Very charming rooms, the bar staff was super friendly and accommodating for check in and check out. Just be aware that you're above a gay bar so you might hear a little music until the bar closes.

This place is a gem tucked away in one of my favorite Philly areas. It’s surrounded by bars and great restaurants. It’s a super cute spot, and I’ll definitely stay again. The noise level was low, despite being in a buzzing area on a Friday night.

Great location, lots of places to walk to , safe. Great service

This place is very convenient!! we loved the neighborhood and the room was clean.
If you are a light sleeper please keep in mind it is over a bar and maybe ask for a room not on the 2nd floor. It was not an issue for my son and I, we are deep sleepers.

Like others have said: I would have easily gave it a five if it weren't for the bar downstairs. I had to wait in the bar for a few minutes because I came during happy hour, although the host/bartender was extremely friendly, and offered a drink while I waited, it was a bit awkward having to sign paperwork at the bar. The music also goes till 2 am. I was able to drown out the noise by turning the TV volume up, but both nights I was woken up around 1:30 by the same three people yelling and scream laughing in the alley, not sure if they were employees of a business there or what. Even though I didn't need to use it, my refrigerator didn't work, and there's not really a way to report it, so I had warm drinks I bought the night before. TDLR: very clean, comfortable rooms with nice security, but very unprofessional feeling.

Room was amazing and immaculately cleaned. Well decorated. Comfy beds. Thanks!

Loved being above Ubar and next to Tavern. Super convenient if you want to be in the gayborhood

Great location, reasonable room. Good price and near bar.

I loved this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better location, close to reading terminal market, and not far from downtown.

Nice place and friendly staff!

Clean and very nice. Good friendly staff.

Colorful area. Wish the restaurants were closer

The room was nice. The service is great. The only issue I had was that the AC was not working on a 90°+ day on the top floor. I was unable to sleep, although the shower worked fine. I’d return to the hotel so long as I have reassurance in advance that the AC will be working.

No parking space for cars. Have to park in outside parking decks

Like the area .. would have preferred a actual front desk not to have to go to the bar to get service or anything
Air condition did not work so it was hot with one window in the bathroom for air the only one that open…
Never knew the hotel was located over top of a lgbtq bar ..so kinda loud at times…

Small boutique hotel with 6 rooms recently remodeled and ultra clean on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Very quiet considering that there is bar downstairs. Their insulation system is great—the only noise was from patrons outside the bar—but very minimal despite of being in the heart of a thriving city. Would definitively stay there again.

Cute place, great location, pretty much feel on your own. AC was not turned on and windows open ...and it was 90*. The AC didn't drop below 80 for about 7 hours. some random hairs that weren't mine in the bathroom. No idea wifi code (wasn't given to me by bartender when I checked in). No idea when checkout is. Nice place if you just want a bed to lay in but if you want a little more hi-touch look elsewhere.

Very convenient to all of the local area attractions. Local restaurants are right around the corner.

Very respectful of my privacy. Slight problem with the booking and the manager fixed it immediately. Loved staying over a bar, it did get a little loud around closing . Absolutely recommend. A fun place

Great location for our purpose. Nice room, inexpensive for the area.

The check I'm process was the greatest thing ever. A great little hidden hotel.

It was a really walkable area in central Philly, perfect for what we needed.

The code for the Wi-Fi didn’t work which I discovered at midnight as my room was shaking from the music booming downstairs as our room was directly over a bar. The noise from music and bar guests and horns honking went on until about 3.30 when I managed a couple of hours sleep before at 7 or 8 when furniture was being what sounds like tossed around the bar and then more booming music started. I honestly don’t know how this is supposed to be a hotel because it was nearly impossible to sleep and lord knows I tried! The area is great and if you are looking to flop somewhere after a night of drinking at 4am this might work but didn’t work for me.

Cute, friendly. Good location for gayborhood, street facing rooms noisy on a weekend night. operated through U-bar downstairs, odd to arrive during rush hour at the bar.
some things didn't work- heat system was out, they gave us an uncleaned space heater. The water pressure was odd, pulsing in the shower. The safe battery was out and had to be replaced to work for us. Bed was decent but with a shin-buster frame design. They offered bag storage service for the day.

It’s a few apartments above a bar. No daily cleaning, dirty sheets, checkin process was…. Oh man. Would not stay here again. If you’re down with apartments to stay in, could be great for you. But this is not a hotel.

A nice room but no front desk. If you need anything tou must go into the adjacent bar. That bat is so busybthe bartenders are kind but dont have time for hktel guests. I just needed an iron to press a shirt. Never beard back. Tv doesnt work but for google Tv on gournown account. No phone in room.

Loved the hotel besides the bar being really loud until morning.

On arrival, it was not apparent that the doorway is up the alley with no signage to direct. I rang the bell. The bartender in the bar under the inn could not hear it. Called customer service they hung up on me. Very small room. No desk as pictured in all website photos. No wifi despite advertised. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Very nice bathroom. Water temp warm at best. Curtains broken in room — no privacy. Drunken people from bar below shouting in alley until late at night. I decided to cut my visit short from three to one night. Called customer service line before checkout time. No answer. Have messaged three different ways. No answer. Have still been billed for three nights. Avoid this place.

Exactly what I needed for the night for the price! Comfy bed and linens. I sleep with Bose Sleepbuds so I knew the noise wouldn’t bother me. Check-in was easy and friendly. Couldn’t get the room wifi to work but I was only in the room a few hours total so I didn’t care. Mind the protruding wooden bed frame when you walk in room 3 - your shins will thank you 😆 ROOM 3 HVAC worked fine. Would stay again!

Fantastic!
Happy place.

The hotel is actually run by the bar downstairs so there is no lobby and the phone is only open for non-emergency situations starting at 10am. The room was cute but lots of stuff was broken and I could hear the music from the bar until they closed at 2am. I walked past a number of times earlier in the night and the music wasn’t even that loud, so it’s just bad sound proofing. Shower pressure was also super spotty, it pretty much totally died every few seconds and then would spurt out.

Weird to check-in through the bartender, but really annoying constant thumping of booming base speakers from the bar UNTIL 4am!! Tiny room.

Needed a place to stay close to the Kimmel Center and found the Inn on Camac. Could not have asked for a better experience. Nice staff. Great room. Easy walking distance to where I needed to go. Will certainly stay here again!
4.1
The hotel is situated on the second floor above a bar, which means there might be some noise until 3:00 a.m. when the bar closes. Additionally, the air conditioner doesn't provide warm air, and the restroom is out of toilet paper with no assistance available.

Excellent hidden gem in Center City. Quant small b &b style inn rooms that are nicely decorated and updated bathrooms. Only thing missing is a coffee maker in the rooms. The entire staff was amazing especially MJ, Donny and the housekeeping staff. Word of advise, the place is upstairs from a bar and can get a bit noisy on weekends and holidays, but it’s a great location. Just sleep with earplugs if you go to sleep before 1am. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Philadelphia! Excellent hidden gem in Philly! Highly recommend Inn on Camac!

I had a great stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. The entrance is through a bar downstairs, and the staff was very friendly. The area can be noisy until 2am because of the bar downstairs, so I would recommend to anyone who is not a very light sleeper.
4.1
The noise was actually not much of a problem. The biggest problem was that the AC did not work and the room was 85 miserable degrees. The TV also didn’t work. I attempted to get help, but seemed as though there is no one available for these emergent issues. The room was so uncomfortably warm that I ended up spending the last night of my booked trip at a different hotel, incurring additional cost.
This all said, the Inn is in a great location, the housekeeping person was really nice, and the noise (so long as you expect it) is not bad. Just don’t go in warm weather.

It was such a comfortable place. First we got a room that wasn't cleaned, but after expressing the circumstances we got another cozy room (very clean).
