Very large room, bathroom with lots of counter space.

Our room wasn’t the cleanest. When I went to close the curtains for the night there was huge stains that looked like dried vomit or something all over them.

This breakfast buffet was the best selection and assortment of food we've ever seen. Excellent! Beds were comfy and clean and the kids loved the pool.

Nice hotel our room was bigger than I expected! Good breakfast too!

Couch in suite was hard, low, and miserably uncomfortable. Front desk understaffed.

We were in the room a total of 2 hours, and I found a bed bug crawling in the bed. Staff was great. They immediately gave me another room, washed the kid's stuffed animals and blankets, and refunded our stay.

The power went out during our stay and the elevators stopped working. We were in a handicap room on the 3rd floor. We had to take the stairs for 3 days. My mom asked for assistance with our luggage for when we were checking out and were told to call the front desk. The phones weren't working. I took some luggage down and asked for help from the same front desk lady and she acted like she was unaware and that they could send someone to help if needed but since I was already doing it....🙄 I was annoyed with the whole situation. I went back up to the 3rd floor and started getting my mom's luggage and a man came up to help, thank goodness. But the front desk had acted like it was an inconvenience. For the elevators to be out for 3 days of our 4 day stay....with a handicap room on the 3rd floor is absolutely ridiculous.

First night was great. Room pretty much clean. There was a faint ring around the tub that I took care of myself. The shower pressure in room 320 was fantastic! Didn’t see any bugs. The bed was very comfortable. A/C worked fine.
Second night:
Went to the Ark Encounter, came back to my room around 1700hrs 9/27/24.
Noticed Power was out. No lights or hot water. Effects from the hurricane no doubt.
As time went on, My husband got dinner and ate in the car.
Interesting night. A pitch dark hotel, made me feel like I was on an episode of ghost hunters.
Lights came back on in SOME parts of the hotel after 0500hrs on the 28th , but still no hot water.
Still no shower.
Elevator still down, had to use the stairs. Light in stairwell still not restored. Thankfully I had a flashlight on my phone, to keep from falling down the stairs with our luggage.
Went to the front desk to check out around 0600hrs. No clerk insight.
After several minutes, Clerk Robert showed up. He was doing rounds and handling power outage business; no problem.
The internet was out, so he was
unable to check me out in the computer .
He gave me a hand written check out confirmation on a yellow notepad page; at my request.
He also notated by my name, on his spreadsheet of guests, that I checked out. I returned two key cards.
He said that management should be comping guests but he didn’t have any details at this time.
I know nature happens,
but why no auxiliary power/generators?

Very easy to find. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast items could be upgraded but this is no fault of the staff. They are limited to what they ha be to work with

Everything was wonderful except pool was too chilly to use (for us anyway… 82 degrees). Good breakfast every morning. Room freshened up every day. Handy to have a Walmart nearby. Would recommend and come again if we ever make it back to The Ark.

Everything wa great. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and this one is right up there with them but a lot more wallet friendly. Friendly staff and very accommodating too.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice and welcoming this location is. Good sized rooms, clean and bountiful breakfast options. Only complaint was watered down coffee in the lobby. Coffee in the room was perfectly fine.

Beautiful facility. We had to leave early due to an illness Could not get refund for that night.

I didn’t like that people were smoking just below our room and we had to smell cigarette and marijauna smell all night!

I like the restaurant on the other side of the i75, Beans cafe, great food and donuts. Hotel was a standard hotel, comfortable, no bugs, pool a bit cold but all good.

Would be good to add grab bars in the showers!

The breakfast was great, the only downside was the plastic wear. I could not even cut my mouth watering waffle and biscuit and gravy without bending the knife and fork! Gotta get better forks and knives!!!! Everything else was awesome! We'll be back!
