Great spot for a Lake Lanier trip. Great host too.

This property was perfect for my family

The house was very cute and very accommodating. The owners of this house have true hospitality. The yard down to the lake is very steep so make sure youre ready to make the hike back up. It was very secluded and dark. If youre trying to get away from city life and bright lighrs.... this little cabin is definitely a great choice! The owners were very responsive to my texts and are very personable. Loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the lake. The property is nestled in the woods and you feel like you are alone. Wildlife is abundant, sunrises are remarkable and the cabin has large windows and a deck for full views. The cabin is well stocked and perfect for a lake getaway without the constant drum of activity on the south end of the lake. For those with limited mobility, access to the cabin and lake may be challenged by the length and steepness to both. But even though we are older and one of us has a bum knee, we were able to access both by going slow. I would highly recommend this venue to those that love this type of environment. And Jeremiah is an excellent host! 5 stars!

It was decent. No bells and whistles but decent. The trail going to the lake is kinda steep and theirs no railing. At the dock their is little railing and a basic dock, not much seating. The bathroom is very small. The kitchen is decent but small and the pots and pans are good. Bring your own seasonings and foil. The towels and rags are pretty worn in. I'd suggest bringing your own. The parking lot is tight. We had 3 cars and have no idea where a 4th would have went. Also, be prepared to load in with a nice little walk to the cabin from the lot. So, heavier items like coolers and luggage will be a little challenging. AND you have to go down steps, then up steps to enter the cabin. The beds are a real highlight! The mattresses and pillows are amazing! We rested very well. There aren't any lights over the stove, so they put click lights that didn't work. The bunk beds are super small moreso for children and the top bunk is little too low in my opinion. But, otherwise it was decent and clean. But very small and compact. It kinda feels like a treehouse. It's an order cabin, and it felt pretty safe in the area. The host is pretty responsive too.

Jeremiah was very attentive at check in. The cabin is well equipped inside and out and it’s a beautiful place. The only criticism would be providing an outdoor fire pit but then not allowing fires.

We spent 3 nights at the cabin. It was very relaxing with a nice hike down to the lake. We are over 50 and had no trouble getting to the dock and back. Check in was easy and the cabin was like a home away from home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cabin to stay at on this lake. Bonus that we could bring our dog. Thank you.

Family trip with our dogs, clean, fun, walk down to the lake and enjoy.
Jeremiah was very attentive and accommodating.
We had no issues and will definitely be back.

Located right on the lake, the cabin was perfect for 2 adults and one big dog. More than 2 people would still be comfortable. We did not get to use the kayaks or fishing poles because it rained the bulk of the time… really hard!! It is a steep hill to the water so some people may have trouble getting to the dock. Jeremiah had a Christmas tree set up so that kept us in the holiday spirit! And he made sure we had a roasting pan for our turkey. We would stay there again.

Cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It really felt like you were in a treehouse overlooking the lake. The area was very quiet and we had a group of deer that would visit every afternoon. It was perfect for my husband and I to get away from it all. The host was great and responsive to any questions and the cabin had everything we needed and more.

This was perfect for our stay in the area,we wished we could have stayed longer but due to the circumstances of visit it was not in the cards. Would recommend this highly to anyone looking to explore lake living

We enjoyed our stay, but the steps going down to dock were very steep. The parking at top and stairs going down to cabin was a trek. There was no beach/property to water as it was lower than grad of property and no stairs. I don't know how you could launch the kayaks or bring them back up the steep incline. I don't know if the lake water table is extremely low this time of year but the only way in the lake is off the dock. It was a pleasant place at top of mountain with trees surrounding the property.

A little steep going down to lake. Kayaks a little to heavy to bring down to lake and back up. I would recommend locking a couple of kayaks to the dock. We rented kayaks because we did not want to have to bring supplied kayaks back up steep hill. All in all it was a lovely setting for a get away from it all vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in such a great location. North end of the lake which is not as touristy/party centric as the south end. There is a great boat launch at Little Hall Park right nearby and the dock is solid and in excellent shape. The hill down to the cottage and to the lake is substantial so be prepared to do get a leg workout! We lacked for nothing and our host, Jeremiah, was fantastic. He was very responsive and easy to work with! Enjoy your stay! We did!

The cabin is beautiful and everything I expected! The host was very friendly and available if anything had come up. We had arrived just before a rough storm but Jeremiah informed us beforehand and checked in afterwords. He made the stay very enjoyable.

This is an excellent location if you are looking for fun family time. The cottage is a perfect cozy feeling - high ceilings, big windows, and the wood decor. There is a bit of a slope to the lake - so pack a cooler, but the dock is perfect for fishing and swimming. We had floats and spent so much time in the water. The cabin has almost anything you need. The daily visits from the deer were such a treat. We would 100% stay here again.

5 day stay with two 12 year old daughters and best friend Onyx our lab. Deep water dock with slip that held our wave runner easy tie up for kayak and tubes. Beautiful section of lake where Chestatee river enters top of lake. As described for a fair price and super easy dealing with owner.

This cabin and property was beautiful, private, rustic, and perfectly equipped with everything our family needed and wanted for a visit to the lake and nearby mountain region. My husband enjoyed taking his small fishing boat out to explore the lake and the public launch was only a few miles from the property. The cabin was clean and beautiful and made for a peaceful and enjoyable respite from the stresses of daily life. Our kids enjoyed a small beach that was also near the boat launch at Little Hall Park and loved eating breakfast on the deck while sitting in the tree tops and peering out over the lake. The cabin was spacious and perfect for our family and a few cousins that came to spend a night. This was a wonderful vacation and we’d love to return in the future.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rustic Lindal Cedar Lake House. It was a fantastic experience that surpassed our expectations in every way. The property was pristine and exceptionally well-maintained. We were incredibly impressed by how clean and well-organized everything was, and it made our stay that much more enjoyable.
One of the most delightful features of the Lake House was the breathtaking view of the lake from the porch. It was incredibly relaxing to sit back and enjoy the serene atmosphere, and the view provided a perfect backdrop to our vacation. The tranquil sounds of the lake and the lush greenery around us truly created an atmosphere of peace and relaxation that was just what we needed.
The house comfortably accommodated all of us, with plenty of room for everyone. We especially appreciated the large open loft with two queen beds - it provided ample space for us all. Additionally, the property is perfectly equipped for any stay, with a washer and dryer, smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor grill.
Another big highlight of our stay was being able to bring our two dogs along. It's often a challenge to find quality accommodation that accommodates pets, and we were grateful that the Lake House was pet-friendly. Our dogs enjoyed the trip as much as we did, and it was wonderful to have them with us on our family vacation.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Rustic Lindal Cedar Lake House!

The cabin is cozy and just the right size for our family of five including 3 boys. It is set on the hillside in an old-growth forest. We saw deer and all kinds of birds. The front porch felt like a tree house and was very relaxing. We cooked hamburgers and sausage on the grill. We used the dock to park a rented boat, fish, and cast off kayaks to a remote island a short paddle away. The kayaks are provided with the cabin. There are a number of steps but that is the trade-off for the tree house atmosphere.

The cabin is a hidden gem. It has a cozy, rustic feel and a private dock for swimming or kayaking. Stayed with 4 adults. The cabin was the perfect size. Highly recommended.

Nice secluded property, everything as represented. Jeremiah was available via text if need, but we had no issues and very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved the quite; just rustling of the leaves and birds. Beautiful views from inside and from the balony. About 70 steps down to the dock. Great kayaking for these novices. Plenty of things to do nearby.

The cabin was just as advertised. Quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Everything you need an nothing you don't. Kids 10 and 12 really enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. Highly recommend.

We were really happy to get to stay at a nice cabin on Lake Lanier. It was our first time staying on Lake Lanier. The cabin and the location was everything we were expecting for a nice, quintessential stay at a nice cabin on the lake.

Absolutely charming. This cozy rustic cabin sets the background for wonderful memories. Don't be fooled by the term "rustic", it has all the amenities one could as for, and then some. The Wright's definitely are some of the best hosts we've experienced - and as the picture on their wall says... it is definitely "The Wright Place".
The property is nestled away by the lake with a picturesque view, a lovely dock by the lake, very nicely decorated, and equipped with Kayaks (with plenty of life vests), Wifi, 4 televisions, kitchen utensils, and linen.
Jeremy was very helpful with our late arrival, and even made special accommodations with a firepit that lent itself for a beautiful evening outdoors with the family on a brisk December night.
My wife and two kids will definitely cherish the memories we made this New Year's Eve Weekend and look forward to this new tradition of traveling from Florida to a lake house in beautiful Lake Lanier, Georgia.

The cabin was perfect for our family. We were in town for a wedding and the location couldn’t have been better. Would have liked a larger coffee pot, but everything else was great. The view of the lake was gorgeous and all the deer sightings was priceless. Thanks

Beautiful area. Beautiful house.
Clean. Comfortable beds. Well stocked.
Jeremiah was responsive and kind.
Would definitely stay there again.
Would be fun I. The warmer months - there are kayaks and plenty of life jackets. Would be fun !
Just for reference , we went to a sailing regatta - the lake Lanier sailing club is about 30 min away.
Close to several convenient areas (gas stations/ pharmacy/ grocery stores, etc )

Stayed here with my family. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house was super cute. I have two under five so i had to put some of the decor out of reach but we would definitely stay here again. Great location and very secluded.
