The location, free parking and advice on bakeries and restaurants were on point.

The location of the apartment was great and we could walk to the centre with ease. Parking was easily accessible which allowed us the freedom to explore the area. The free passage through villa Melzi garden was few steps, away making it easy to enjoy a stroll along the water front under canopy of trees to the centre. The restaurant was excellent in terms of food and service and the lady who manages seated us without reservations for dinner. The apartment we booked was on the 1st floor and any future guests should be mindful that carrying a big bag upstairs is not easy. We managed though.

If you leave rules for guests to clean-up their dishes before checkout then the same courtesy should apply. Make sure that windows and curtaining are cleaned and empty the fridge before the next guest arrives. Give the unit a good dust. When booking accommodation a good functional bathroom is the 1st things I check for. The bathrooms on your booking site was good enough so I booked but was disappointed with ours. It was not featured correctly. Please share the good and bad so people can make the correct decisions when booking accommodation.

Easy to find and retrieve keys, host send us very detailed information.

Our room windows were going to the other building where the construction workers were working like 1 meter away form he window or to the main corridor where other people are walking, so we kept curtains all the time which was not so nice, felt like living in a cave :) Not able to open widows in the evening due to mosquitos, so no fresh weather, only air conditioned.

Fantastic location for exploring Bellagio and the Lakes.

The apartment is situated in Loppio which is a lovely quiet village on Lake Como. It is by one of the entrances to the botanical gardens which are beautiful. Staying in the apartment means free access to the gardens which we went in everyday, a real highlight of our stay. The owner sends a video of how to access the property which was helpful and very straightforward. Although we did not meet Martina, she responded to any messages within minutes. We got the bus from Como, and managed to get off at the Loppio stop which is close to the apartment. There is a good supermarket within walking distance and Bellagio is not far, a pleasant walk. The apartment had everything we needed and was very quiet

Quiet location with lovely views of the lake. Near to the Gardens and were allowed to walk through for free to Bellagio which cut out the big hill if walking.

A long walk to the supermarket which was closed for 3 hours over lunchtime. Apartment a bit tired especially the bathroom but adequate. Needs a bit of attention. Unfortunately we left after the first night as in the building next door there was total renovation building work going on starting at 7am. It appears to be a long term project so may go on for some time so check before booking as we weren't informed of this and had been going on for some time already.

location is great. access to gardens is added bonus. it’s a ten minute walk to bellagio. clean studio apartment with all the amenities

May be they could have a more equipped kitchen with basic groceries. not a deal breaker but it will be helpful.

Very low water pressure, showering, cleaning dishes or washing face was tiresome. Building doesnt hold heat well, were there in April and it was very very cold inside.

Very cozy apartment with kitchen and bathroom. All needed is in. The view from our room was on the Villa Melzi garden. You can also enter the garden for free which is really cool.

it's next to the Villa Melzi Gardens and right next to the lake. Also quite convenient 15-20min walk to town.

it was off season when we stayed and the whole area around the apartment had nobody about at night. Was a bit disconcerting. Of course it was no fault of the host.

Great place to stay when visiting Bellagio

The location was perfect - just next to the Villa Melzi gardens which give you free entrance. Also near to the hiking trails and harbor San Giovanni. Apartment had everything you needed, including kitchen furniture- we made there our own dinner and ate them at the tables in the apartments yard with the view of the lake. Everything was clean and lovely. Very friendly hosts :))

Superb

Our room had views to Lake Como and the mountains on the other side. The free access to the Villa Melli gardens was a bonus we used that to walk to the Bellagio Centre. Overall a great location.

The bed was squeaky but otherwise everything fine…

Serene Bellagio Perfection

Amazing location. Our apartment had a view to the lake through our window, which overlooked the Villa Melzi chapel. A 15 minute stroll through the Villa Melzi gardens to Bellagio (during the garden opening hours, otherwise you simply walk via the road). A 5 minute stroll to San Giovanni, where there is a wonderful cafe for your morning coffee (Nene Bellagio). The apartment was large, spotless and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle (+ day trippers!) of central Bellagio. the service was fantastic and friendly. Note there are no laundry facilities. We went to a laundromat in San Giovanni.

Beautiful stay at a great apartment.

Amazing location. Next to beautiful gardens of the Giardini Di Villa Melzi.You can see the lake from sitting at your window. Easy 10 minute stroll into Bellagio along the lake. Apartment was spotless and nicely decorated with every amenitie. We even cooked there one night.Would visit again.Free access to the gardens while staying there was an extra bonus as it was great to stroll through en route to the the town.

Perfect location a short walk away from the town centre but far enough away from from the hustle and bustle. Free access to the giardini di villa melzi gardens. Lovely apartment had everything you need. Kitchen, booklet with recommendations on where to eat, attractions to see, spacious bathroom. The owner was lovely had every little detail thought of. Would definitely stay here again

Great value in a gorgeous location!

A very pretty location just outside of the main town in Bellagio. Great to have a small beach just metres from the door. The apartment was comfortable and staff were flexible and friendly with check-in, with good communication.

The apartment is about a 10 min walk from the town centre, involving quite a steep hill which we found challenging with a large suitcase. The air conditioning unit was also loud so we had to turn it off to sleep and the hob was a bit temperamental. The kitchen could do with a few more cooking utensils and more basics like salt and pepper.

The location was very peaceful and Ornella's welcome was wonderful. Definitely a bonus to be able to walk through the gardens of the Villa Melzi every day to get to Bellagio. The apartment was clean and well-furnished, and we found it very relaxing to come back to.

We loved the place, the appartement and everything. We had a view on vella melzi and the lake. The place was very clean, big, and we'll equipped. There is a garden outside where you can eat. There's a shortcut to take from the place to Bellagio center, but it closes at 7pm. The lake is few meters only from the property. It's a great appartement, I recommend it.

The location is perfect and so ideal with free entry through the Melzi gardens. The size of the apartment was amazing with a very comfy bed and stunning view.

Beautiful apartment outside of Bellagio’s busy center.

The apartment was spacious enough for our family of five. We loved having daily access to the Melzi Gardens and being able to walk through in order to get to Bellagio town. The owner was very kind and answered all our questions.

Location is approximately 20 minute walk to Bellagio. This made it difficult with our luggage since we didn’t have a car. There are no taxis. We were there in July and there were three fans in the apartment that helped with the heat.

Amazing location right next to the lake and the botanical gardens. The property has a beautiful garden area as well with flowers, trees, and decent area to sit and relax. The apartment has everything we needed; comfy bed, clean bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen area, wine for sale, etc. Ornella was super kind and hospitable. She also offered a pass with free access to the botanical gardens, which served as a beautiful experience with plants from all over the world, and as the most efficient, and enjoyable path to the main part of the city. The area is very quiet, and away from all the noise / hustle & bustle of the main town. But still only an enjoyable 15 min walk through the botanical garden away from the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning to come back again for an extended stay.

It was a little challenging to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs to the apartment, but nothing too crazy since we were on the first floor. Despite it being a positive that we were in a quieter, more relaxing area, we were still about a 15 min walk from all the good restaurants and shopping. That’s all I can think of. The positives massively outweigh the negatives here, so we definitely see this as worth it to stay in this location.

It is located in a quiet town near Bellagio. A lovely balcony with a view of the lake and the monastery. The room was great with all the necessary stuff such as kitchen equipment etc. It is also, located near a Michelin-star restaurant. Bellagio is a bit far on foot. Especially in the evening, when the Villa di Melzi is closed, you must pass around the Villa to reach Bellagio. But it is impossible to find such a great room in Bellagio. So it is worth walking anyway.
