Super cute property. Comfortable and friendly. Yummy breakfast
5.0 / 10.0
If you want a faulty towers experience this hotel is for you. Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly. Only a short walk into town. Nice balcony with river view.
Our room was very dated. We got hardly any sleep, even with earplugs, as our room was in the middle of two rooms both with adjoining pine doors to our room - so you really can hear word for word what’s being said next door. For the price paid, I would expect to be able to sleep. Communal areas very dated, and there’s a musty smell about the place.

The service in this hotel is better than anything I have experienced. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent hosts and I would absolutely return. Sauna and wellness area a bonus with an amazing view out of the balcony.
I liked everything!

Clean, plenty of amenities in the room, especially the bathroom - soap/shampoo of course, but also slippers, shower cap, hair dryer. No ironing board in the room, but staff were helpful and allowed me to use the hotel ironing room. Breakfast was delicious, and they accommodated our request for a packed breakfast as we were leaving very early, prior to the start of breakfast.
Could use a coffee machine in the room.

Staff was very polite, property clean. Very silent at night.
Extremely dated in terms of furnishing. Does not offer basic things that hotels all over the world offer (i.e. if you want a second coffee at breakfast you must pay for it). It’s stuck back in the past.

Easy walk to downtown, dining and bus station. Very helpful front desk staff and good breakfast!
Nothing!

The staff was friendly and the lady at the reception was so helpful and warm. Appreciated for that.
Everything was so good.

Location and safety.
The shower was a nightmare in a bathtub with an awkwardly low ceiling and shower head not an ideal height. Floor got all wet due to this. Price for one night doesn’t justify this at all. Traffic nearby was loud at night too.

I loved the spa, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and it had an amazing breakfast. I also loved the view from my room! It had convenient parking, it was close to the ski lift, and close to town. 10 out of 10 experience!
Nothing, it was really a lovely experience!

Very nice and helpful staff, delicious food, good location close to the skibus stop and city center
Room was dark and tiny, little window near the ceiling. No balcony, although it was clearly written in booking.com room description and in confirmation, that the room is with balcony. There was no shower cabin or even shower curtain. Would be nice to add the pictures of that room also to booking.com, so it will be clear what to expect when booking a single room.

Vey good breakfast. A lot of choices. Everything seems very fresh.
The coffee (served in the pot from which guests were pouring the coffee) was very bad. The taste was of burnt quality (every day). Unless the waiter brought a cappuccino, which was excellent.

We loved our stay here. All the staff were super friendly, the food was great quality with lots of choice throughout the week and the spa was amazing after a day on the slopes. Good location for ski bus and gondola. Would definitely stay again.
Everything was perfect

This hotel has a great location for hiking trips in the Dolomites. The decor is very dated (70s?) but in good shape, made us feel like we were on a set of Twin Peaks. WiFi was very poor but you get 4G. The room had a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding mountains and was clean. It had a sink in the room but not in the toilet which was a bit unusual. Lots of parking spaces.
Almost all of the staff tried hard and were attentive, especially in the dining room. Due to COVID, the waiters and waitresses would help us individually with selecting items in the buffet.
Food was alright for a 3 star - in hindsight would have only paid for breakfasts (wide selection) and not dinners (3 course was hit and miss).
Overall incredibly expensive for what it is, but understandable as it is in Cortina - in the middle of the Dolomites etc.
We left our passports in the room safe when we left, which we were notified of by telephone, which was good and as expected of any licensed hotel.
The woman (owner?) at the reception greeted us on arrival, and proceeded to focus all her attention on my boyfriend (BF): looking only at him and offering to take his luggage to our room - ignoring that he said no, setting his luggage on the only luggage holder in the room whilst ignoring me. Having paid for it for BF's birthday and living in the 20th century, I was quite frankly taken aback. Whilst in the room, I asked about the spa, the sole deciding factor for booking the hotel as BF loves saunas (there were many similar hotels but without a spa). In a different manner to the way she spoke to BF, she shrugged and said that it was 'probably' all booked up. Surprised, I asked her a few more questions to get more info. I previously checked their website and booking.com, and understood that the spa cost extra but it wasn't clear in English that one had to book in advance of their stay. She was obviously flustered and rudely repeated what she had said in an uninterested and dismissive manner. Later at the reception, after BF asked about the spa again, she unhappily informed us of 1 opening that we couldn't make. Then as if out of exasperation, suggested unenthusiastically that she could call a spa nearby whilst handing us a leaflet. Noting her reluctance, we called them ourselves.
As mentioned, this was for BF's birthday. I requested in my booking that 'I would really appreciate any small gesture/ surprise'. From experience, I expected a complimentary card, some chocolates or bubbly. That morning, we were given a large cake, from which big slices were given to us and we were told to eat it before having breakfast. It was on our table for all other meals. We found it incredibly strange but thought it was just amusing. However, we were billed 15 euros for it. If asked prior, I would NOT have agreed (BF hates sweets) nor paid for it.

Good location, just 10 minute walk to the center of town. Plenty of parking. The room was a decent size, nice balcony. Lots of space outside and first floor to relax, also has a bar. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful. Very relaxing spa area with sauna, steam room, gym and lounge area, costs 15€ for 2.
Lighting was either dim or blinding (spot lighting directly to the eyes).
I didn't like the coffee, not very strong or flavorful.
