It’s a very nice place sitting right between the best art museums in Philadelphia (Barnes Foundation and Philadelphia museum of art). The location is perfect for me. Hotel crew was really nice and did what they could to make the stay comfortable. There was a mini-fridge in the room description i noticed it’s not there and it was delivered 5 minutes later. A quirky feature of this place is a smart mirror in the bathroom. You can check the map or play a game while brushing your teeth. Worth to install The Maj App it allows you to control some of the room features.

New hotel located near Philadelphia Museum of Art, though nothing much else in the vicinity. On trend decor (e.g. plants around lobby), comfy bed with nice linens. Very noisy AC - you can turn off noisy wall fan, but noisy ceiling system runs 24/7. Surprising that such a new hotel is providing single-use plastic mini toiletries. I found it style over substance - I don’t need internet in the bathroom mirror, but would like to switch off the lights by the bed without having to get out of bed and deal with complicated switches! Slippers would have been nice given the cold, tiled floors. No housekeeping.

Pluses - Loved the location. Staff was helpful.
Minuses - shower floor was gross;
- bitten by black insects in bed, on my checks, waist and ankles; brought a couple of these black bugs home; hope that’s the end of it

Not enough of lighting in the room.

Maj is nice hotel in amazing location. I wish there was coffee in the room. But besides that- we loved our stay. The mirror in bathroom was cool and I loved the plants!

Great vibe boutique hotel sliding door opens to fresh air!! Hello euros hard to come by! Great place!!! Only neg was the rude front desk

Very clean, amazing shower. Great location near museums, playground, library and grocery. Worked well for staying with small children. Would return.

The Maj Hotel is a gem across from the Philly Museum & Rocky Balboa statue. Hotel is safe, clean, and excellent customer service! Small cafe-like setting near Check-in and we ate breakfast there twice. Quick 10min Uber/Lyft drive (45min walk) to downtown Philly or Independence Hall. I would recommend The Maj Hotel & would stay there again without hesitation.

It was very high class and modern. However for $180 a night, the room should have a lt least a mini fridge, which it didn't.
Also due the limited parking space, it's only really worth it to go form Saturday to Sunday since there's park netter you'll have to worry about.

Checked in late. Checked out early. No breakfast.

Great location, modern. They don’t have parking lot but you can park one block away for 8$ for 24 hours.

The lobby was beautiful and everything was clean. The rooms don’t have microwaves and fridge but right in the lobby there is a very cute self serve station where you can buy snacks and get ice and a microwave. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice and spacious too and the bedding seemed luxurious. My only issue unfortunately was there was multiple sticky spots on the carpet which I let them know of and later on my toddler found a single capsule, looked like a vitamin or probiotic on the floor… and thankfully he gave it to me and not put it in his mouth. It seemed like an oversight that whoever cleaned missed. I was disappointed that even with both those issues they didn’t offer to give me a discount or complimentary anything… There was a lot of great food places near by too. Seeing that most of the reviews were positive I would stay here again.

Small boutique hotel very Clean and very comfortable, with state of the Art amenities especially bathroom mirror . Will definitely be back.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and linens, loud AC. Very close to Museum of Arts / Rocky statue / parks for running and being outside.
4.7
Eco-friendly

Did not meet expectations. No onsite or valley parking service. Street parking or public parking garage several blocks away in a questionable neighborhood. Did not even check in. I would not recommend it.
4.7
Great boutique hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Great location.
4.7
Lovely rooms, brand new facilities. Super helpful staff. Coffee roasters and restaurants in neighbourhood location but close to Art Gallery. Don’t be put off by tech options. They are optional and fun if you want to set up.

The staff couldn’t be more helpful and polite

Very cute property. Rooms are a decent size, the hotel is clean and quiet. The surrounding area has walkable convenience stores and restaurants. It is next to the park and on a busy street. Traffic noise is a little loud.
4.7
Great hotel with a friendly staff and walking distance from the Rocky steps and restaurants and bars. The room was a good size with a large window with a view of the city. The beds were very comfortable. Nice shower and linen. There was a parking lot walking distance from the hotel that only charged us 8.95 for 24 hour parking that the hotel staff provided us with the information.

Loved everything about our stay! Will be back!

Great little modern place to stay! Wish we stayed longer! You won’t be disappointed with all the modern technology and location.

The staff are wonderful. Always friendly, doing extras like letting use their microwave, getting ice on request, hellping us know local eateries. The rooms are poorly lit - no llight above the desk. The bathroom is poorly designed with no towel racks by the sink. The light switches are too cumbersome, having to do up/down buttons instead of a simple light switch.
4.7
Modern, super clean and friendly hotel. Great location for Rocky steps and small walk into city. Would recommend.
4.7
The hotel was very clean and modern. The bed and pillows were oh so comfortable! Loved it!!

The property is well located for museums and jogging trails along the river and otherwise a relatively easy 30 min walk to City Center and Rittenhouse Square. Parking was tricky - you had to circle the block at night to find an evening spot or go to a garage a few blocks away for $25 a night. During the day the most you could park anywhere was 2-3 hours (on the meters or in residential areas). Whole Foods is an easy walk away for food, but otherwise not much to eat super close by. The "smart" gym treadmill is unique- it has agility workouts and more options built in. No eliptical trainer in the gym, so it has limited cardio resources but a lot for those who like weights. The rooms do not have refrigerators but they do have "smart" mirrors that display maps and the weather forecast and nest devices to keep the room at the right temperature. I would return as the positives outweighed the negatives and the area was quiet compared to the traffic of city center.

Excellent location right next to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Check in was a breeze - got in late at 11PM. Room was very comfortable and clean. That bed was to die for! Awesome vanity mirror in the bathroom that plays music also. Will certainly be back!

It was a wonderful stay. Everyone was nice and helpful.
