La localisation.
Pas d’eau pour se laver…pour une chambre à 200 £ c’est fâcheux même si le personnel est très aimable et nous a consenti un rabais. Même pas une boîte de Kleenex dans la chambre.

Wow what a building and the scenery made for a great stay. We had tarmac to stand my motorcycle on and I could see it from my window so relaxed instantly

Everything, the hotel, the staff, the view!

Beautiful location right next to the lake. Gorgeous building. Daniel was very friendly and professional; very polite, a real Scottish gentleman.

Location. Right on the Loch. Impressive views.

Location is perfect.
Lack of WiFi in bedroom.

Beautiful location, welcoming owners !
Basic food menu, but also understood it was difficult to get staff to work there
3.5
Beautiful location and the hotel had some lovely features such as bay windows in the lounge and dining room overlooking loch Marie.
A bit pricey with regards accommodation and food, but this seemed to be standard for this remote area. The bathroom was ok but lacked a proper shower and the natural source of water was periodically short.
3.5
Food was excellent and the owners very helpful. Location was in a wonderful position.
Décor through out was lovely.
Room slightly smaller than expected

The owners are very nice & it is located in a lovely setting. Our room overlooked the loch.
The hotel is a little tired. Our room only had a bath, no shower. Dinner was only served between 6pm-7pm, which was very early. I understand that this was due to staffing levels, but feel a slightly later option of 7pm-8pm would have been a better. The meals & drinks were very expensive, particularly for a limited menu option. We were doing the NC500 & this was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip. I hope the owners can get some more staff & turn things around. But overall our visit was a bit disappointing.

Tiny bedroom, barely room to move, dim lights made reading impossible, bathroom extractor fan sounded like a jet taking off and stayed on far too long. Upstairs was very dreary and unwelcoming, with the same dingy paint everywhere- skirting, walls, door frames, doors.

Property in a lovely location near the lake and wonderful to see the deer wandering through in the evening. Food whilst limited menu was excellent
Only a small issue as the bar was not opened so any drinks were served in the reception area. WiFi was weak but not down the hotel more the location giving them limited service but it did work .

Great views across Loch Maree. Lovely soft peaty water in the bath!

Stunning location with an amazing view from our room.

The room was lovely the view was amazing and the food was really nice and although there was not many staff they were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble we would definitely stay here again
Due to lack of staff the toilets downstairs were not open so we had to use our rooms. I have arthritis in both my knees so find it difficult to climb stairs
4.0
Location was amazing. Views were fabulous. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was expensive compared to other places we stayed at on the trip, but, that’s because of it’s location.
Slightly limited food choice but totally fine for one night. Easier than driving for sure.

The view over the lake is stunning.
The place lacked any atmosphere and the proprietors were not welcoming in the slightest. The rooms were basic and the general feel of the place was sad. Queen Victoria would not of been amused if she came back to stay !
3.5
Excellent location, pleasant rooms
Restrictive hours for meals, evening meals 6pm to 7pm with a very limited choice on the menu, not very good value meals!
Breakfast good but again limited hours 8am to 9am.
