Great modern place that suited us. Easy walk to the beach. The cleaners were fantastic and came back with extras that were missing (body washing for the showers and washing up liquid). They also order more water for us too!

Lovely property close to beach. Downside was the bunk beds need firmer mattresses. The hard metal bases go through the flat mattresses. Could do wth a few more wine glasses too.

Great location
Good size home very close to beach. Great having 2 bathrooms and a big living room.
Needs some updating with linen and the bunk beds were extremely noisy and uncomfortable.
Had difficulty contacting after as didn’t get refundable fee back for some months.

Tata Heights
A great, kid-friendly house with enough space for us all. Ensuite was a treat. Bit tricky maneuvering the boat in and out of the drive with the caravan in the way but barely worth mentioning.

Amazing place to holiday
We had a fantastic holiday at Tata. Bach was clean, tidy & spacious and had everything you need to feel at home. It’s a close walk to the beach and has great outdoor entertaining space. Thanks for having us!

Weekend exploring
Tata Beach is a lovely beach. House doesn’t get much sun. BBQ needed de-scouring before use. Foam mattress could be improved. Good supplies for kitchen and cleaning. Just need a good sharp knife not serrated. Tv /satellite.... very basic needs updating. Overall a comfortable clean house.

Lovely holiday
This is a nice place. The tidiness/cleanliness of the deck and deck furniture was poor and the general condition of the yard unkept. The old caravan detracted from overall appearance. The absence of wine glasses with exception of some plastic flutes was a shocker. Please add some better quality knives especially a paring knife. We were also very disappointed with the cheap bedding supplied especially the sheets which were unpleasant to sleep in. This was the major negative for all of us.It was such a shame to have these distractions from a quality residence in a great location especially as all could be fixed with little cost.

5 stars but needs Wifi
Nice place, beautiful part of the world. Everything as described hence 5 stars. But needs Wifi though... the mobile phone coverage is patchy and in 2020 internet is everything. Otherwise it was great, thanks!

Great Spot
We really enjoyed our stay here.
The property was very clean when we arrived and the layout (2 bedrooms down one end, one bedroom at the other end) meant everybody got a bit of privacy. Lovely big spacious lounge & nice outdoor seating area too. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely collection of kids' board games in one of the bedrooms.
Agree with other reviewers that the bunks were very squeaky but we were lucky not to need the top bunk, so this didn't affect us too much! However if you have several kids, this is worth bearing in mind - the squeaking from kids moving in their sleep may well wake them up.
Worth noting that there is no (well, almost no) network signal at the house so getting any internet at all is a struggle. This didn't bother us, but it might matter to other potential guests.
Thanks for a great stay!

only thing we found slightly annoying was the caravan in the drive way
Great property with everything you would need. One annoying thing was the caravan in the driveway as we had 2 cars and a boat

Nice house in a great location.
Great location with a nice house to relax in. Communication with manager was good and friendly. Sketchy mobile signal made check in a little tricky as we had trouble with the lock box.
Bunk beds quite creaky and all mattresses very very soft.
It's nice that linen is included.
Overall a good place to stay.

Great house for summer
Great house for summer. That tree was a god-send on hot days! Beds - master was great but others were average. Squeaky bunks kept kids awake so we moved mattresses to the floor. House well equipped and clean and tidy. Very much enjoyed our time there.

Such a lovely place, great location and perfect for a large group!
Such a lovely place, great location and perfect for a large group! We had such a lovely time over queens birthday, relaxing and it was awesome to be able to experience and explore Takaka and do all the awesome touristy things - like Pupu springs and go to Wholemeal cafe in town! (Curly fries are a must!). The accommodation was tidy and well furnished and enough seating for all nine of us which was great. The heat pump took us a bit to figure out but when we sorted it, it was lovely and warm!
