The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. Better than many 5 star hotels. The cleanliness was remarkable. Super clean. And then there's the river. My wife and I have now found our "go to" spot in Ogunquit.

Went up for a family visit motel was clean and comfortable check in and out was easy
Price was great Would highly recommend

The beds were so comfortable!!! It was extremely clean, newly decorated. There was a second story screened porch over looking the river and grounds with chairs. The decor was attractive but I would have not have filled the space with so much modern/beachy furniture. The rooms are older, quaint and are not huge but without the desk chair, desk, coffee table and enormous dresser refrigerator combo it would have seemed much larger not crowded. Overall it was a very nice stay! The owner and his wife? Were nice and helpful. Thank u for a nice stay!

In the area I wanted to stay. Have stayed there in the past and found convenient and reasonable.
4.0
good position to town, beach but limited food outlets within walking distance and holiday traffic made for a difficult stay, but not the motel's fault. Friendly, quiet.

Room was spotless. Management was friendly and very attentive

Room was very clean. The sitting area in the back is so pretty. It was quiet there too.

Check-in was a pleasure, informative of the area and the room was immaculately clean and new. We were concerned with the traffic in front of the motel but heard absolustely nothing inside, thus a very quiet stay with ammenities closeby. Would definitely return.

AK (the manager) was very polite, answered all our questions. He was always available.
The room had been renovated, compared to the picture on the website (should be updated)

Town Lyne Motel is our go to place in Wells. We have been booking in here for several years and really like the place.
It is extremely clean and the owners are always doing upgrades. Rooms are decorated nicely and everything always seems new.Mattresses are very comfortable and there are media charging plug ins available. Kitchenettes are available in some rooms and most rooms have mini fridge and microwave. This is pretty much all you need to spend some time in Wells. I have family in Wells, so we visit often and I highly recommend the Town Lyne.

Very NIce "step back in time...) for Maine! Takes Me to my childhood.

Didn't like the cleaning fee tacked on the bill. If, I had known that, I wouldn't stayed their. The twenty dollar fee
is uncalled for. No one cleaned the room or changed towels the three days I stayed.

I lived in York Me for years & passed by the TLmotel often & admired its welcoming atmosphere. I learned on this visit renovations will commence- see you next year!

This place is old school in a charming and positive way. The decor is a little dated, but everything is spotless and comfortable, and well equipped with mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea station, and hairdryer. Check-in was friendly and easy. There’s a lovely stream behind the motel that’s visible from our room, with covered tables and grill for enjoying the quiet space there. I think it’s an old motel, probably built in the late 1960s. I find such old school places charming, especially compared to the soulless hotel chains or overpriced resort type hotels. There are certainly nicer, fancier, and absolutely more expensive places to stay here in Ogunquit, but for the price, location, and comfort, I’m happy we chose to stay here.

We stayed at this motel several times over the past 20 years and were always pleased with our street-facing accommodations at reasonable rates. I understand hotel rooms are at a premium in July in Ogunquit, but the rate we were charged ($622 for two nights) was outrageous for the room we were given on the motel's back side ("river view"). When we opened the room door, the first thing we noticed was a coffee stand that looked like someone had taken a hammer to it over a dozen times as well as a pipe suspended from the ceiling with a couple of hangers for hanging clothing over one of the beds (no closet). The room was in a dark corner of the building--and combined with security camera surveillance of the backside of the building that was visible in the office--left us with legitimate security concerns. While the room appeared clean enough, we didn't stay long enough to inspect it thoroughly. The only positive we can report is that the manager was most accomodating and offered us a full refund of our prepaid amount (which showed up on our credit card within a few days). We will definitely not be staying here in the future.

We had a lovely room, looking over a river. It is a quiet place. Rooms are cozy . It feels like home .

Pleasant place to stay. Wish there was a king bed option, but properly was great. Only a 4 minute ride into Main Street. Will be back.

It is an older motel with a few updates. The water in the bathroom sink was just a trickle and hard to brush your teeth. Fairly comfortable and spacious. They need to shampoo or clean the rocking chairs after each visitor. Only one hand towel, bath towel and wash cloth per person.

Lovely motel facing Route 1. Clean, convenient, quiet…great ‘back yard’ along a rolling river with fire pits makes it a wonderful place to stay!

Nice older property. Travel here frequently. Great back yard with creek. Met my needs well. First stay at this property.

Immaculate room and grounds. Very clean but just needs updating. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Thank you, my grown children and I really enjoyed ourselves, especially the fire pit!

The motel was close to the town and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean. The fan in the bathroom was incredibly loud (and you couldn’t turn the light on without the fan). The refrigerator ran through the night and was also very loud. The beds were okay. For the price, it was adequate but I do not believe that we would stay here again. It was very dated.
