First time iv gone in a B&B without the need to disinfect and wipe furniture down! The room was excellent, just big enough had all you needed. And staff was happy to give me extra milk and tea ect ( we drink lors of it ) We didnt need to ask fir extra pillowsas pillows were lovely and plump, we had an accessible room, lovely big wet room, a slope up to the door. The breakfast options were extremly generous portions, as was lunch, and evening meals, toast and sandwiches are doorstep thick, i loved it! It was to much for my 91 year old mum lol but she made a good effort. We would go back again. Definitely recommend a break here, we didnt want to leave. 😊🙌.

Cleanliness very good. Good size room. Dog friendly. Staff friendly and efficient. Good size breakfast and plenty of choice. Good variety of evening meals available too. Quiet location with plenty of walks around.

Very nice place to stay. Just a short overnight stay, with alovely breakfast in the morning. Spacious bar and restaurant, with lovely outdoor seating area and garden. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely pub in a lovely setting. Room spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Meals all well cooked and tasty. Staff all really helpful and seem to love their job couldn’t do enough.

What a little gem. From the moment we booked in everyone was so kind and helpful. Our room was The Kestrel. The room was large, very clean, warm had a decent sized smart tv. A lovely bath room with under floor heating a double sized walk in shower, with toiletries and soft towels. We had our evening meal and breakfast there and both meals were delicious and hot. We can’t wait to go back

Great for a 1 night stop-over as convenient to explore East Essex with its quaint & pretty villages such as Battlesbridge, Burnham on Crouch. Also areas of interest like RHS Hyde Hall, Stow Maries Great war museum, Essex Wildlife Trust

Staff were fantastic could not do enough for you, food was very good, only slight issue the window in the bedroom door needs a curtain to stop the security light coming in to the room at night.

A real gem. Superb setting and a welcoming sight. The Inn, staff, service and accommodation were excellent. Chose the Inn as we were visiting family locally. Obviously a great deal of time and money spent on developing such a lovely property. I cannot recommend it more highly. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Warm welcome, arriving just a few minutes before the kitchen closed was no problem and a lovely meal was promptly served. Location is very quiet so a good nights sleep. Room looked very new and was well appointed. Good quality monsoon shower over bath. EXCELLENT breakfast - when does thick slice bacon become gammon?? This must have been borderline, it was superb!

Quick and easy check in. Shown to my room. Staff so friendly and helpful. Food in the evening and breakfast was amazing. Room lovely and spacious. Quiet area so great night sleep. Loads of parking so no need to worry. Definitely recommend staying here

The setting was nice, the b&b looked good on the outside, but the room which was an accessible room was not so comfortable. No bath, just an accessible shower which does not for comfort make, furthermore the shower was cold in the morning too which did not make for a good impression. We were not the only ones with a cold shower, friends also staying, had a cold shower too.

Lovely accommodation right on the river and England Coastal path. All spotless. High quality food and very attentive staff. Rooms are well worth the money.

Amazing place, comfortable beds, underfloor heating in a good sized shower room, breakfast was very tasty and staff very welcoming. Self check in on Monday was very easy thanks to clear instructions. Will come back again.

Fantastic customer service and very clean rooms but most importantly they allow Dogs! :) Food was also delicious, highly recomending to anyone who values a great atmosphere and is looking for an outstanding service!

I was really surprised by this accommodation. It looked brand new. It did say recently refurbished, but it was exactly that. I arrived very late at 11pm but they had left me a continental breakfast as I had to leave at 7:30am the next day. I thought this was really helpful. The location was really quiet and I reckon lovely during the summer being so close to the river and the boats. I would have no hesitation staying here again.
