About this apartment rental
Dressed in beautiful earthy tones and boasting a singularly bohemian touch, this bright apartment in Athens’ Neos Kosmos neighbourhood offers a central, stylish stay in the city.
From its wood floors to its rattan rug and leafy houseplants, there’s a feeling of warmth to the home’s carefully curated decor that feels instantly welcoming. We love how much natural light fills the open-plan living area, thanks to the glass doors that lead out onto a private balcony. Sit here each morning with your cup of coffee while taking in views over the neighbourhood’s rooftops, or gather at sunset for an alfresco sundowner before enjoying a meal around the dining table for an at-home feast.
The two bedrooms, too, are just as chic with their luxuriously dressed beds and balcony access, while the bathroom’s rainfall shower and whirlpool tub offer the perfect relaxing bookends for any day.
When it comes to exploring nearby, head to the Temple of Olympian Zeus – a thirteen-minute walk – or make a beeline for the famous Acropolis of Athens, a seventeen-minute stroll away. You’re also a fifteen-minute walk from both Hadrian's Arch and Philopappos Hill, while Monastiraki Square is twenty-six minutes on foot from your door.
Home truths:
*There's a lift in the building to reach the apartment on the second floor
*At capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room – this will be at the expense of lounge space, however, so we think this home is better suited to four adults
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to stay – just let your host know in advance
*There's a laptop-friendly workspace
*Mosquito nets are provided
*Please keep noise levels to a minimum between 1 pm and 5 pm, as well as between 10 pm and 7 am
*The building's entrance is communal
*Self-check-in is available
*Free street parking is available, but we recommend skipping the car and using Athens' public transport instead – Fix station is a five-minute walk away
