You’ll enjoy the quiet nature; lake walk, black squirrels, deer, trees, polite and friendly neighbors. Easy to find. Cabin is clean and modern. Bed and furniture are comfortable.

First off, it is not 100% handicap accessible. Getting into the main door and into the shower yes. But the bed was hard for us to get into, and we are not handicapped. High bed with large side logs you need to get over to get into the bed. Also, toilet would be hard for a handicapped person to use. Small tv in the bedroom, no local channels and no chairs to sit on to watch unless you're getting into the bed. I would have preferred the tv in the living room. Only one window opened in the bedroom, the other window the screen was ripped. AC was large floor model in the bedroom and was noisy. No privacy sitting outdoors and the view of the lake is very minimal. Broken blinds in the living room, didn't close all the way down. As another reviewer wrote, it is dark over the sink/stove area. Needs a light of some kind. The plus side. Unique cute cabin, very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with plates etc. and complimentary bathroom items if you need them. Great location it's close to town and many deer come to visit. They loved the apples I brought. Slicing them was easier for them to eat.

Great location and perfect size for a family get away! We have family that stays in the cottages next door and finally decided to book our own. So glad we booked this one! Plenty of room for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. Close to the water, shopping and fun! Would def book again!

Property was very clean and even nicer than pictures! Nicely located near grocery store and diners. Not too far away from larger towns if you wanted to get a more big city feeling. Owner responsive. Great getaway!

This property is exactly as described as a cozy couples retreat. We spent a week at the property and felt right at home. The cabin is located in a beautiful setting with views and access to St. Germain Lake. We enjoyed the abundance of wildlife we encountered. The cabin itself is warm and inviting, loved the fireplace and all the natural elements used throughout. The bed was very comfortable with nice pillows & linens. The kitchen had everything we needed and some nice amenities including a little coffee station. We ended up having to extend our stay and Kimberly was wonderful during the process. Kimberly was also responsive and easy to communicate with. If you want to stay somewhere that is welcoming, I highly recommend this property!

Everything was as advertised, perfect for what we needed, as soon as we got in and unloaded we had several deer walk up within reach of my daughter. There was room for the 4 of us, plenty to do near by, close to town. We had an amazing time and my wife and kids said we'd go back. The hostess was great and easy to work with, responded to emails very quickly.

From the time we reserved the cottage to the time we left, everything was simply amazing. Kimberly was easy to work with. The home was so stinking cute, and we loved that her father added touches he had found from work and play. We didn’t spend alot of time at the home as we love to side by side. The SXS trail up the road was sketchy, but after you went through the twists and turns - nothing could have been more perfect. Thank you Kimberly for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. The place was very neat and tidy. A lot of room for the two of us. The air conditioner in the bedroom was a god send. Very nice bathroom (shower especially). My wife really enjoyed seeing the deer every morning and night. She even got to pet one of them. They love mini shredded wheat.

The property is very nice and comfortable. A small dining table would be nice. The bar stools are a bit high for eating. The lake is very nice and clean. Having all of the necessary amenities is a plus. Great having A.C also! Nice area and close to town for shopping and eating places.

2nd time at this property and it was just as good as last time. The location to town is just perfect! Having the launch and dock on site is a huge win for our family. We didn’t catch anything this time but we sure tried! The deer were back again and we were prepared with treats for them. We got to see a mommy and fawn with its spots still! Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Thanks for a great Father’s Day weekend

My wife and i enjoyed our stay. Air conditioning is only in the bedroom, so are stay was warm but tolerable. WiFi and TV reception is not the best but there are plenty of movies to watch.

Easy access to St. Germain - Enjoyed the quaintness of the decor in the cabin - wished that the tv would have been a working tv - need a couple of lamps added to the living room for reading- overall, I would consider returning for another stay 😊

Wonderful property in great location. Snow shoed straight onto Awassa Trails from the property. Highly recommended hike! Our host had great comms. Check in and check out was easy. Looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great time. Shopping, took boat out once, freezing. Fished off pier a little. Enjoyed all the feet with there fawns, other outdoor creatures. The fireplace will make a big difference when fixed. Could use brighter lighting especially in cooking area and sitting area. Love the place. You nailed it with all the little things. Hope to visit again. 🍁🎃👻🧡

The property looks exactly as the photos - no surprises when you walk in the door... it truly is meticulously clean. There were only two of us in our group so the size was perfect. The owner provides everything you need to cook simple meals, which we did for breakfast; we prepared our lunches to take with us on the bike trails, and had dinner elsewhere. Upon our return from a full day of fun, we made a fire in the fire pit and settled in for a comfortable, quiet evening of feeding the friendly deer and a glass of wine by the fire. (We picked up a bag of corn from the local hardware store - do this - you'll wish you did!) The Pros for this property are many: very responsive owner, beautiful setting, peaceful and clean. We've become slightly uncomfortable in hotels due to questionable cleanliness and unsanitary conditions, but didn't feel that way AT ALL in this cabin. If we had to pick a Con, it would be that the interior fireplace featured in the ad was not operable. I wish we knew that upfront. A fall trip to the north woods would be amazing with the warmth of a fire. It wasn't too cold this time to make an outdoor fire, however, it would be wonderful during morning coffee, etc. Overall, the place is absolutely beautiful - we would highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay at this property. We really loved all the little details the owners did in their remodel. Everything was done very nicely. We had some issues finding the place in the dark. The unit # really isn’t applicable except for which direction to turn upon entering. When you turn left there is a large cabin to the right and then a large parking area. The cabin is the first one after the parking area. There was no WiFi as advertised due to the resort losing their service provider. Cell device through AT&T was a little sketchy. Since there was no WiFi there was only a few channels on the antenna to watch. We weren’t there much except for when it rained. It would have been nice to watch a movie. Perhaps a DVD player? The AC unit had a fault on it when we stayed and we were unable to reset it. Thankfully it was only hot one day and we were able to cool the cabin by opening the doors and windows. I would suggest some screen doors for future improvements. The kitchen was well equipped but didn’t have baking sheets so we had to skip our cinnamon roll breakfast but everything else was there! I loved that there was a Keurig instead of a coffee pot! The hot chocolate was a nice touch too. The bed was comfy and the linens (especially the towels) were soft. The basket of toiletries in case you forgot something was very thoughtful. The owner was very easy to communicate with even on a holiday weekend. The resort itself was great. Private boat landing, boat slip, tennis, basketball, volleyball or bat-mitten net, sand toys, playground, bags, paddleboat….you name it, it was probably there to use at your convenience. The location to town was perfect too! Even though there are a lot of units at this resort we still felt like we had our privacy and it was quiet. I have tons of friends asking for the listing from my pictures! We would totally stay here again!

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway for a few days. This cabin fit the bill perfectly. Kimberly has it stocked with anything you might need right down to toothbrushes. All you need are personal items and groceries. The cabin was nicely done. The bed comfortable. There was a double reclining couch, love seat and rocking chairs in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware and spices. We had trouble getting the AC to work but were comfortable with the fans on. The tv is in the bedroom and only had 4 channels. Wi-Fi spotty, never did work. Kimberly told us that the resort is working on a solution for that. The resort is clean and quiet. Close to hiking, atv trails. St Germain also not far with plenty of dining options. Easy drive to Eagle River or Minocqua. Kimberly very responsive to any questions we had. Overall a great stay!

Our first Vrbo experience and so enjoyable. It was a perfect getaway for the two of us. Nice outside space, with campfire area, and a dock space we were able to park the pontoon. The lake has restaurants you can drive your boat to. You are getting the Northwoods experience and also have a conveniently short drive to restaurants and coffee shops. The host was very responsive. We will definitely be recommending this rental to others.

We stayed the weekend with 2 adults, a 4 year old and our 5 mo old baby. Very clean and cozy. The bed and pillows are super comfy, there’s also an air mattress if you need to sleep more people! This is a great location in St.Germain, a cute cabin in the woods! There’s a playground, a small tennis/basketball court, they even have canoes and paddle boats you can borrow down by the lake! Highly recommend staying here over anywhere else! The Havisto’s were GREAT hosts.

I was looking for something to book for a few days for myself my wife and 3 kids (13,7,4) after reaching out to a few listings I came across this property and something about it drew me in.. It’s hard to judge a book by its cover when your searching for a booking, sometimes you show up and your disappointed and the property isn’t what it seemed in pictures and by that time you already drove 7 hours north and your stuck 😂. let me just say that this isnt one of those places. The place is beautiful from the craftsmanship and the carpentry of the wood trim the breakfast bar the porch the bathroom and bedroom the fireplace with that northwooods flare of this cabins artwork to the amenities that it includes really made this place feel like you have reached that north woods nest you were searching for. What’s great is your close to the water where there are 6 boat slips if you choose to rent a boat like we did it makes your trip even better. The rental company’s will drop it off for you and you can dock it for your convenience the prices in the area differ so call around to get the best price.. This listing is on a resort. There is a beach a tennis court a basketball net a volleyball net horseshoe pits all next to the water. They have tennis rackets basketballs, sand toys and chairs on the beach for the kids and family or for your guests. There is a fire pit located at the side of the property equipped with 4 outdoor chairs. This inside of the cabin fit myself and my wife comfortably in the master bedroom queen bed there are two couches in the living room. One three seats couch and one two seater. Two of my kids slept on each couch they were very comfortable and there were no complaints. My youngest slept on an air mattress which Kimberly the rental owner provided. Cabin has a microwave and a new large refrigerator a huge breakfast bar with great counter space the bathroom has a big spacious shower don’t hesitate on this one. Kim is a great host easy to reach responds fast and went above and beyond our requests and answered our questions. We had an amazing time and we look forward too booking again in the future!
