Registration was easy and fast-very helpful gentleman at the desk. Had access to the room early, felt safe with stairs and elevator requiring a key card. Spacious room with 2 sinks for convenience in getting ready.

Great little place, close enough to get to the freeway and easy access to restaurants and shops.

The room was nice and the beds were comfy. The front desk guy, Josh, was super nice! It’s an older hotel but you’d never know. The continental breakfast was decent enough. Mostly carbs and as a diabetic, it wasn’t ideal. But they did have hard boiled eggs!

The Manager was so kind to us, we were delayed and got in after midnight, I called and he welcomed us with a smile and courteous service. I have stayed in many, many hotels and by far, this is the most comfortable bed ever!!

Nice hotel near Old Towne SD. Located within minutes from gate 5 for entry for graduation.
Clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff!

My big thing when I travel now is breakfast included. That does not mean the Continental type. And this place did have the Continental type. That's my only negative.

Decent facilities. Somewhat outdated-could use freshening up. Great breakfast! Friendly staff. Close to airport and MCRD.

We liked the Spanish style of the Inn. The front desk was very helpful and gave us several toiletries that we had forgotten. It was conveniently located near Old Town San Diego although the area immediately around the Inn was very industrial. The free breakfast was good with bagels, oatmeal, waffles, and packaged pastries. One thing we did not appreciate was that the breakfast room required a room key to open the door. This was a hassle and also makes the Inn seem less safe. Are there really people trying to sneak into the breakfast area?

Shower soap dispenser was empty or non-functioning. This should have been discovered by housekeeping before
anyone rented the room. Heater did not work. Maintenance was gone when I notified the front desk so nothing was done to remedy the situation. Some areas the parking was very tight requiring 4 or 5 adjustments going backwards and forwards to get out.

We spent two nights at the Inn and would go back again if we were in the area. It is a short walk to Old Town, a quick drive to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and the common area offered books and movies. Breakfast was offered and we appreciated 'real' oatmeal, not flavored packages. Thanks for a nice stay.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was dated, bathroom very basic with only small soaps, no lotion, nothing else. there was a small refrigerator that fit right under the cloth hanger rod so we could not hung our clothes. We were given a room in a separate section that does not have direct access to lobby/breakfast area/swimming pool. We literally had to walk on the street sidewalk to get to the main part of the hotel. The continental breakfast not well stocked. The photos that we saw online did not match the pool area or hotel entrance. The hotel states that they are close to Old Town, but do not mention that you have to cross a main avenue and go through train/trolley terminal, train tracks, a terminal parking lot and an under passage to get you to the other side of the train tracks, The area around the hotel is not walkable there was nothing around, you must have a car to get you around or walk to the train terminal.

The hotel was very clean and remodeled. Beefs were comfy. Quiet area and close to the activities we were there for. Breakfast was amazing too my only complaint is the parking. Very small spaces and crowded

It's actually a bit of a brilliant paradox: it's not really near the places you'll be going to (except Old Town), but it's right next to the light rail station - so getting to where you want to go is easy. It's also in a quiet area of town too, so as long as the other guests aren't partying into the night you'll have no problems sleeping. The price is right for what you're getting, and the property doesn't try and pretend it's something glamorous - which in my book is great.
The biggest positive, however, is that the staff are very personable, friendly, and treat you like a welcomed guest. Great for families, and their library of books and DVDs to watch is a big plus.

OTI is a great accommodation located in a less than ideal area. Very convenient to the Airport, clean, well appointed, friendly staff, comfortable beds, good breakfast, convenient to shopping and restaurants. Location surrounded by light industrial businesses, and homeless living under nearby overpasses, but we never felt unsafe. Best option to pricey chain airport hotels

A cute motel with a pool, convenient to get to almost anywhere in San Diego!

Great location, attractive grounds, good breakfast selection. Room was spacious and clean. Reading lamps on each side of the bed were a welcome touch. Bathroom needed updating, but everything else was great.

This was a surprising little gem of a hotel! It was very cute and clean.

Everything was good. Room was a typical hotel room. Only issue with the room was the noisy air conditioning unit. Location was nice being near old town although the neighborhood was a bit sketchy.

We had two rooms next to each other on the ground floor, that were very comfortable. The amenities such as a refrigerator in the room, a screened window that opens for ventilation, great AC, and a very nice pool area with great seating and landscaping, were features that will bring us back to this hotel. We enjoyed the free breakfast options and used the microwave also when we had leftovers from a restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful also. Summer prices were reasonable compared to other hotels. I would choose this place again for my next visit. The only downside was the industrial area. It was convenient to the train station and Old Town, but since we were without a car, we didn't always feel safe walking around the immediate area. To get to the train or Old Town, requires walking under a freeway and through dark parking lots, and past a variety of impoverished and/or ill people. They didn't bother us, but as a woman who often travels alone, I have experienced some unpleasant harassment so this type of area requires extra caution. This western side of the train tracks is not a tourist zone. We walked about a mile to an antique mall, and that walk was fairly ugly industrial: lumber yard, auto repair, big warehouses with fences, few sidewalks, lots of trash and heavy traffic. Best to have a car or Uber/taxi in this location.
