Summary:
Golden Lofts condos offer the ultimate Traverse City travel experience. This newly constructed, stylishly appointed two bedroom/two bath unit is located above Golden Shoes on the downtown corridor of the lakeshore town that's on everyone's list of places to go. Shops, restaurants, and bars are all just steps away. And it's the perfect hub for exploring the rest of this beautiful region we call Up North.
ALL guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The Space:
It's a 21 step climb to the Lofts entry on the 2nd floor.
Open main living and kitchen space overlooks Front St. Large screen smart TV, and fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms., 1,152 square feet. The bedrooms are furnished with king beds. Each bedroom connects to its own bathroom with walk-in shower. Living room has pull out sofa. Washer & Dryer in hallway closet.
Original exposed brick, modern fixtures and features create the perfect mix of history and contemporary style.
This Unit is on the second floor, please note the stairs are a little steep. There is no elevator.
**There are security cameras at the main door entry which is in the rear of the building, and in the Loft Level Entryway.
Guest Access:
Enter off the alley on the south side (rear) of the building. Once inside there is a long staircase which will take you to the second floor entryway where all four Golden Lofts units can be accessed. Units one and two are alley - facing while three and four overlook Front St.
Please note there is no elevator.
The Neighborhood:
Urban vibe comes with some urban sounds. Ear plugs are provided, if needed.
A bike rack is located outside the back of the Golden Lofts/Golden Shoes building and is there for your convenience. WMG Properties is not responsible for any damaged or stolen bikes or equipment.
Getting Around:
**BEGINNING DECEMBER 1st, 2023 GUESTS WILL RECEIVE ONE FREE PARKING SPACE BELOW UNIT - Parking for additional vehicles will include metered parking in the nearby parking garage**
HARDY GARAGE – Location: 303 East State Street- with another entrance on Front Street. (this is the closest garage to your unit.)
OLD TOWN GARAGE- Location-125 East Eighth Street (between Cass and Union Streets, which is one block to the west, and 5 blocks south.)
Please be sure to follow any posted signage to avoid being towed or fined.
EV charger: In the parking garages you can use the EV chargers located throughout.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $69 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $600. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.
High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional fee.
There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

Thought the property was great. I've stayed at many VRBO's, and the amenities were better than all the others. Great communication with host, easy walk to beach, right on the main stretch of shops and restaurants in town, easy private parking. Would stay again, and highly recommend the property.

Wonderful location for a family stay in the city. The place was spotless, the cleanest vacation home I have ever stayed in! The location was perfect for a quick walk to shopping, restaurants, and access to a tunnel leading to the beach, super helpful to avoid street traffic. Given its location there was occasional street noise, a loud car etc. But nothing that woke us from sleep or required ear plugs. The host was incredibly responsive. Just a 30 minute ride to the sleeping bear dunes to boot! Our kids had a blast. Highly recommend a stay here, so long as it’s not on a week I want to book ;).

Excellent location in downtown Traverse City. Walking distance to shopping, dining, spa, and more. Beautiful kitchen and baths. Has that city loft feel with the exposed brick. We stayed with 2 kids and they absolutely loved it. Excellent communication with the host as well as accommodative. We wanted to book a day early due to snowstorm and they were able to accommodate our needs. We plan on staying again someday.

The location of this place is perfect! Right downtown near all the restaurants and breweries. Just be careful on the stairs if you partake into too many breweries cause the stairs will get ya. The rental was perfect for two couples wanting to explore traverse city. The loft had everything we needed and plenty of extras. Everything was clean and well appointed. Highly recommend.

Having lived away from Traverse City for over 40 years but having family all these years to visit until recently, this condo made the vacation for our yearly trip even better because of it's great location to everything Traverse City has to offer. Close to friends and family with comfort not found in many hotels. Definitely on our list for next get away this winter.

Great condo/apartment with everything you could need ! Very comfortable for two couples or a small family. It was nice to have free parking in a garage. Be aware it is a couple of blocks away. Katy answered all of our questions in a timely manner.

This 3 night rental was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! The condo was everything advertised and Katy was an exceptional communicator. We could not have been more pleased!

These lofts are ideal for friends or family who want their own space. We booked two of the two bedroom lofts (four are available together) and couldn’t have had a better stay. Clean, modern and recently renovated making this a beautiful stay in a historic building overlooking Front street.

We loved the location of this property! Walking distance to almost everwhere we wanted to go on foot. Otherwise Uber and Lyft was readily available. Spacious and clea. Loved havibg 2 king beds and 2 Full bathrooms. Make sure you can walk the 20+ stairs~Its the only way to enter the unit!!

Beautiful condo right downtown. Everything is just as described. The condo was clean, comfortable and the host was very responsive. We were there with another couple and this was the perfect place. We plan on booking again soon!

We had a wonderful experience .
Condo unit was high end in every respect from the beautiful modern kitchen with every upscale appliance to the dishes and silverware.
The beautiful huge quartz countertop provided great seating in addition to a nice dining table. The unit provided everything you would need for cooking and dining.
The open concept living area had comfortable furniture that we enjoyed whether watching tv and conversing or looking out on the lively Front Street activity .
The bedrooms and attached bathrooms were high end and very comfortable. The in unit washer dryer combo was also very handy.
So many other great amenities too numerous to itemize.
The central downtown location can’t be beat. We walked to all the shops restaurants and even the Clinch Park Beach.
The host, Katy , was great from start to finish. And we also met the wonderful owners who provided many helpful tips.
Golden Unit 4 provided our family of 4 adults and two small children with a fabulous experience.
While I rate our stay 5 on a 5 scale, the steep staircase to the unit might not be suitable for some people.

A wonderful place to stay.
The property is located right in downtown Traverse City, with shopping, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
The condo was very clean and comfortable and matched the pictures in the listing.
The communication with the host was perfect and the directions for arrival and departure were very thorough.
The one parking spot they offer is great, the parking structure is a couple blocks away, but it was good for getting some steps in everyday.
I will definitely rent here again. And if you are looking for a perfect place to rent in Traverse City, this would be it.

Very nice property! Perfect for 2 couples. Each bedroom has king bed, walk in closet and it's own full bath. Great location above Front Street storefront, right in the heart of downtown. Modern and very clean. Definitely recommend!

Loved this property! It was the perfect location in downtown traverse city, just steps away from all the shops and restaurants. The property was very spacious, comfortable, and clean! We only had a little trouble getting in the property when we first arrived but our host was quick to help us and easy to contact. We would love to come back and stay again!

The loft is a perfect location for early morning coffee, happy hour drinks and dinner. Enjoy watching Main Street from the beautiful windows overlooking bathe street. 2 bedrooms 2 baths are perfect. Definitely stay again..
