Surrounded by stunning mountain views and seated on 2 acres of land with beautiful gardens, you will forget that you are so close to many famous restaurants and wineries which are only minutes away.
Situated in the heart of Broke, Hunter Valley, this fabulous 5-bedroom home is perfect for families or groups of friends. There are 5 spacious bedrooms made up to accommodate groups of 10. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, king size bed, and French doors opening up to a private patio overlooking the mountain ranges.
The kitchen has all the modern facilities to make your stay comfortable with a 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, coffee machine, and even an air fryer. With multiple living areas, there is space for everyone.
Enjoy a peaceful walk through the gardens or wine on the balcony while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. It really is such a special home that you will forget you are in the heart of Broke.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO
Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities.
Wi-Fi is provided complimentary on behalf of the owner. It is intended to be used in an appropriate manner by all guests. As the service is provided by an external 3rd party, Weekenda cannot and do not guarantee the speed or efficacy of this property's Wi-Fi connection nor do we pay any compensation for interruption of service for any reason.
Fires and Firewood: Internal wood fireplaces and outdoor fire pits only operate after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays in line with NSW state fire restrictions. Please note: we will normally supply enough firewood, kindling & fire-starters for between 1-2 nights of your stay. For guests wishing to have additional fires, we suggest BYO Firewood, Kindling, and Starters which can be easily purchased from the local service stations.
No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behaviour.
Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.
Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There is 1 external security camera installed at this location presently but the owner reserves the right at any time to install additional external cameras at their discretion. Camera is positioned to view the front entry area for external security monitoring only. All cameras are installed in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct.
Guest Registration / ID Check: Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for a photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.
Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.
Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

Thank you for having us, the place is nice and big and can accommodate 10 easily however the web did say 3 bathrooms but in reality there are only 2 , this should be corrected as future booking parties might rely on this information.

We made use of the property as we had a family wedding in The Hunter. The property is well kept and comfortable for a large group. Maybe an extra bathroom would have been useful.
We cooked a roast dinner one night and thought the kitchen was very light in cookware & kitchen tools. We ended up buying extra baking trays and knives from Woolworths. The kitchen could be better provisioned for such a large house from as little as $100.
Otherwise the property is as described and quite useful for a large family. We did find the check in process quite awkward compared to other places we have stayed in.

Every year we book a property for my birthday with our kids and my granddaughter.
Marignano Homestead is on of the best that we’ve had to date.
The house was spotless, very spacious and very comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly. We all really liked it.
The property is very well kept, quiet and in a good location just outside the hustle and bustle. All the main wineries, distilleries and breweries are easily within 15 minutes travel time by car it was great to be a little bit away from the crowds.
All in all we had an excellent stay and we do not hesitate to recommend this property.

The property was a great size for our large family of 5 adults and 5 kids, with all the basic’s provided. Kitchen is well stocked. There are a total of 6 bedrooms (one of which is a media room with a sofa bed that we turned into a bedroom for the kids). 5 of the rooms at one end of the house, and the other good size room at the opposite end of the house, which suited me perfectly. The only downside (if it could be called that) is that the house could use an extra bathroom. One room has an ensuite, and the only other bathroom in the house is shared by the remaining 5 bedrooms. Probably would be a great idea to add an ensuite to the room I was in. Also 4 of the rooms didn’t have mirrors, so I had to either go to a bathroom or to another bedroom with a mirror. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely consider this property again.

We all had a great time. There was plenty of room. The only thing I would have liked was more toilet paper as there was 10 women in the house and a bigger fry pan to cook for 10 people. But other than that the house was great. Thanks for having us

The property is true to its listing.
Huge bedroom space and beds extremely comfortable. A TV, fan and air conditioner in every bedroom and communal area. The house overall provided excellent space for everyone ie large kitchen, dining and lounge area. A separate media room was a bonus for the "football fans". The only suggestion would be possibly could add extra bathroom/ensuite for the size of the house - but this was not an issue as we just shared the master ensuite.
Location is very quiet. Great place for literally doing as little as possible and able to just enjoy the company., without feeling you needed to go elsewhere. For those wanting more the more you are within easy drive to wineries etc.
Rental price was excellent for the size of the house offered.
We will definitely be back.

Property was good to stay, very large backyard with the plants.
But there is few issues, Property was not ready prior to check in. Cleaner cleaned the house but did not empty the garbage bin which was overflowing. We have to keep our bins staked outside.
I would also recommend a instruction manual to find things inside the house so that visitors does not look everywhere.
