom inside the room, shared bathroom is outside, they didn’t realize that when they booked the room.

ThE room was very small and lacked any hanging space for clothes (the mini wardrobe was filled with a spare duvet) at ÂŁ90 was not value for money. these days the lack of an ensuite is a minus.

We stayed in the family room which I hadn’t appreciated is in the attic with limited headroom. There is no shower, only a bath in the bathroom and very limited space to move around. Great location though.
